Being children of God does not exempt us from the challenges of life. We are all equally susceptible to sickness, failure, barrenness, job loss, financial stagnation, accidents, and spiritual attacks. We have He who is above all our problems, but most times, we fail even to recognize what we have, let alone, use it. We must remind ourselves that God is there for us in times of sadness or happiness. But even more importantly, we must be able to command that hurricane to calm, and order that mountain to flatten. If we know what is in us which is above all other things; why do we have to plead, when we can command?
