He is blond, tattooed, and dangerous. She's as beautiful as she is mysterious and could be his destruction...

But that is long behind him, and while his tattoos and long blond hair remain, he's now a chameleon, far more comfortable in a suit and tie than a leather jacket.

Or so he likes to tell himself.

descriptionI don't know why it took me so long to take a chance on this author but boy I am glad I did because this was another cracking good read. This is Asher and Sierra's story. A tatted up, long-haired, former rocker, ex-Navy Seal bad boy and a woman on the run from a dark and dangerous past that stretches far and high. A past that if it ever catches up to her will take her and everyone she cares about down with it.

description

I completely loved this one from the beginning to the end. This is now the third book I have had the pleasure of reading by this author in the past month. If the saying "three strikes you're out" applies to misses then I am making a new saying "three hits, and you now get a spot on my favorite author list." Not as catchy I'll admit, but it works. The writing (as always) was fantastic. It was very well paced. The plot was engaging and kept me turning the pages. I especially liked the serial killer sideline the author included. It reminded me of a great Netflix show I recently binge-watched MINDHUNTER. I didn't find this particularly angsty, and there was no OW/OM drama (something that I really enjoy about this author's books, at least the ones I have read so far). The sex scenes were hot and relatively plentiful. It had a fantastic cast of secondary characters. A lot of the couples from other books make appearances and I CANNOT wait for Jacob's book as he intrigued the hell out of me in this one.

description

Both main characters were (fairly) likable. Asher I ADORED. He was smokin' hot. He was alpha. He was sweet. He was protective. He had the patience of a saint, and he was all in from the moment he meets Sierra. Sierra on the other hand...ugh. I had a love/hate thing going on with this heroine. For the most part, I DID find her character likable. She just tended to frustrate me A LOT with her inability to trust Asher and the Walker Security peeps. Every time I thought she was finally going to open up, she took two steps back. I am also really hard on my heroines and when you have a reluctant heroine paired with a seemingly perfect hero I almost always have an issue. The only other issue I had with this one was the wrap up of the main baddie issue was a little anticlimactic. But really that was just a minor issue for me. Therefore this one is getting two huge thumbs up from yours truly.description

"Sweetheart, you already pulled me under and I wouldn't have it any other way."

I loved Asher. LOVED HIM!! And really, who could blame me? He was tatted-up, had long blonde-hair, was a former rockstar, an ex-seal, and was a mountain of muscular hotness. Who could resist? Surely not Sierra (heh heh). Oh, and did I forget to mention that he was hugely Alpha and had a hero-complex? Heaven!! Asher and the rest of the team at Walker Security were on the trail of a serial killer. The victim count was up to five. And now that Sierra has appeared on his radar as a potential target, the team must complete the mission before she becomes #6. What doesn’t help matters is that Sierra is on the run from a serial killer of her own. A man she refers to as The Beast. Can two killers be caught with one stone?

Sierra was a sympathetic character and easy to like. While she frustrated me with her resistance to tell the truth or accept the help of people who are trained to help, I guess I kinda got it. Fear is a mothersucker and when it rules you, your decision-making skills won’t always be on point. I won’t lie… her hesitance and constant back-and-forth between accepting and fighting rubbed my nerves raw, but I still liked her. However, Asher definitely stole the show in this story. The author’s writing of him really brought him to life for me and I couldn’t get enough.

LRJ, once again, delivered an intense story of romance, intrigue and suspense. I really had no clue how these characters were going to capture the killers. I also didn’t know if a happy ending was even guaranteed for Asher and Sierra (no worries, LRJ doesn’t disappoint there). I loved the dynamic between these two. It wasn’t necessarily love at first sight, but it was pretty close. Their instant connection and chemistry was foreign to them both and it was illustrated clearly. Asher was a man who wasn’t looking for commitment and Sierra couldn’t commit because she wasn’t willing to stay in one place long enough to warrant it. But nothing could stop their collision course. They were destined for one another and it was proven in more ways than one. I loved how these characters played off of the side characters that made up the team of Walker Security and how we got to know a few new characters as well. Truly, my heart went out to Savage. I want him to really fit in sometime soon.

Book 3 is about Jacob, who is ex-special forces and characterizes the strong and silent type. I can’t wait to see how he falls! His book will be out January 23, 2018 so stay tuned!!

So good. 4.5 Stars!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This new addition to the series is a wonderful book! I love that each story is a standalone and you do no have to have read any others in the series first to enjoy this story. While I am a junkie of this author’s writing, it can be ages between books (or seem like it), so getting a refresher on who the cast of characters is is important.
This story is all Asher and what a delicious piece of work he is. Loaded with intense emotion, he goes in deep in this story. With two different plot lines running together, the tension is high to protect Sierra and yet he falls hard for her too. Crackling with passion and sexy frenzy, Asher is in full protection mode and it makes for an intense read.
The author is so good at creating a books loaded with hot men, steamy sex, passionate feelings, suspenseful situations, and awesome endings. This book is a remarkable story that winds you up right along with the characters. Heart pounding on many different levels, you will find yourself addicted to the Walker clan and Lisa Renee Jones’ writing, just like me!
“Next time you’re naked and this close to me, I’m going to have to show my appreciation. Consider yourself warned.”
Sexy, passionate, seductive, and suspenseful, PULLED UNDER by Lisa Renee Jones pulls us back into the exciting and provocative world of Walker Security. Although this is part of a series it CAN be read as a complete standalone. But if you are a romantic suspense junkie to the core, I recommend ANY and ALL of Lisa Renee Jones’ romance titles.
Asher and Sierra were great characters. I became invested rather quickly and they held my attention and kept me captivated the whole way through. I loved how Asher was pretty quick to become protective of our heroine. Of course, there was a little of an internal struggle, but with his background and what he does for a living, and the fact that HE was captivated by Sierra from the very start, it’s no surprise that he took to her so fast. Sierra was VERY reluctant of our hero, Asher, because of her past that will not let her go, but Asher was having none of that, and there begins their seductive and suspenseful journey to happily ever after.
I LOVED being back in this world. Ms. Jones instinctually knows how to keep her fans engaged and all hot and bothered. She creates characters that are so drool-worthy, complicated, and broken, and then pens the romantic tale of the characters putting each other back together again. It’s exciting! It’s poetic! It’s exhilarating and just beautiful! The only reason I didn’t bump this up to a 5 star read, which is what Lisa usually gets from me because I think she is incredibly talented, was the fact that the end was buttoned up a little too quickly for me. With everything they went through in this book, it would have been better to put a little more meat at the end to give it a real electric ending. I was still very pleased with Asher and Sierra’s love story as a whole. It flowed nicely at the beginning and definitely held my eye the whole way through. These characters, primary and secondary alike, were pretty incredible and I can’t wait to see who is up next. I can’t wait to dive back into this intoxicating world of mystery, intrigue, suspense, and romance!
Asher knows he's in for it when his new coworker at the bar is a hot girl that looks just like a certain drug dealer's type. Sierra is stunning, stubborn, and sassy. There first meeting isn't exactly glamorous, but when he realizes she's running from something he makes her his business. Sierra's past is a distraction for Asher that he doesn't need for this job, but when it turns out her past might help them out he pulls her into his circle of friends. At first they keep secrets from one another, each playing a losing game, but when they team up it's the other players who need to watch their backs.
"We're going to help her. I'm going to help her."
Oh my lanta, Asher is all sorts of bossy, alpha hotness. He takes the cake for being Lisa Renee Jones' sweetest, but bossiest hero ever. He's also super protective and very possessive, which is great, because Sierra, our heroine, is flighty. She's running from her past, something we know Asher can and is willing to help with, but her inability to trust makes her a hard character to connect with. She has several moments where I thought she'd put herself, Asher, and all of the Walker Security family at risk. She also brought a really interesting storyline to this book, so I can't dislike her too much. Pulled Under features the standard evil bad guy plot, but also has a serial killer plot on the side as well. We get to see a romance unfold, while also getting a glimpse into the everyday jobs of the Walker Security team.
"While I fall for her, and she gets to know the killer i nme, will she hate me?"
I struggled to figure out where I wanted to rate this on the 5 star scale, because it didn't have as much action to it as I had hoped for. I didn't have the usual fear I have for the characters, because it never seemed like they were truly in danger. Yes, Sierra's life is certainly at risk, but for once our main character and hero, Asher, really made me feel like he could save anyone. He's on a level with Marvel superheroes, if you know what I mean? He was there at all the right moments, he swooped in and saved the day, and stopped Sierra from her worrying, so much that I really just felt like he could face anything. At the end of the day though, like all LRJ novels, I was hooked on Pulled Under and finished it in one sitting, so even without the action and the high-stakes suspense I really enjoyed it.
"But I need her. I want her. I have to have her, and protect her."
Pulled Under is another great release from Lisa Renee Jones and a real treat for standalone series fans. I'm a big fan of all the extended Walker Security boys so far and I already cannot wait for Jacob's book, because he promises one heck of a story. If you're a fan of hot alpha males, stubborn females, incredible dialogue, and intriguing story lines that keep you hooked, Pulled Under and all of the Walk Security series need to be on your to-read list right away.
Like usual, Lisa Renee Jones just Pulled me Under with this story. I really didn’t put it down once I started reading it. It is amazingly written by an author who knows how to write compelling, complex characters and story lines. Her women are fierce and strong. Her men are alpha males until they fall in love and then they are uber-alpha. And, at no time, does the story falter or slow down. She writes action packed, romantic, erotic stories that will keep you invested in the story.
Asher was just as I described him. He was a man that made his own path in the world, despite his father. He was never a one-woman man until he set eyes on Sierra. As his heart tilted on its axis, his life became more and more complicated until the only thing that he could concentrate on was this beautiful woman and the cases they are working. First and foremost is to protect Sierra from her past and get her to trust him with her secrets.
Sierra can’t stop running from a man she refers to as “The Beast”. She can’t let anyone know the secrets that she has until she can afford to go where He can’t find her. People she thought she could trust turned out to be in His pocket. Now, there is Asher. One night with him and she has never felt safer or secure. But, can she trust him. As he brings her into his inner circle at Walker Security, she knows that she’s found people who she can depend on but, her one fear is that he can get to them and kill them just as easy as he planned her death. It takes the village to assure her that they are not going to die … the only ones that are leaving this world are The Beast and Ju Ju. She may be on both of these men’s radar but Asher, Luke, Royce and Blake, along with a host of other Walker Security and Seal Team 6 members will stop at nothing to bring them down.
Pulled Under was an intricate story that will have you waiting to see just who will get to Sierra first. With two cases going simultaneously with the same woman being the target, you can’t help but to turn page after page to see how this will end.
I can sincerely say that Lisa Renee Jones really wrote a winner with Pulled Under. It amazed me how she wrote two major storylines in one book and cohesively brought them together. She is probably one of the best romantic suspense authors I have read and I know, once I start I can’t stop reading the story that she has weaved. She doesn’t stop at the end of the story, either … she gives you a beautiful Epilogue that ties everything together.
If you enjoy Romantic Suspense, pick up any of Ms. Jones’ stories. From the Inside Out Series to the Tall, Dark and Deadly Series to the Dirty Money series … you will not be disappointed. But, be prepared to spend a lot of time on your E-reader or with a book in your hand because, once you start, you will not be able to put them down until you finish.
4.5 Pull Me Under Stars!
Asher is PURRFECTION...(please excuse my girly exclamations because he has successfully wormed his way into my heart from the start. That irresistible charm!)
What sounds like a typical love story turned into a romantic adventure filled with adrenaline and angst as the author lured her readers into the world of undercover agents and drug dealers. Asher is working as an undercover bartender to lure and capture a serial killer with a drug dealer profile. Knowing that his job is dangerous and even more so to keep his identity hidden, he never expected to meet Sierra, a feisty beauty with a past.
Sierra is running from a dangerous someone, and the last thing she needed was to fall for a tall, build and extremely charming man - who cares if he works in security? Or if he can ignite the sparks in the pit of her stomach? Or his electrifying and passion-filled kisses? The last thing she wanted was to let anyone into her dangerous life, or worse, pulled him under.
Jones sensational writing skill was what drew me in the first place. Coupled with her wonderfully complex characters, thrilling plot (every girl loves a dose of danger with her romance) and off-the-charts hot romance, prepared to be pulled under the spell and immersed yourself in this incredible story. I love it!!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book generously provided by the author! Thank you so much for the reviewing opportunity!
Asher is perfection and he drew me in from the very first chapter. I don't think I had a single complaint about him the entire book. He's hot, tattooed, alpha, ex-military... and the list goes on. Sierra is running from her past and she needs a break.  Asher is everything she needs but she doesn't want to let him into her life because doing so will make him a target.
Sierra and Asher are good together. I loved the way he took control of her safety and allowed her to have a breather.... even if she didn't feel like it was safe for him to be with her. He gave her a safety net of people she desperately needed and a place to belong that she could be herself in. She has to decide whether she can accept it or not.
All of that leads me to Jacob the hero in LRJ's next Walker Security book, Falling Under. He is Sierra's "security" while Asher is out of town and the epitome of the strong, silent type. I love him already and can't wait for his book to be here.
I received an advance reader copy of this book that I have chosen to review.
PULLED UNDER by Lisa Renee Jones is Book Two in the "Walker Security" series. This is the story of Sierra and Asher.
Asher was son to a very rich man who he rebelled against and ended up in the drug underworld before getting out and bettering himself. Now he is a part of the Walker Security team and is asked to return to that world after being gone from it for almost 10 years. Asher is needed to help solve some murder cases of young women and they think Ju-Ju a drug dealer may be involved in. While doing this undercover work he meets Sierra. Sierra is a tough, hardworking smart mouth but underneath he sees that she has painful past...and secrets. Asher vows that he will now be her protector...but will she every open up about her past.
Sierra is on the run from her past just trying to get enough money to live on and to stay ahead of the past. Sierra has trust issues which makes it very hard for her to trust Asher and open up with what is going on.
This was really an exciting story line that you cannot put down...you want to know what is going to happen with them.
Amazing, brilliant, suspenseful, romantic danger filled story! It has strong, tall dark and deadly male leads. Strong amazing women who are put through he11 but with the Walker security men and company by their side good will kick bad' s @$$!
Why 3.75 stars then? Because although the story is intense and all consuming, it has you from page one it also ends extremely quick! I mean why oh why are so many authors writing amazing books but they don't understand after investing time and emotions to these books and characters we also need to see the climax more than a chapter or worse several paragraphs! Could have been solid 4.5 read except the ending stopping so abruptly sealed the 3.75 star fate!
Asher could be such a tease, "Asher pokes his head around the shower curtain, all kinds of satisfaction on his handsome face. “I meant the front door, but if you’d rather join me—” Sierra just can't believe her man at times, “I cannot believe you were talking to whoever that was while inside me.” Asher loves ro spoil his lady, "he kisses me. “I like buying you things. Another first for me. Don’t make that a bad thing.” I loved this book and the Walker clan.
Pulled Under is an unyielding seductive, passionate, and vividly suspenseful romance that very much synonymous and had that staple signature of Lisa Renee Jones that readers are fond of. In this intoxicating read, Jones introduces readers to characters that immediately grabbed my attention as she playful entangles sexual attraction and danger. While some may find the heroine a little frustrating, I however found her characteristic flaw as the underlying factor as to why she and the hero had this connection that drew them together. So if you are looking for a romance that was sexy and entertaining, then this book is for you.
***ARC Provided by the Author***
Lisa Renee Jones writes fantastic, edgy alpha male characters...and Asher is one of the best. He's tough, but compelling. He knows what he wants, what he needs, and how to get it. Sometimes, though, getting what he wants is not the way others think he should have handled the situation.
Asher is interesting and I loved that he is self made, even though he grew up very differently. I loved his confidence and how willing he was to tell people how he was feeling, and what he wanted to do about it.
Sierra is running from something, or someone, which Asher can tell right away, but he knows she is not feeling safe or comfortable with letting Asher in or getting close.
I enjoyed the idea of Asher, who knows what he wants with Sierra who is afraid to want anything.
Jones writes excellent characters, and her suspenseful situations are always both well done and balanced well with the romance in the story. The romance was interesting, and it was compelling. I loved both the serial killer story and the backstory with Sierra.
Really talking about the plot of this will end up with me giving spoilers, which are evil, so I am going to stop here and say that I enjoyed this and I recommend it.
Oh My Gosh, yes! 2018 is bringing out some amazing books by so many author and pulled Under is simply no exception. Honestly believe that unless a book was or has a dark theme I'd have troubles sticking to the storyline, Lisa Renee Jones blew that right out the window with this book. I mean, i read it everywhere i could - out shopping, at restaurants, in bed, in baths, during supper. It was that good.
It made me laugh. It made me hate controlling and abusive men, and it sure helped me fall in love with arrogant men with hero complexes and the women who bring them to their knees. I couldn't get enough of this book and really can't wait for the next book to find out whose story we're getting next!.
THIS BOOK Y'ALL! I Loved the first book in this series and this one was TWICE AS GOOD. I know I rave liek this a lot, I can't help it, I read really good books, but you just don't understand. This book was romantic and face paces and insta-love in a way that completely wasn't insta-love and worked perfectly.
There is something about the protector in Asher that I just love. While Sierra isn't a damsel in distress, she is a woman who knows when she needs help and that is a strength that I admire in a character.
This book was a lot of information and I can't wait to see where the third novel takes us. While this one had a big BANG just as the first one did, there are things building in the background that I can't wait to see come to light.
I am in love with the Walker Clan and I need more from them. Today would be good.
4 stars. This is a good romantic suspense book! This is Sierra and Asher's story. Sierra is on the run from her powerful, but criminal, husband who wants her dead. She is working in a bar when she meets Asher. He works for Walker security and is undercover, investigating a case on a serial killer who frequents the bar. Sparks fly between the couple, but Sierra doesn't feel she can give in to the attraction because she doesn't know if she can trust him. When the killer sets his sights on Sierra, Asher steps in to protect her. AS they get to know each other, Sierra lets Asher in and tells him about her past. He vows to protect her from both of the threats and they fall for each other in the process.
I liked Sierra and Asher. When they first met, Asher was all-in right away, ready to give up his "no relationship" rule immediately. I was a little put off by that fast movement and didn't feel the emotions I was expected to feel. But I did warm up to them as a couple pretty quickly. Asher was protective, sexy and pretty much perfect. Sierra was strong and brave. But she did bother me a bit with her wishy-washiness. Her internal thoughts would go from all-in with Asher to pushing him away for "his own good" really quickly. It was a bit repetitive in that respect and sometimes I felt like she talked in circles. I wanted her to quit trying to run away much quicker than she did. Once she let Asher in and decided to stay with him, I liked her much more. But, overall, I enjoyed this book. The writing was good. The story was interesting, suspenseful and sexy. I was happy to see Asher and Sierra happy together and getting the HEA they deserved. I definitely felt their connection. They were sexy and sweet together. Also, I liked the camaraderie and friendship between the Walker gang.
This book is a great addition to the Walker Security series! I even enjoyed it better than book one. I look forward to more from this series and Ms. Jones in the future!
Where our first Walker Security novel has action leaping off of every page, the second will leave you wondering just what will happen next. Sierra's on the run...her murderous husband has plans to kill her next and she's had enough of cowering in his shadow. Just when she thinks she's made another successful attempt at hiding she's thrust into the world that is Asher and Walker Security. Bartender by night and ex-SEAL by day, this badass blonde has her in his sights and Sierra knows there's no escaping.
When Asher truly learns her secret she can't tell him everything...cause it just may get him killed. But what Sierra doesn't know is that Asher's own secrets mix with hers. His current case of a drug dealing serial killer puts her right in the cross hairs. And it turns out that the partner was someone we never expected. With what-ifs and turns at every corner, you won't know who to trust until the final dramatic ending.
Unfortunately for me and this story was the lack of heat between our hero and heroine. There's argument after argument in every chapter and I felt like yelling "enough" at these two. But what lacks in chemistry Jones' makes up for in action. The whole team is in your face for this case and I truly had no idea it would end the way it did!
Review For : PULLED UNDER by Lisa Renee Jones PULLED UNDER by  Lisa Renee Jones is Book Two in the "Walker Security" series.  This is the story of Sierra and Asher. Asher was son to a very rich man who he rebelled against and ended up in the drug underworld before getting out and bettering himself.  Now he is a part of the Walker Security team and is asked to return to that world after being gone from it for almost 10 years.  Asher is needed to help solve some murder cases of young women and they think Ju-Ju a drug dealer may be involved in.  While doing this undercover work he meets Sierra.  Sierra is a tough, hardworking smart mouth but underneath he sees that she has painful past...and secrets.  Asher vows that he will now be her protector...but will she every open up about her past. Sierra is on the run from her past just trying to get enough money to live on and to stay ahead of the past.  Sierra has trust issues which makes it very hard for her to trust Asher and open up with what is going on.  This was really an exciting story line that you cannot put down...you want to know what is going to happen with them. https://twitter.com/soapsrus68 https://www.facebook.com/RomanceBookR... https://romancebookreviewforyou.wordp... https://www.tumblr.com/blog/romancebo...
Those tall, dark and handsome men of Walker Security are back!
It's Asher's turn to be undercover and behind the bar at this dive in one of the worst parts of town. One perk, he gets to admire the dancers that perform on the bar while he fixes the drinks. When a new girl shows up, he immediately assumes she is a dancer. One crude and inappropriate comment later, and Sierra (the new girl) puts him in his place without batting an eye. He deserved it!
Sierra is smart, with a quick tongue, and independent. Nothing more attractive than a woman who looks hot and has a brain. Asher is "pulled under" by Sierra's force of nature and the rest is history.
This instant attraction spurs Asher into finding out more about her and discovering she is on the run.
This is a great thriller! Sierra has survived nine months on the run from an evil man and now she has landed right smack in the middle of an investigation that will further place in peril. As she teams up with Asher, among other things, she is about to discover just how strong she is. The interaction between Asher and Sierra has an interesting vibe as he wants to protect her while she is trying to stay independent. Hot and sexy, this thrilling read is one not to miss.
I am voluntarily reviewing this book. Thank you to the author for sharing a copy with me.
Reviewed on behalf of http://bookaddict.live,
This is book two in The Walker Security Series, and it never fails or I’m very fickle because I've been in love with Kyle from Deep Under. Now I’m in quandary because Asher really does for me. There is nothing sexier than one of Lisa Renee Jones Heroes they always feel like the real deal.
Sorry I was focusing on Asher, I can’t help it. On another note I always have a lot of respect for her heroines, and Sierra did not disappoint. The more you get to know about her the more kickass Sierra becomes.
When these two get together under such extreme circumstances you can feel the attraction sparking between them. All this with a life and death situation that Lisa weaves with her usual expertise. I was glued to my kindle, and ended up reading through the night. To me this is a five star feast in every respect.
Even though this is about Asher and Walker Security they can be read as a standalone, each couple get their HEA, but we meet all the bunch through each story. Anyway this is a great series so give one a try.
Jones comes through again with another stellar story. I am obsessed with the men of Walker Security. Exciting, intense, intriguing. I devoured every page.
Asher hooked me immediately. That man is something. Then, enter Sierra. It was clear that there was more under the surface and I had to know what it was. Jones has a knack for creating characters who are easy to connect with. Not only are they multidimensional and evolving but their circumstances are riveting as well.
I always look forward to see if there are any little "Easter Eggs" included. I get excited to see which characters from other series will make an appearance. It's a fun treat to come upon a familiar name or couple.
Jones manages to create completely different stories that all thoroughly captivate me in much the same way. I get so lost in them and the feelings they elicit. I find myself both utterly satisfied, yet desperate for more.
Asher is perfection and he drew me in from the very first chapter. I don't think I had a single complaint about him the entire book. He's hot, tattooed, alpha, ex-military... and the list goes on. Sierra is running from her past and she needs a break. Asher is everything she needs but she doesn't want to let him into her life because doing so will make him a target.
Sierra and Asher are good together. I loved the way he took control of her safety and allowed her to have a breather.... even if she didn't feel like it was safe for him to be with her. He gave her a safety net of people she desperately needed and a place to belong that she could be herself in. She has to decide whether she can accept it or not.
All of that leads me to Jacob the hero in LRJ's next Walker Security book, Falling Under. He is Sierra's "security" while Asher is out of town and the epitome of the strong, silent type. I love him already and can't wait for his book to be here.
I received an advance reader copy of this book that I have chosen to review.
4.5 Stars! Asher captured my heart from the beginning. He comes across as a controlling, possessive, alpha man, but then counter that with loyalty, friendship and a caring heart, throw in hot, ex-military and tattooed and boom, you have the perfect male specimen. Right from the start Sierra and Asher are a perfect match! She may need his protection but she is one strong, feisty lady and has survived running from a deadly husband. He needed a strong, intelligent partner in his life and as luck would have it, fate put them together!
What a great story. Not only is there great chemistry between Asher and Sierra, but this book was loaded with suspense and mystery. It showed just how close the Walker Security brothers and their team are. They aren’t just work colleagues, they are a family of very skilled men with each of them finding strong women that only adds to their levels of expertise.
Serial killers and bad exes added all the intrigue I needed to enjoy this story. Seems with just being the second book in the series, it’s making this series one of my favorites.
