Meet Madison—badass lady who is always bringing in the realm hoppers. Her targets have horrible habits and steal things.
Meet Grady—he’s a hard ass who brings in targets of his own. He’s got his own team and a penchant for flings. When the fairy tale collides with a legend…will they still be standing after the dust clears?
I love books. Not just a little bit, but a lot. Books were my best friends when I was growing up. Books didn’t care if I was new to a town or to a class. They were always there, my trustiest of companions. Until they turned on me and said I had to write them.
I can tell you that my own personal happily ever after included writing books. I’ve always said that an HEA is a work in progress. It’s true in my marriage, my friendships, and in my career. I am constantly nurturing my muse as we dive into new tales, new tropes, new characters and more.
After seventeen years back in Texas, we relocated to the Pacific Northwest in search of seasons, new experiences, and new geography. I can’t wait to discover what life (and my muse) have in store for me.
Maybe writing was always my destiny and romance my fate. After all, my grandmother wasn’t a fan of picture books and used to read me her Harlequin Romance novels.
Friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, friends to enemies to lovers, you name it, I love them and love to write them. I started with Earth Witches Aren’t Easy, the first in the Chance Monroe trilogy, but my characters and I have traveled a long way since I created that urban fantasy world.
One of the series I hear my readers recommend the most is the Untouchable series followed in quick succession by the Vandals, and that just delights me. No lie, whenever one of my readers brings up my wolves, I do a little a fist pump.
I’m active on social media, and I love hearing from readers. Feel free to tag me with a question about any of my books, or just say hi!
Every Witch Way But Floosey's is a gigglesnort from cover to cover. Madison & Grady are former partners now competing bondsmen. When they both land in Assjacket, WV after the same skip. Well Karma's gonna get you. This is a quick fun escape.
This book had me cracking up and was just what I needed when I needed it. Madison and Grady are definitely up to no good. But the sparks do fly. I really enjoyed this read.
I loved everything about this book and want more! The writing was fast paced and witty. Madison was badass and a witch I definitely want to read more about. Grady was sarcastic and a glutton for punishment. Their snow fight leading up to the cabin was hilarious! Oh, and we can't forget Karma the spell-brador!
Madison and her Spell-brador Karma are hunters. The magical dog showed up right after she was born, not what a mother actually wants for her daughter to be. Destined to hunt down witches and return them to serve what ever their sentence might be.Grady has his own team, and Karma likes him. He has sorceress and shifter blood making him much larger and sexier than other witch-born.
Now Madison's handler has broken her rules and sent Grady after the same bounty she's after. Floosey is set to testify against some powerful witches and she's jumped and the pay-off to return her is huge!
This isn't the first time these two have crossed paths and the sparring starts almost immediately. Not only with words but also spells and snowball fights.
What had the wisps all a twitter ends up trapping the two of them and even more fun ensues. Especially when the faithful Karma disappears.
There are lots of references to things of my childhood all in the snarky playful way Madison has with Grady.
Be prepared to laugh out loud, giggle and just enjoy this story.
I can't wait to see what happens in the next of this Magic and Mayhem series by Heather Long.

What a great short read from Heather Long! With her signature sarcasm and strong Female characters this was laugh out loud funny! How could you go wrong with magical powers, bounty hunters and a dog that can open dimensional portals? Meet Madison and her spell-brador Karma as they bring in spell hoppers. Don't forget about the competition, sexy pain in the rear end Grady Hammersmith and the unbelievable attraction between the two. This is a short introduction to Madison and Grady but packed full of funny banter between the main characters and a magical dog up to no good but for a good cause! Can't wait to read more about Madison, Karma and Grady! I was gifted an ARC and voluntarily read and reviewed!
I’m not sure where to start except to say: hilarious! Short, quick read that has magic and mayhem and fun and lots of snarky humor. Madison and Grady are frenemies and Madison has a sidekick that will make you want to watch your back to make sure your best friend isn’t pulling pranks on you. Really quick read that is lots of fun.
It's too pat! No no no . The story was great up to the closure and yet so many questions were passed over. Who caught her how were you captured . How was her theft important. How did you take care of your bounty hunter assigner. Stupid ending and baba freaking yaga would find you both by day two . Do you not know a true witch from a wanna be.
I really enjoyed this well written quick read. It was fast, fun, and filled with great characters that I can't wait to read more about. The storyline is set in Assjacket hence the connection to the series but no character crossover.
Love all the Magic and Mayhem Kindle World books and novellas. Due to holiday prep this one took me a bit longer to read. I loved it and I am excited to read book 2 of Madison the Witch Hunter series. I can't wait to see where she goes next in her hunt and if Grady joins her. This was a funny read. I enjoyed it! Look forward to reading more of Heather Long's books.
