First Snowfall

Rate this book
One snowy December in small-town Washington, a second chance is the greatest gift love can give...

Tony and Brian grew up next door to each other, had their first crushes on each other, and then puberty hit. Tony got into sports, grew big and strong, and made some new friends - the jocks. Tony's crew made life hell for Brian, and their budding friendship was tossed to the wind. While Tony stayed in their small town, Brian made a new life for himself in Los Angeles.

When Brian must return home to care for his ailing father and overworked mother, he's reunited with Tony. Brian isn't a skinny nerd any longer - he's a strong, dominant man in his own right, and despite their past, a sizzling affair begins. In bed, they're perfect for each other, but Tony is inexperienced as a submissive, and Brian is still bitter about the bullying he received from Tony's friends.

Will old wounds destroy their chance at happiness? Is it just kinky sex, or can Tony and Brian finally build a relationship that lasts?

First Snowfall is a standalone gay BDSM novella, it has explicit scenes and a HEA ending. Happy Holidays!

I tried. I really did but I just could not get into this book. There were so many editing issues: missing/incorrect words, wrong punctuation, etc. The thing that bothered me most though was how in one chapter, a character's name changed for an entire paragraph.

Along with those problems, I couldn't stand Brian. I don't know what it was but he was just so unlikable to me. Half of the things he said or did to Tony just seemed downright cruel. I get that he was angry. He had every right to be. But, to me, it felt like his temper got the better of him alot of the time. After forcing myself through eight chapters of this, I gave up.

Perfect

This book was exactly what I was craving. It was sexy, full of delicious angsty drama, and had both an enemies to lovers and D/s romance. I loved that Tony was a jock in high school while Brian was a geek only to find that, as adults, Tony is submissive to Brian's dominance.

Loved it!

This scind chance romance was intense. Intense emotions, intense sexual chemistry and scenes, with a little sweetness mixed in. Fabulous read!

One character's name is changed from Vince/Vincent to Victor and then back over 2 pages, then shortly after one of the MCs is remembering a kiss that never happened. Needs edited.
