This book has an exponential vocabulary which was very entertaining. Throughout reading I was a bit lost through the plot, but it all pieced together at the end. I do think that the last chapter was very rushed and didn't give the book proper closure. I enjoyed the simple but relatable and entertaining story line.
When I was younger, I read and re-read this books constantly! It was definitely my favourite, and it still holds a place in my heart 7 years later. I enjoyed the story, even though it was predictable, and I personally think it is a solid read if you want a mystery, math-y, love story :)
I enjoyed reading this book although the ending was a little bit predictable. I would have liked to see a bit of a twist in the story at the end but there wasn't. Still a good read.
Title: Drama Queen Author: Chloe Rayban Copyright date: 2004 Publisher: Bloomsbury children's books How many pages: 278 pgs How long it took me to read: 1 day Category: Fiction I learned about this book from: stumbling on it at the library
This book was purchased at: it wasn't. I borrowed it from the library. This book is: kinda lame. Other books by these authors: Hollywood Bliss series, Watching you watching me, Terminal chic, Love in cyberia Favorite characters: None really. When and Where the story takes place: England, 2000s Plot in a nutshell: Jessica thinks she's a matchmaker...it's kind of like Clueless in British. Main characters: Jessica, Clare, Cedric What I liked best: She kind of reminded me of myself at her age. What I liked least: The story was really whiny in some bits.
Overall rating: I should pick something a little more mature next time.
i definitely loved this book, and i recommend it to anyone who wants to read a sweet, engaging story. it's about Jessica, a girl who wants to find out what makes people fall in love, but then realizes there's no logic to it at all.
I remember reading this book and enjoying it but honestly just wanting to punch the main character in the face, I don't remember why either but I found her annoying. I read this back in primary school - year five. So, I honestly don't remember any of the book. But, the feelings are still there.
