From the international bestselling author, Saxon Andrew, comes the third-book in the Annihilation Saga, NO WAY OUT. The New Stars Realm is now confronted with the impending invasion of an extremely powerful civilization. Tag and Danielle Gardner know that they are missing something critical and are struggling to find out what it is, without success. When they finally discover, at the last moment, that the number of warships coming to attack the Realm has been woefully underestimated, the level of fear skyrockets.

One thing is certain, the Yellow Colored Warships are coming and there is NO WAY OUT of the confrontation. The Stars Realm's forces will be heavily outnumbered and Tag is sensing he and Danielle will not survive the fight.

The action continues in NO WAY OUT, as the Realm faces the greatest danger in it's long history.

Annihilation Saga III-NO WAY OUT is a full length novel at 97,000 words.

EXCERPT FROM; NO WAY OUT

“Admiral, were you not aware that the purpose of this fight is to buy the Realm time to rebuild and take this enemy on in the future?”

Marc was silent and Belle answered, “Yes, we were told that.”

The Computer continued, “We need you and Admiral Shan to organize the forces we build into a superior fighting force, when this fight is over. The Realm needs you more than your Primes, Admiral. If you can’t see that, then you’re not all I’ve been told you are.”

Belle turned around in her command chair and said softly, “Depending on your point of view, you drew the short or long straw.” Marc stared at her, as she continued, “It could have just as easily been us that died and then this wouldn’t be an issue for you. Surviving is not always as easy as dying.” Belle looked up, “What about the other transports, Lenora?”
“We’ve lost more than half of them.”
“What about Admiral Higginson?”
“I have no information on those lost.”
Belle blew out a breath and nodded. “He’s probably one that died.”
“Why do you say that?” Marc asked.
She turned around and said, “Because he’s like you! He puts his bravery ahead of his brain!!”
Marc saw her turn back around and her remark cut him deep. She was right. He didn’t care if he died. But he was needed to rebuild the fleets, once this was over. He lowered his head and tried to deal with his emotions.

I enjoyed most of this story and overall it was an improvement on the previous two books. The preparations to battle the Yellow Civilisation are in full swing and the story moved along quite nicely. There are numerous trials and changes made to their plans as the enormity of the forthcoming confrontation becomes apparent. Sometimes I am not so sure about the logic of their decisions, but it does mean the reader has to keep on their toes trying to keep up with the story. However, towards the end, some of the decisions were bordering on ridiculous, but I suppose they did match the nature of the story

My only real problem with the book, isn’t with the basic story or the characters, but with the quasi-religious creationism. I like my heroes to have more self-determination and not have their entire existence mapped out by some greater authority. In the previous two books Creation was there, but in this one it seems the omnipotent Creation effects everybody’s decisions, all the time.

A great story continued

I just finished book three in the Annihilation saga ll. I. Really like how Saxon ties in the story line with the other series while keeping it current and interesting. I liked bringing back past characters and how they interface with the story and are set up for continuing stories . I have read almost every book Saxon Andrew has on amazon and always look for his books . They are great stories with engaging characters.
