The road to Hell was paved with good intentions. The sisters are back to deal with the fallout of their lies and deceit. All they ever wanted to do was make a good life but in doing so they burned bridges that may be unrepairable. Trust was broken, lies were told and while they do get a chance to be with the ones they love they find it hard to fix what they've done. Hill, Hailo and Haven get one last chance to make it right but with new challenges standing in their way they quickly learn that righting their wrongs will not be as easy as they think.
I love how this story played out. I feared that the ladies wouldn't be able to find their hearts again and that Hendrix would some how continue to make life worse for them. The story came together so vibrantly. Waikeem is still mean as a snake but he soon realize that just like Hailo there is no harm in changing for self and love. All of the couples fought for love even when they didn't want to. The path they each chose was for them, one more questionable than others. Like how committed Haven was really threw me for a loop. At first I was "girl if you don't get cho", but fighting for love can drag the craziest reaction out you, well her. Being for someone will make some women do unfamiliar things. The book drop several jewels and teaching point. The knowledge Draye dropped after his situation was so powerful and true. At any moment each character dealt with a lot of pain, but they always had each other. They are truly their sister's keeper no matter the struggle, they were there. I love the story because of the raw emotional from them. Even the men succumbed to their feelings no matter hard of an exterior they displayed. Each man received a dose of their own medicine, especially Waikeem. Hailo had to pull up on a bih😂😂😂. I love the guest appearances, Haven will forever be protected cause that family is crazy. This story is everything and if your reading this review I recommend you read the series.
Dominique you had my emotions going in every direction reading this. I didn't feel bad for Hendrix because had he done right by the girls things would've been different. I swear the past has a way of making or breaking you. Hill and Hailo's past mistakes almost cost them the one who claimed their hearts. With Haven she folded when she should've stood strong for Draye the way he did for her. Keem was beyond rude for the way he was acting. Draco wasn't too much better and I was actually shocked at Draye. Guess it's true love hurts and being hurt causes you in turn to hurt those responsible the same way. Man Mia was going places and I really wish things would've been different. Paige, Yaya and Trill were thirsty and pissed me off. It took some time apart but thankfully the girls got some happiness after all the turmoil they had to go through because of the decisions they made. Faith was doing the most but I wish Raymond could've made amends with all three girls. He really did come through for Haven when he could've continued being selfish. I can't wait to see what more comes from Dominique.
This was a highly anticipated release and Dominique didn't come to play! This installment rendered me speechless. I absolutely love how emotions are vivid and the development of each sister took place. Hailo was and is my favorite. I'm happy she has her king. Hill was a piece of work and I couldn't help but to respect her hustle while Haven grew on me. These sister was severed hell on a silver platter, but I'm happy that in the end, the won! Oh, and adding Easton was GENIUS! He was from a previous book with Mikey and I love being reminded of past characters. Overall, this was an emotional, yet wonderfully written book. 5 stars!!
I loved the way this story ended 😍🥰😍. This was an interesting storyline. I definitely appreciated the uniqueness and it was so refreshing to not be re-reading the same storyline.
This was a really good finale! I loved how the girls were able to get their lives back and find happiness in the end. Faith was a very selfish parent to me, she was more concerned with what she wanted instead of what was needed our what was best. I'm glad Haven was able to connect with her father because i feel she needed that piece of her life to feel complete. All of their men were so strong willed but weak to them. Draco loved him some Halley and Waikeem loved Gallo when he didn't want to.
I definetly think the first installment was better than this one. This book was under developed and rushed. The guys started out being very angry and homicidal towards the girls and then how quickly they forgave and confessed their dying love. There was no in between with each situation. There was hate than there was instant love. I also felt like I’ve read certain situations before, from a certain author.
You so wrong for !making those Matin men appear in this book I got so hyped!! This was a really great book. There was so much character development it took me by surprise. Hailo did a complete 360 and became the queen her king Waikeem always wanted. Hill is still hardheaded and needs to forgive her father but she found love in Draco. As for Draye lil baby is so mature..he is every bit of a stand up dude.
This was so good! I’m so happy these men were able to recognize that Hendrix was the cause of the issues. I was so proud of Hailo. She really transformed! Raymond is a little too late to mend things with Hill. I don’t even blame her. Loved her and Draco! Her confession made me so sad. I wanted to slap Trill for his little stunt! Ugh. Glad Haven was persistent. I loved the tie in at the end. It was good to hear from them again. I can’t wait for the next release. ❤️
Dominique girllll u outdid yourself with this one here.. U loved both books but it left me wanting more u need more of waikeem and draco ... As they protect their loves I would love to see hill have to get gangsta right next to her man and for her man ...and keen whew I just need more of his power strength and knowledge.. And I would love to see more unravel from havens brothers! It just was amazing everything well done!!!!
This book was so good Ms. Thomas never disappoint, I loved everything about the Girls and their Men, sometimes you have to go through things to come out stronger then the first time before. I am so glad that everybody found there way back to each other. I didn’t want the book to end but I know that she will be coming out with some more bangers. Good Job Dominique😊😊
This book was everything from beginning to end drama action intense couples up and down couples was well paired for each other did not like their mom was happy the fathers was able to connect with girls the revelation I loved miss the crew with cameo appearance Halo will always be protect enjoyed reading seeing crazy Amil &Kadar Mason excellent ending
It’s amazing how when a book is so beautifully written, it can make you forget all the stress of life that can try and get you down. Well the story of Hill, Hailo, and Haven is definitely one that will inspire you to keep on pushing. A must read for all! Great job Dominique❤️❤️
This book picked up where part 1 left off and I promise you, this book did not disappoint. It was a rollercoaster ride seeing what these characters had to go through. I also loved how she gave some prior characters a cameo. I love the way this author writes and I cannot wait to read more books from her in the future.
Love that Hendrix is gone! So happy that the girls got their man, I'm mad that Hill could have a baby though. That Waikeem is everything and he and Hailo were made for each other. I love the way Draye was always there for Haven she finally got it together and did the same for him. Draco and are both stubborn but they got it right.
Hendrix got what he deserved these girls went through some things to come out on top!! This book had me on a roller coaster that Mia part had me shedding real tears I'm so glad all the girls grew up and bosses up did what they needed to do to get their men awesome book
Ending could have been a little different, Haven story could have been longer. I don't like the fact they kept saying she slept with Hendrix when she was a Virgin when she got with Draye. I knew it was something up with Mia momma boyfriend, but to kill those kids was wrong.
I was so happy to get from under Hendrix. He was toxic and would’ve gotten them killed. Taj was definitely a surprise but I think he was needed. Haven’s Family though!!!! I screamed so loud I miss them and need more. Great way to end a amazing story💋💋
I'm so glad that the girls got growth and got they happy ending. Hendrix didn't last as long as I thought he would. It would be interesting to find out how his kids turned out. Ready for the next.
A perfect ending to a great series ,A!l the ladies got the ending they deserved, as for their mom it's a lost cause she's who she is........ and for Hendrix it was time for his departure! Happy Birthday Love
As an lifetime fan of Dominique Thomas all I can say is her pen game is beautiful! Aa a native of the D of course she has street, but when you can make the savegest niccas fall in love then you know she beastie! I can't wait to see what she drops next!
I'm a little disappointed with this one . I feel in love with these characters in part 1 but felt part 2 didn't measure up . I'm glad everyone got there happy ending but book 2 wasn't needed .
I loved this series! I was so happy when the sisters worked out all their issues. They did what they had to do to survive and it worked out for them in the end. I liked how she pulled characters out from her precious book for a visit
This book made my heart smile. I’m so glad the girls got I️t together especially Haven I️ really didn’t like her but she’s grown and I’m happy for that. Great job as usual Dominique 😍
That ending was everything the sisters had a hard life but in the end they were blessed with amazing men. I know Draco was going to forgive Hill he loved her same goes for Keem and Hailo beautiful couples. Draye was hooked from the first day he saw Haven.
I’m so glad things worked out the way they did for the girls. Hendrix got what he deserved. It was nice seeing the growth in all three girls as well as their significant others.
A good read that will have you in your feelings. The drama continues and just gets better and better. The girls are finally free and trying to get their lives together. I like the men in their lives and what they have to go through to find their happiness.
Sooooo happy for these poor girls. They did some terrible things but they were making adult decisions with the mind of a child. I'm glad they got their happily ever afters.
I have been reading Dominique books from the beginning and I think that this the best one so for. I loved that girls were able to turn their lives around. I'm truly glad that Hendrix was dealt with he was simply evil. Great series
