Writing before finishing

Why give a collection Five stars before finishing? Because, after reading eight of the sixty - plus stories and getting a general feeling from the collection, I believe I can fairly assess the qualities and nature of Ms.Quinn's work

Let's start high level: do not expect super detail in characters from stories that run 15 to 25 pages? Really, I was pleased that the characters had a little depth for such short works.

The plots were, as one might expect, variations on a theme. But there is one aspect that sets these apart. The characters actually do get pregnant; it's not merely risky sex with implied consequences. Many "breeding erotica" stories stop short in this aspect.

But what made me know I had to give five stars was how the dynamics within the stories stay positive and focus on both characters' happiness. These are not "rough alpha male ravages innocent girl(s)," though there are some alpha males and there are some innocent girls.
