Dragon's Blood is the last book (so far) in this saga but it ends on one heck of a cliffhanger so I will be searching to see when (or if) the next book is due.
Serena and Killian are still separated, Katia is pregnant with Killian's child, Mathias' health continues to rise and fall as he makes erratic decisions.
I will be honest here. As much as I enjoyed this story, it didn't move along enough for me. Yes, there are parts where we take a hop, skip, and a jump but most of it is just "same old" but with different scenarios. We know Serena and Killian want to be together. We know they miss each other. We know the letters are a slice of hope to each of them. And we know that Katia will do what she has to to keep her child and save her own skin.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the series and I really hope there is more to come. If there is another book, you can be sure I will be buying it. For now, though, it appears I am leaving Serena and Killian separated with apparently no hope. If you like fantasy then I have no hesitation in recommending this series.

I hope the author is close to publishing the next book in this series. Michelle Rabe has that wonderful quality of being able to turn a page into a door. Opening this door took me into Dragon's Rest, Illedria and through the forests and countryside all around.
I saw Serena turn from a young queen to a stately, iridescent dragon. I watched Killian grow into his role day by day. I felt their love become stronger as their enemies multiplied.
Michelle Rabe has a precious talent. Her words are pictures.

Wonderful
So I read the first book in this series years ago. Recently found the second and third. I’m so hooked and sad because I can’t find the fourth book. Action and dragons, what more could you ask for?

I love this series. The characters are engaging and so is the story. It will be interesting to see how these two characters get themselves out of the mess they are in.
