Do You Want to Make a Permanent Change? This Time Can Finally Be Different!

Making a permanent change often feels outright impossible. Making one attempt after another, you fail and continue to fail, and it seems there’s no way to make the change stick for longer than a couple of weeks.

Perhaps… except some people somehow manage to stick to their resolutions in the long term and their lives do get better — permanently.

What makes the difference between those superheroes and “mere mortals”? More importantly, can the “mortals” acquire those superpowers, or should they accept that they’ll never be able to permanently change their lives?

Written by bestselling author, Martin Meadows, This Time Will Be A Short Book on Making Permanent Changes goes through a 4-step process called STAR that will take you on a journey, from the moment you introduce a new change, all the way to how to live your life after you’ve successfully implemented it.

Designed to be a short read packed with practical advice, you can finish the entire book in just one or two sittings and quickly begin to implement it in your own life.

Here are just some of the things you’ll learn from the

- One motivator you might not have thought about that can mean the difference between failure and success. Don’t proceed any further until you learn about it…

- What motivational links are and why they’re crucial if you want to introduce permanent changes. This unique concept alone can be enough to successfully implement a change in the long term.

- How to gain traction when implementing new changes. Discover CCC, a 2-step process designed to help you undergo an identity shift that leads to a permanent change.

- 5 tools to help you persevere when you’re struggling to stick to your new resolution. That’s when most people give up. Avoid their fate by applying the strategies discussed in this chapter.

- 3 core principles to live your success. It’s not only about reaching success; it’s also about maintaining it, which is often trickier than achieving it. Learn how to ensure permanent, long-term success.

If you’re tired of consistently unsuccessful attempts and itch for a permanent positive change in your life, buy this book now and learn how to finally make this time different!

Martin Meadows is the pen name of an author who has dedicated his life to personal growth. He constantly reinvents himself by making drastic changes in his life. Over the years, he has: regularly fasted for over 40 hours, taught himself two foreign languages, lost over 30 pounds in 12 weeks, ran several businesses in various industries, took ice-cold showers and baths, lived on a small tropical island in a foreign country for several months, and wrote 400-page long novel's worth of short stories in one month.

Yet, self-torture is not his passion. Martin likes to test his boundaries to discover how far his comfort zone goes. His findings (based both on his personal experience and scientific studies) help him improve his life. If you're interested in pushing your limits and learning how to become the best version of yourself, you'll love Martin's works.

Very effective little book.

It's short, but that isn't necessarily a disadvatage. Rather than looking at the mechanisms of introducing change, hooking a new habit to an established one etc. that you probably know as well as I do by now, it digs deeper. It focuses on changing self-identity as a driver for life changes, and presents techniques for speeding the process.

Whether it works or not is a different question.

I was actually surprised to like this book very much. Having read a ton of personal development books by this time, I didn’t expect much from it, just a refresher on the topic.

But not much is actually needed in this case. It’s a short book, tackling a specific topic - making long-lasting changes - and it tackles it very well. Author provides an easy to follow roadmap, many examples, and covers the topic at hand in a clear, compact way. Nothing groundbreaking, but then again - should it be?

If you've ever made plans to change something in your life (for example, to start exercising regularly) and almost inevitably failed at it, then this book might have something for you. Permanent changes (insomuch as anything can be said to be permanent) are unbelievably difficult to make for all but the most trivial aspects of our lives. And yet with discipline, they are possible.

This is a small book with many gems of wisdom. One of my biggest takeaways is this - when making a change, one must commit to their new identity and act accordingly.

Daily we must be mindful of what we want to become, the consequences of quitting and the impact of not making a change - when that becomes clear it'll be easy to make congruent choices.

Okay, short book, short review.

I think most books like this are crap, just feeding on our deep desires to make ourselves better people than we actually are. They have clever titles, make claims that cause you to want to learn their "secret," and then offer very little, if anything of substance. In short: bullshit.

While this little book was by no means earth shattering, I did actually kind of enjoy it. It wasn't overly pretentious, nor did it promise me the moon. I thought it offered fairly insightful systems and strategies that the average person could use to actually get going on some big life changes.

I found myself making a "hm, no bad... I guess that makes sense" face, coupled with a head nod on multiple occasions. I said to myself more than once, "I should probably write that down so I don't forget it."

It isn't going to turn you into a different person, and it never claims that it will. But if you want to get yourself into the right frame of mind and take some concrete steps to do something different, it might just help. A little.

Implementing Change rather than just Theorising

Exceptional text outlining key strategies to bring about significant personal change. I really like Martin’s positive attitude and fresh approach to get you to confront your own self imposed barriers. All you have to do is the follow the blueprint.
