Born and raised in Texas, USA. Was a voracious reader as a kid, loved science fiction and fantasy but would read most anything, including the encyclopedia and dictionary. 20-year US military veteran. Married for 43 years to the same wonderful angel of a woman. Began writing a few years ago, but don't consider myself a professional author, just someone who's trying to tell a good story for others to enjoy.

My Favorite of the series so far. The characters are becoming more likable. Especially the main character, Hooper. I have to admit of the "races" of people we have met on this journey, the Merdraken were my favorite. Once again I note that the book doesn't stand alone and often references characters and events from previous books; which, in some cases, can get confusing if you haven't read the previous books recently. Even so, I am loving this series and I look forward to reading book 7.

I need a Dragon!

Hopper is coming into his own, leader, fighter, and if he'd just tell her he loves her. Cara would be his at last! Truly the only down side to this series, all the action really happens in the last few pages. But I still can't wait to see how he finally rids the world of Vay and her evil ways!
