This just wasn’t for me.
I couldn’t get into it.
This book starts off with the main female character, Ava, getting kick out of her pack for some reason. After she is beaten by the Alpha.
A year later she has taken her hobby of martial arts into a job, and fights underground among other shifters.
She is the top fighter.
It is here where she meets one of her mates, Marco.
Later he takes her to his pack land to introduce her to his Alpha, but it just so happens he is also her mate. Along with another Alpha to another pack.
This is about all I know.
I got about 25% in and couldn’t go any further.
I read the ending but it didn’t make a whole lot of sense since I didn’t read more into it.
I like the concept of the story.
It has piqued my interest from the blurb, hence why I preordered it.
However, I feel like the book is written kind of monotone.
More telling than showing.
I hope others will read this book though and love it.
It just wasn’t to my liking.
So I still recommend it.

Not quite there
I could not read this entire book and I skipped until I got to the end just to see what would happen. This booked seemed way to long for everything to happen so quickly. As for the characters, they seemed really immature for their age. Most of the time I felt I was reading a teen's POV and the characters/ mateship seemed very unrealistic. The chemistry between the MC and her mates fell flat. I wished to have seen more passion and character dept in this book to show more personality. I felt the mates were push overs who went along with everything the MC wanted. They did not seem like Alpha males at all. This book also made me sad because not once did I see an attraction to any of the mates. Come on! Everyone needs at least one book boyfriend that they can relate to in each book. Unfortunately, there was not one in there for me.

I loved this book. Ava was beaten to the point of almost unconsciousness and forced to leave her pack. She has to go on the run and try to survive alone. She is a relatable MC with the strength and endurance to survive. Ava fights in the underground ring to make ends meet and soon becomes the best female fighter they have. she vows to never be weak again. It's at one of these fights that she meets her mate and soon meets the rest of her mates. This is a reverse harem romance. Can Ava trust again and let her mates help her heart heal? I hope so and I'm impatiently waiting for the next book to read more of Ava's story.

I really enjoyed this book. I like how the author built up all the characters relationships first and foremost. I'm really not a fan of insta love, however it worked in this story and I understand that with destined mates that's what you're going to get. I also liked how the author managed to make sure that there was enough time for both Ava and us the reader, to get to know each of the mates individually.
The book did end on a cliffhanger, but I really don't mind though as they keep me hooked for the next book (although I do hate waiting). I'll be keeping my eye out for when the next book releases and will be very interested to read it.

Ava is a broken, female main character. Normally, I love a broken FMC. That sounds so twisted, but generally broken FMC’s become these guarded characters that are hard to crack, but underneath it all they have something more - whether that’s fierce loyalty, humility, strong will, etc. It lends itself to the story development. For me, Ava is arrogant. With what she has to do to survive her past, I understand it to a degree, but she just never clicked as a character for me. In general it was a good shifter RH novel, but I wasn’t dying to move onto the next one, even with a cliff hanger ending.

What a fantastic debut novel. I really loved this book. I can see Paige Taylor becoming one of my favourite authors to read. Dark moon has everything I would want in a book. Paranormal aspects, romance, sex, drama and excitement. The main character is a strong, kick ass women who doesn’t let what happened in her past effect who she has become. She’s a cage fighter some thing I haven’t read in an FMC before. This storyline did a good job at pulling me in and taking me with it. Really excited to read more of this series.

Ava is a lone wolf who broke from her OG pack because she overheard something she wasn't supposed to hear. After leaving she takes up professional fighting in a underground ring. There she finds one of her four mates. As the story goes along she finds the other three. Vampires attack the Pack her mates belong to and things from her past get stirred up. Pretty awesome heroine and rh characters. Will be reading the next in the series.

I couldn't get into it.
I wasn't able to get that far into it. When they are fighting the girls hair isn't practical. If you're going to fight your hair wont be in a bun. It will fall out to fast. And you can't just become a martial arts instructor in 10mos. And Ava is on the run so why is she using her real name. I think this could be an awesome book if I could ignore the small things that dont seam right. However I'm weird and can't do that. However I think you should read it anyway.

I love shifter romances and this one was a humdinger!
Ava is a strong and fiesty wolf shifter, I really loved her strength and fortitude, forced to break ties from her pack and run, she manages to carve out a life for herself.
Her mates are gorgeous and strong and the chemistry between Ava and the guys is amazing, the story flows at a lovely pace and is packed with humour danger excitement and action, and am so looking forward to the next book, I found this to be a fabulous read

Average and really not worth reading
There was just nothing special about this book frankly. I have read lot of supernatural romance books and this was just run of the mill. Marco suddenly having a kinky side to him didn't flow well with the book and development of the romance wasn't sufficient enough. I felt like the whole time the book was rushed even though it should have had enough for the pages given. Even the ending seemed put in last minute.

I have to say I didn`t like the book. The conversations were too stiff and the male characters didn`t have enough depth and they all seemed the same.
But my main critic point is that it was nothing new. Just another okay werewolf book in which you could easily guess what will happen. The only difference to the other werewolf books is that there are more than one mate...
So I got bored and didn`t finish it.

Good book.
Definitely am adult book. Sex scenes with her mates that are not appropriate for teenagers. I liked the main characters strength and how we are introduced too her. I am not a huge fan of multiple Sex partners and doesn't change that for me with this book, but glad it didn't get too nasty so as to make me disgusted. I have read other wolf type books and for what I have read this strays a bit. Book ends in a cliffhanger and will continue.

What a fantastic read. It had everything!!
Dark Moon has a kick a$$ cage fighting MC. Sexy shifters and a plot that keeps you up late at night reading.
I can't wait for the next book to be out. That ending had me begging for more.

Boy oh boy!
So this book is phenomenal. Things happen to the MC that are out of her control but instead of letting it break her, she owns her situation and makes the best out of it. She over comes all the odds and manages to make it out on top. Her mates? Hot dang, yes please. I think Zane is my favorite.

Great start!
Ava is an interesting MC. She has made herself physically and emotionally stronger after being forced out her pack. I like that she is so confident in herself, especially when she has four Alphas. I like that she challenges the guys. Each person brings something to the relationship. It does end on a cliffhanger, so hopefully book 2 is out soon!

I feel like this book is a smut book with a half thought out story line to make all the sex scenes justifiable. There are so many plot holes. The whole story is rushed and just not thought out properly. It dragged so much that I could skip pages and it would still be relatively in the same spot of the story. Wanted to like it. But just couldn't. Sorry.

Draws you in!
From the very beginning of Dark Moon, it will draw you and you will not want to put it down! The life Ava lived you can tell has shaped her into the heroine she is today! The connection she immediately has with her mates is amazing and the ending was a wtf why did it have to be so..... Definitely hope we see more of her childhood family!

I love shifter books, they are my favorite. This book started harsh and ended harsh, I really hope that the packs are okay. I loved the main female character, a true fighter, the guys are totally alphas! I cannot wait for the next book.o

I liked this book if you enjoy Hot alpha males, major insta love (which at first i struggled a little with but pushed through - glad i did) and a feisty female lead. you will enjoy this book. Really enjoyed it and looking forward to reading the next book.

The story was pretty good, but the book needs a decent edit. Incorrect words/spelling and run-on sentences abound.
Ended on a cliffhanger too, but the next book is out if you car enough to continue the story. Not sure I’ll bother.
