December 15, 2019An anthology of various BL tales with a "Retro" theme.
1: Hako no Naka no Ittosei (The First Star In The Box) – Shimaji - Historical piece with a novelist mooching off a college professor. Matchmaking talks are disturbing the piece.
2: Himegoto Renbo (Secret Love) – Tokishiba - College students? Undisclosed time period? Abrupt ending.
3: Kusuri mo Sugireba Koi to Naru (Too Much Medicine Turns To Love) – Haruta - A Chinese herbalist and his student. Student gets mad when sensei brings a man home. Sensei says, you can be my man then.
4: Kawataredoki no Yume (Dream At Dusk) – Mayama Rika - The younger brother of a married woman asks to stay with the couple. The husband writes romances and the younger brother tells him his experiences. Dark dreams ensue.
5: Haru ni Shitataru (Dripping Into spring) – Yukimichi Ouji - A man discovers an unusual crystal shop and buys one called Snow Powder. That night, a beautiful snow spirit emerges from the crystal.
6: Koi no 100man-kai no KO (One Million Knockouts Of Love) – Mushiba - A young lad targets a scary delinquent with intentions of besting him.
7: Ano Midnight (That Midnight) – Syundei - Really liked the art style on this one. Very 80's. Though the story is very depressing.
8: Akame no Niekami no Akari (The Red-eyed Offering, Akari) – Hareya Umako - A boy is sacrificed to an imprisoned guardian deity.
