“Diego. Mate. Mine. I promise that I will never forget this moment as long as we live, Kitten. You are my omega now. I have claimed you and I will spend my life treasuring you.”
Alpha Heir Stefan is stunned as the scent of his fated-mate fills the air. When he sees the gorgeous omega with the caramel toned skin, whiskey brown eyes and silky black hair, his inner bear rejoices. He loves everything about the little bratty looking omega, even the arrogant glare he levels at Stefan when he catches the alpha eyeballing him.
Diego is a Jaguar shifter on the run from an arranged mating in his home village. He's traveled nearly four thousand miles to be with his primo, Jules, when fate steps in. One scent of his fated mate and Diego is ready to submit. The fact that he's a gorgeous alpha bear has nothing to do with it. Diego just believes in fate. Well, fate and good manicure.
This pair of mates finds their way together against the backdrop of the rogue war going on in the bear community. When the rogues attack the den, the little omega shifter just might be the one to save the day.
This is the third book of the Northern Pines Den series. This book is 30k and guaranteed to have an HEA. It's advised to read the series in order for maximum appreciation. 18+ readers only please! And yes, this book contains M/PREG, knotting, adults adulting in sexy naughty ways, and way more than the occasional use of potty mouth language! Caution: contains violent scenes and mentions of death as the pack is at war.
I'm a total fan of M/PREG Paranormal Romances, first and foremost as a reader. I'm excited to share my own omegaverse(s) with you. What's not to love about adorable Omegas and the Alpha men who love them? If I'm not writing about men sporting baby bumps, I'm definitely reading about them!
I'm a native of Las Vegas, NV, so I'm pre-wired to love everything weird ~ although I don't find any kind of love to be weird. I'm a cis woman who's been happily married to the same lovable lug for 18 years. We have a 16yr old son, well, at least I think we do? Either that, or we have a ghost that eats all our food and uses up all wifi playing xbox while screaming into a headset.
As a new author, it's been amazing to find the amount of support that I've been given from readers and my fellow authors. Feel free to message me, I love to chat with fellow readers. Am I a reader? Heck yeah! In fact, I'm never certain that I can completely trust an author who isn't a fellow bibliophile.
I will try to update here when I'm doing promotional parties & chats. I usually do those on Facebook. If you haven't already signed up for my newsletter, you should totally do it! I only send out NL's to announce new releases or important announcements. I also like to note in my NL what I'm currently reading along with a cover shot and the link for anyone who is interested.
Sometimes I just want something fun, and this is a really fun series. The main focus is on the characters and the relationships (and the sex, of course) and there's a nice little dramatic storyline as well. I'm really enjoying it right now.
Stefan and Diego, Alpha bear and Omega jaguar. In the beginning Diego seemed to be a whiny little brat but as the story progressed you saw that he had more layers than what we first came in contact with.
Stefan has grown from his little escapade with Taylor, and the near death of his cousin and Alpha, Mikael. Finding his fated mate has given him his inner strength that others knew he had but now he sees it.
Yvonne's war is causing problems for the Den but Alpha Mikael is handling it just fine with Jules and the wolves from The Northern Lodge Pack.
I don't know if I can read another book of cat and mouse with a rouge bear shifter. That's why horror movies that don't show the monster ate the scariest.
I mean book one didn't get to the third page before you knew there are players behind the scenes. Book two had the gorilla warfare starting. Why? You only get cause she cray cray and wants her way. This one has the enemy at the door. Loosing more and more with relationships becoming stronger. But nothing from the final boss! Cause why did she want an omega kidnapped?
5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow- Away-book like ‘Jesse's Smile' or ‚Joey’ from Angelique Jurd, ‘Save the at he kids' series from EM Leya, ‘Love’s Tethered Heart’ from C.L. Etta or 'Liberty' from Seth King), it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises (like most of Andrew Grey’s books) it's like an A
3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few times a year (most romances where you can enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in hospitals). I can recommend them definitively! It's like an B+
3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader, maybe 2-3 times a year. It’s like a B
2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time- reader (i wouldn't recommend it heartily, but it was ok). It's like a C-, D
1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an absolut NO-GO). It's like failure in the whole line, dismissed, repeat the class
Rating 2.5 Disappointing and just so-so. I really have liked Stefan as a character so for him to get a mate who is so bland is disappointing. The author tries to sell us on Diego being bratty and entitled but within a few pages this is refuted and he's some kind of saint. He is actually more interesting in his animal form and manages to save the day that way a few times. I think many will like how his catlike behavior carries over into his constant need to sexually tongue-bathe Stefan, but armpit licking and toe sucking squick me out a little bit. I really miss the Northern Lodge pack series. This entry has very little in the way of conflict or obstacles in the couple's personal relationship. Instead all the drama comes from the war (a big part of the book) and a pregnancy complication. Besides the sex, there didn't seem to be a whole lot to the relationship. Also, due to the atmosphere of war, we see very little of Stefan's trademark snark and humor. I'm really ready for this war to be over so that we can concentrate on the actual couples. I will continue reading, hoping that we move on to a time when there's a little more of substance to the romance parts of the book.
The reluctant Alpha Heir Stefan has been a progressive Bear surrounded by many more conservative Bears. He's been wanting to move from the Den compound to the nearby Human town until a totally unexpected event that completely changed his life occurred: a gorgeous sleek sinewy young Jaguar Omega entered his life. He was a runaway from Belize searching for his veteran cousin Jules.
Unfortunately this wasn't the best time to go to Northern Pines. Diego was very happy to find his fated mate despite having just escaped an arranged mating. This book could have easily been called Omega Strength. The Jaguar Omega proved he was an incredible asset to the Northern Pines Den. Yet despite a wealthy upbringing Diego was a super kind and compassionate young man. He showed by how he interacted with the Beta servants at his mate's home. I really liked this Bear Jaguar pairing.
Stefan is a sweet Alpha who was just about to give up the den to move to to city. But the gods had something else plan for the fun loving alpha. Diego is on the run from his father and his arraignment to marriage. Diego just wants to find his fated mate and start his own family. Stefan has his hands full with Diego witch is a good thing so his cousin and alpha want kill him. With the war that's going on will the two love get what they want are will the past keeps them apart.
OK, a shifter omegaverse mpreg series with with wolves, and jaguars, and bears, oh my! I've loved everyone in this series so far. Stefan is a pure joy from the second that we meet him way back in the first book of this series when he rescues Taylor from all the stuffiness.
Diego is such a fun character. I love his whole attitude from his clueless entitlement that's almost charming, to his fierce protectiveness and his pragmaticism. I think he and Stefan are pretty much perfect for each other.
Take the time to have a taste of Susi Hawke. She a true storyteller. The adventure is so worth price. Northern pack /den series are amazing brilliantly written work of art. First what i call amateur writer. Only because her stories or short. I can spend the day read atleast 4to 6 of her books. Her northern series is the first time i have rated every book 5 stars. As well as taken the time a review.SO JUMP ON IN ENJOY MPREG SLASH SEX WITH A WORTH PLOTLINE THE SERIES IS WORTH IT
Another great add to the series. Stefan finally gets his mate! Stefan is one of my favorites and I loved his friendship with Taylor and couldn't wait to see his Omega put him in his place. Enter in Diego and there is no other perfect for him. I love these cat shifters and Diego had me cracking up with his attitude and protectiveness. He's a fighter and willing to do what he needs to to help his new family. The Den is fighting non-stop with their enemies and need a Jaguar! Can't wait for the next.
This is another fabulous book by Susi Hawke. This is a very sweet love story between Diego and Stephan. What are the odds that Stephan goes to Jules, Sean and Colin's new eatery opening day and meets his fated mate. Even more surprising is his fated mate is Jules primo who just arrived from Belize. Diego is most helpful during a rogue attack on the den. As always it is so nice to catch up with all the previous characters. I highly recommend reading this book and the entire series.
Stefan's star kind of faded for me a bit in this one. After the first one in the series I had very high hopes for him. I thought he would break more from the typical Alpha tropes. Maybe Diego is too traditional in comparison and he pulls him back to the more well-worn path. I'm not sure what it is, but I was hoping for more of a surprise out of his coupling.
On another note, the war progresses and we definitely are more invested in Jules by the end of this one.
These two were freaking adorable. One of my favorite couples in the two series. Diego was so sassy and Stefan loved every minute of it. I liked that it was little to no angst with a splash of drama/action. Lots of sexy times, cute banter, and love. Another fantastic addition to the series and I can’t wait for more. Diego was fabulous, I adored him.
I've been looking forward to Stefen story since I read about him with Taylor in book one and I loved that his fated mate was Diego. It was a sweet read and funny especially with how the author thinks up of thing (vibrobutt) that it makes you chuckle and I'm looking forward to Yvonne getting her comeuppance. A good read.
Not very action packed, but was still entertaining and steamy. Diego, the jaguar shifter, is on the run. He was slated dor an arranged marriage but fled to find his cousin. Stefan, the alpha, isn't ready for the responsibility of being Alpha, but he finds out, that hes a lot stronger than he thinks he is...especially now that he has found his mate.
Alpha bear shifter Stefan meets his fated mate Omega jaguar shifter Diego. Diego is fierce and stubborn, while Stefan is steadfast and patient. The war is heating up, and Diego and Stefan stepped up to the plate when they were needed. This story was fun and easy to read with hot sex scenes, action, and fluff.
Overall Rating: 3.25 Stars. Decent writing, fast plot, and hot sex.
Oh my gosh...... So cute I already want more of this couple, Stefan and Diego make the cutest and sexiest couple. The author is always coming up with unique things for the kitties...😁😁😁 Can't wait for the next one....
Will love this story and fall in love again with Stephen. This is a series that draws you in will all the characters and the struggles they are going through.
I thoroughly enjoyed this addition, the romance was sweet, the characters were interesting and the action was well-paced. I enjoyed how this couple worked well to understand each other, even to the point were Stefan panicked under pressure and Diego needed solitude with his mate to cry.
I like Diego and Stefan. They are a cute couple and Diego is a little spitfire. Stefan is just a great character. I liked how strong Diego was and gave his Alpha a run for his money. Can't wait for more of the series.
