I am a huge fan of Ghazals and Urdu poetry. The challenge, though, is that I dont understand all of it. This book is perfect for someone like me. It has the meanings of over 8000 Urdu words in Hindi, Marathi and English. Plus it has over 5500 shers (couplets) that use that particular word that is being defined. Its a great way to get to read some beautiful poetry, as well as get to learn a few new words.

Fantastic book. A Gazal dictionary. In earlier pages history of Gazal is given in 3-4 pages. Then Its like oxford dictionary, meaning of words in English as well and Gazal in the form of example below the word, which includes that word. Gazal lover should buy it,to know the exact meaning of the words.
