Wreckage #3

Shredded

Rate this book
Tell me you want this as bad as I do. When something slammed into me at band rehearsal, I wasn't expecting it to be a woman that landed on top of me. And I definitely wasn't expecting it to be a woman like Reese Bailey. My blue-eyed, backwoods angel is the exact opposite of what I should want. After all, I'm the millionaire rockstar bassist of Wreckage whose family owns one of the largest estates in England, and she's a tough-talking American country girl and the only female roadie on our crew. She's not what I wanted. But she's exactly what I need. Now what I need is to bruise her lips with mine and feel her body quiver as I make her moan. But she's holding back. She's scared of something and I need to know what it is. Because I want all of her.

Even her secrets.

Vivian Lux is a penname for author Theresa Leigh

Theresa Leigh is a romance author whose love of reading is so intense, she sometimes injures herself by walking around with her nose in a book. She loves writing stories that have you feeling every emotion... sometimes all on the same page.

After five years of writing romance under a penname, Theresa finally decided to own up to how she was spending her all time. Her mother now knows all about the kinds of books she writes. She reacted more positively to it than Theresa expected.

Theresa lives and writes in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York State (not the city) (that distinction is important to her), where she lives with her husband, twin sons and twin orange cats, Pumpkin and Jackie O’Lantern. When she's not writing or reading, she enjoys eating too much Thai food, walking around barefoot, and cooing baby talk at her cats.

This was a rockstar romance. To be honest I normally stay way for these type of romance stories but to me this was nothing like any of the rockstar romances I have read. I truly enjoyed this read.

I always battle when writing a review which character I want start talking about, the male or the female. I normally go with the female so this time I think I will go with the male. Niall was the Bassist player in the band. Due to somethings that he had went through in his past it changed him. It caused trust issues, and it harden him. He knew what it was like to face someone with addiction. He also knew what it was like to watch that person destroy themselves. Lies and secrets is something he can not stand for.

Reese had been through so much in her life. Her father was trash and she did not have a very good childhood. She fought to get to were she was at and had so much pride. She carried so much hurt around it was really wearing her down.

Reese was lucky she did have a uncle that carried about her deeply and went above and beyond to help her secure a job. She was now woking as a roadie. She was one that felt like she wanted to be on the road. It was like she was running from her past and scared if she slowed down it would catch up with her.

I loved the brotherhood that the band had. They carried deeply for each other. They had been through so much and knew what Niall had went through. They also loved to see Niall’s walls being torn down.

I loved reading about Niall and Reese getting close. I loved the chemistry and deep connection they shared. There was love, pain, and somethings that will make you laugh. I love that the will find home in one another.

**long drawn out dramatic sighs**
“He kissed me in a way that made me feel like I was already naked. He kissed me like I was already his. He kissed me like he wanted to put me high on a pedestal, then yank me back down again and f*ck me in the dirt.”

Yeah,
I have some jealousy towards a fictional character, and you know what that is okay. ( well maybe..) I have some serious love for the newest addition to the Wreckage Saga!

This time it is about Niall living in a depressed cloud since breaking up with his fiancee, he has not been in the right head space, literally- until Reese Bailey a new rigger on Roadie Crew saves him from falling equipment.
The instant connection between them is white-hot, right away these two become a funny, passion-fueled insta-all couple!
Niall is coming out of bad relationship he needs full disclosure of everything. Reese has a dark past she is not willing to share, even with different histories and personal lives these two cannot keep apart from another, the animal magnetism is too powerful- but in the end, will the things that define them be what breaks that bond?
I could not get enough of Niall and Reese! Humorous banter, sexiness galore and a heart clenching storyline that kept me swiping those pages, hoping I would get closer to finding out what would happen between these two in the end!

Gah! I just finished reading this hug it book, and I am ready to reread it!
Another Great Rock Star Romance By Vivian Lux!

We finally get Niall HEA!!! The British bad boy meets his match in a feisty country girl.

Since no bodily harm was inflicted, I loved how Niall and Reece meet. I loved Reece's spunk and no BS attitude when dealing with Niall and all men in general. She is sassy and knows she can't really act all that feminine in a man dominated industry. To do this she can roll with the punches and also give as good as she gets. However, once she starts being around Niall and accepting that they are more than friends, she starts acting more feminine.

Niall is the Britsh band member who the guys are always teasing about his post upbringing. It was fun to watch the guys interact where taken at face value they are kind of mean to each other, but there is a bond between them that is unbreakable.

I liked many things about this book, the most being that at the basic level the two leads come from different worlds. Though they are thrown together on tour, there is an understanding between them. The music speaks to them and through talking to each other and no secrets, they will get their HEA.

The special thing about a Vivian Lux book..is that she doesnt half ass it! She takes the time to understand what she is writing..to educate herself and pour it into her writing. She never rushes it. Her words are always so real and beautiful. She somehow manages to bring us characters that fit so perfectly together and its impossible to not love them. Its impossible to not love her work.
The Wreckage Series has been one of my favorite series to read! I mean c'mon.. who doesn't love a British rockstar? The heroes are hot..but the heroines are somehow hotter! Shredded exceeded my expectations..and I truly enjoyed reading every word!
Neill and Reese are so hot!! Neill is the hot British rockstar I spoke of and Reese is a roadie with the crew! It was beautiful to see these two come together! The best first kiss ever is in this book! Lots of humor..lots of steam..the perfect mix of the contents of a good read!

I am fangirling all over Wreckage , I love reading about these rockers fall and fall hard. Niall is the bassist for the band he has been a pretty easy going character joking and being the king of naps in the previous books, I loved seeing the hardworking, vulnerable, heartthrob, he definitely had a few hangups especially with trust and keeping secrets, ( ex fiance) to see him work so hard to be such a friend to Reese was refreshing. I am used to the hookup first, but he really worked hard for Reese.
Reese finally, an all around plain jane chick not worried about makeup or hair she was just trying to make it work as a roadie, giving as good as she got. When she finally couldn't stand another moment without taking her and Niall relationship to the next level, Lord have Mercy it was natural and pretty freaking beautiful. Loved Loved these two characters , cant wait for the next one, which I am pretty sure involves someone's sister. I happily read this ARC.

**I received this ARC in exchange for an honest voluntary review** Sometimes you just need a dirty talking gentleman! Loved this book! Reese is a new tour roadie, who's out to prove that this feisty country girl is just one of the guys. Niall is the easy going, posh British bassist for Wreckage, who's had his heart crushed by his ex-fiancee & her undercover gambling addiction. Before a show, Reese ends up saving Niall when a light comes loose & nearly hits him, deeming her his angel (*swoon*). Even with all the tension between them, they try keep it friendly until it gets too hot & they give in. With their relationship, comes the agreement of no secrets but Reese still keeps that little part of her former home life secret, which interferes & causes chaos with Niall's surprise for her. Will Reese fully let him in or is she destined to never truly have a home? Band banter always on point lol. Great characters all around. Fast paced storyline with dual POVs that will suck you in & keep you glued to the pages. And that epilogue hit me so hard in the happy feels with tears! Though I love all of the Wreckage boys, I think this story may be my favorite. Would absolutely recommend! :D

SHREDDED: A Rockstar Romance (Wreckage Book 3) by Vivian Lux is an amazingly wonderful read. I loved this book so much! Book is well written and has a fun and sexy storyline. Shredded features the story of Niall and Reese. These two are so different and yet work so beautifully together. Each have a painful past and are rightfully protective of their badly tattered hearts. Once fate brings them face-to-face it is an impossible struggle to resist the steamy attraction and sizzling chemistry. With charm, sexiness, humor, a few secrets and an inferno of passion this book is an excellent read that I highly recommend for any romance fan. I am posting an honest review after reading an ARC copy of this book.

When Reese literally tumbled into Niall on her first day as a roadie she had no idea how much her life was about to change. Niall was numb after the truth came out about his fiance. He felt alive with Reese. But that scared him, he didn't want to open his heart again and have it broken. Reese was running from her past, never feeling quite good enough when Niall made her feel special. She had just started to trust in him when Niall tried to give her a nice surprise only to open old wounds. With the help of her uncle and an older lady in the tour she realized that home is wherever your special someone is. This is not your typical rock and roll bad boy but a very sweet rocker! Vivian never fails to deliver.

This series is getting better and better. We have come the love the guys of Wreckage. They are the epitome what what and life is like but we also get to see the other side if you will. We watch slowly as a live story blooms and spreads it beautiful wings in this one. Reese and Niall are so opposite it their up bringing but have so much in common. With this story we see the rise and fall and then back ti where they needed to be. This series is fantastic and nd I'm so looking forward to see who is next that we are going to fallen head over heels in love with. 5/5 stars. I voluntarily reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader's Copy ( ARC ).

I'm not a big rock star romance reader or fan but I do love Vivian Lux books and having read the previous books in this series I was eager to see where Vivian took us next. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing where Niall's HEA comes in and Reece is his perfect match. The banter, the sexiness and the drama that ensues keeps you hooked at these two traverse the pitfalls of their past hurts and begin to learn to open their hearts to what can only be a perfect HEA.

I loved this one and is by far my favourite so far in this series...but trust me, they are all good!

Love these guys!

Another member of the band has been taken. The bass player, Niall, has an ex-fiance with a problem. A problem that has her calling him and messing with his head entirely too much. On tour for the first time in awhile, Wreckage has worked hard to get where they are. New crew members, new management, new lead singer. Part of the road crew, Reese is the only female roadie. Her first interaction with the band involves saving Niall's life. He is drawn to the fiesty little gal and soon finds out she has talents hidden. This story is good, love this series. Find out about how a bass player and a roadie become soulmates.

This is the third book of the Wreckage series and my absolute favorite. Niall is the bassist of this band and he’s sexy, gorgeous and has beautiful green eyes that just melted Reese’s heart. They met when she saved his life. The lighting had broken off and she pushed him out of the way before it crashed to the ground. She landed right on top of him and he couldn’t be happier. They were so good together and they were so sweet and loving. Their chemistry was off the charts, I thought my Kindle was going to burst into flames. This story got five stars and I can’t wait to read about Hudson next.

Niall is the bassist for the band wreckage. They and tour now and he gets knock of his feet by Reese literary. After they start to talk and try and be friends they have such tension its hard to be friends. They both have things they would like to keep secret but they both have to face. When they cross the line from being just friends will they be able to face what may keep them apart or will the remain as they are. An emotional and fun and steamy read. Couldn't put it down. Loved every moment. Can't wait to see what's next.

Niall is O M G!!! Swoon worthy

So there were some of typos and technical things so I'll say 4.5 but really the story was just so good it didn't matter. A lighthearted, quick read that was fun and quirky. The boys in this band are perfectly imperfect. I loved the strong yet vulnerable Reese. She and Niall had not just chemistry but a real connection. I believed the care and honest love they have for each other. I can't wait for more Wreakage and I'm hoping the potential tease in the book is what's up and coming (literally and figuratively).

Second time is a charm

When your first love falls out quickly and you don't think you're ever going to love again it meets you in the worst possible way. Well if it wasn't for Reese Niall would be dead. She saved him by tackle. They kept away from each other even though they were attracted to each other. But slowly but surely they started talking and found they lived each other. They were inseparable and learned about each other. But they were definitely from different world's never mind countries. Slowly they learned they needed each other badly.

The Best?

I think this is the best in a series I have been enjoying very much. Can the next book be even better? We can only anticipate that answer. Reese and Niall's relationship was an enjoyable, relatively angst free falling in love, possibly because they spent so much time together being "friends" before becoming physical lovers. I am going to be so sorry to see the end of this series.

Such a good read! Niall and Reese were very good together, and their chemistry was great! The writing flowed well, and the story was excellent. I felt like Reese could have been a little more understanding of Niall's need to understand her. The only thing I would have changed would be a longer story :) I hope to get updates on them from the next book. I can't wait to find out what happens with Hudson!

Niall is still getting over his breakup with his fiancé when Reese literally crashes into his life. The two can't ignore the explosive chemistry between them, and it's hot as Hades. But can he get past the dark secrets of Reese's past? And after his ruined past relationship, can he trust again? I love a good emotional rocker romance, and Shredded has fast become one of my new favorites! I love the Wreckage series, and this one has come out on top! Another fantastic book by Vivian Lux.

Rockstar stories are my favorite type of books and this one did not disappoint. Reese joined as crew for the band Wreckage. When she meets the bassist Niall the attraction is there but she knows she has to say no. Niall was hur by his ex-finance. He knows any relationship is not what he wants. Two people fighting to avoid their feelings. Will they ever give in? I really enjoyed finding out

They were supposed to just be friends after she saved his life. They just couldn't seem to stay that way. Niall is having issues after ending his engagement for reasons we don't know right away. Reece wants to be the best roadie she can be and leave her hometown and family behind. They are fun and funny together. The characters surrounding them add a lot to the story. This is a great series.

This is an awesome rockers romance story with lots of humor, hot rockers, very sassy and smart women, great characters and a splendid finale. This time is the turn to tell the story of sexy bass player Niall and Reese Bailey a new roadie/rigger/tech new with the band. Loved the 3rd. Book

Loved every book in the series so far. Really loved Niall and Reese's story. Each book it the series keeps you glued to the story and makes you want to finish it in one go. Could have gone into more detail with Izzy and what she did to Niall and could have told more on the background with Reese and her father, but other than that the story was good. Now I'm going to read the next book. Really enjoyed the book.

When these two come together fireworks happen literally and figuratively! Want a great read this here is the book for you. Read the previous books of this series but you don't have to. It's just nice to place people.

Fun, sexy, rockstars - I'm loving these boys of Wreckage! Niall the bassist and Reese their female roadie are opposites that are so perfect for each other. I couldn't put this story down. Will they open their hearts or will they let their pasts kill the chemistry they have found? Can't wait for the next book!!!
