Read this with my 4 year old. I've known about pokemon for 20+ years but never knew what it was about. I finally have some insight and I have a feeling I'm going to be learning a lot more because my 4 yer old is obsessed
Wasn't a big fan of most of the Pokemon after the original 150 but this story adaptation was one of the better ones, It reads like 3 distinct but connected episodes and has all the things you would want or expect from a Pokemon story.
