This review is by my kids.

We liked the mysteries in this book. There were so many great pokemon that helped Ash and his friends solve the mysteries and fight. (Then my middle child started listing all the Pokemon in the book and my oldest keep saying five stars over and over again)

Me: I am glad they liked the story :)

Ash Ketchum, Pokémon Detective tells the story about Ash, Misty and Brock helping to solve mysteries, such as reuniting a lost Pokémon, figuring out why a Pokémon is acting strange, or investigate why a Pokémon is acting strange. This book introduces new Pokémon to the series, such as Hoothoot, Spinarak and Stantler. The team is able to successfully assist in solving these mysteries.

This book demonstrates how teamwork makes a difference. The team works with Officer Jenny to assist with reuniting a Stantler with its herd, as well as stopping Pokémon thieves. I like this book because it shows that it doesn’t take much to help out other people. Whether that is helping out your family or friends, or going as far as helping out law enforcement with solving a mystery or crime, you will be appreciated for it. This book should encourage readers to help out wherever and whenever possible.

I have always had a thing for the Pokémon world. I played the games when I was younger, and still play some of the games today, twenty years later. I used to watch the TV show, own a movie, and love the books. I used to read the books all the time as a kid, and have reread some of them. I am reading some of the books for my YouTube channel, Northern Reader. I have a lot of videos coming, and more book reviews coming as well.

This was a pretty meh series of stories. These are the kind of episodes of the show you'd call filler episodes.

This little junior novel was a cute read, and although I never would've read it on my own, when a child asks you to read with them, you just do it!

One team of 5 poke'mon cause lots of mischief but the good poke'mon always win. There are lots of carnival type celebrations including the best sunfloras. My favorite person was one of the winners. (Ash)
