A theme book about all what Christmas can offer. In the center of it all. First to do: do only what you enjoy. When you do like to make pictures? Make the Christmas Cards or mails. Leave other things to other people, friends or family. It is a time to be together, to enjoy together. No stress, enjoy. 🌹🌹🌹

Quote: ..reconnect with your inner child-heartened by joyous events rather than material things.
Quote: Make an appointment for 'Me Time' for something you really enjoy and don't let anything get in the way.

I liked this book a lot. There was fun history and recipes such as Christmas Yule logs, egg nog, wassail, figgy pudding, Christmas cookies and fruitcake.

I also liked suggestions to give to charity and perform random acts of kindness. I thought the suggestion to write a letter to yourself with your wishes for the new year and reflections of the past year was a great idea. Tuck it into the box of decorations and read it next year!

I liked many things about this book. A few quotes I liked: "...reconnect with your inner child-heartened by joyous events rather than material things."

What I didn't like, in Chapter 3 about beating Christmastime stress, the author suggested Black Friday shopping. I personally boycott Black Friday and stay home a rest and relax. I think Black Friday is stressful to the max!
Overall, a fun read minus the Black Friday suggestion.
