It had me interested enough to read all three books in 4 days, but so many things drove me crazy.
Mostly, this author really needs a proofreader!!! It is atrocious all the spelling, grammar & punctuation errors. As an author & publisher, this should not have slipped through the cracks. And it’s not just this series, it’s every single book; multiple series.
Additionally, I think the author could have cut back on some of the unnecessary sex scenes & tough guy self talk, and focused more on completing the story. The final book did such a rush job wrapping it up that there were too many unanswered questions left for the readers. What were the results of the paternity test?? I know she’d already lost the baby, but was it Money’s? Was the other pregnant chick’s baby his?? What happened to the empire after he killed his dad? How did LaLa’s sister handle losing Draco? What happened with LaLa & Silk (& did he off her ex)?
That’s just off the top my head, but I was definitely left feeling unsatisfied & annoyed. They could have cut 50% of the sex scenes so I felt more like I was reading a book instead of a “corn” story.
Gave it 3 stars for holding my interest & my liking LaLa’s journey. Money needs a lot more work, but at least he kinda got himself together. Wish he would have left Antoine alone though… considering dude saved his life & really hadn’t done shit wrong. That’s one of those “manly” things that screams insecurity (which totally contradicts who the author overly tried to make him).
The whole series is struggle love. I can’t root for money and Larissa. She’s been unhappy since day 1 with money, and she’s only with him because she already fell for him. But he showed her who he was early in the relationship. She forgive this man, but won’t forgive her mom. Their relationship was definitely salvageable. But she chose to sever her and her mom’s relationship. I wish she had took heed to her mother’s parting words, because Money already ruined her and she allows it. I chose to stop at 39 percent of book 3 because carina is already dead and for what she did to lala, she didn’t even suffer. And that’s the only death I looked forward to. Money is soft and all talk, he doesn’t protect his family like he should. The bad guys got to mj and his mom twice, then they got to Larissa. The characters are saying one thing, their actions are showing something else, like when Larissa said she’s not weak and she wouldn’t stay with money if she found out he was cheating. Larissa is super weak and definitely stayed with money after catching him in the act along with other red flags. She gave the same exact speech to money 2 times in different words. The whole speech about her leaving if he cheats, and taking her serious…blah blah blah. Lala isn’t leaving him. She gave the speech twice, because after she took him back, she gave him the speech again. She’s weak and pathetic, so bad it’s annoying.
Larissa aka LaLa kidnapped by Fe and Carina! They do some sick shid to her and Money has to get his baby back. Me and his mom are found but when he finally catches Carina it’s nothing nice! Waking up in the hospital and seeing her mom, brother Enzo and sister Sheila has Lala feeling some type of way. Antoine is trying to get some peace with Money. Biz comes home and a wedding is in the air, honey on in Belize, cartel takeover And Antoine catches Fe. Shannice and Silk have to a few trust issues but their relationship is pretty strong. Watch how the team comes together for the finale and a tragedy will occur but love and loyalty prevails.
I know this was supposed to be an urban series, but I felt the author could have given more information about the Family dynamic starting with what happened between Emeri and Sheila and expanded on Biz, Antoine, Fe, Torrio. They were all family so, the reader only knows something went astray but what and why. I also he rushed Larissa character into being a gangster to quickly. I really didn't understand why she killed Chyna, her dude was out there, so it didn't make any sense. But the author did do a great job of wanting the reader to keep going in hopes of finding some of those answers, so that why I gave a two star rating.
I’ve read obituaries and take out menus better than this
The use of “MF” was disgustingly overused. I still don’t know the point of the story there was utterly no substance and the ending was the biggest wtf moment every. Sex and over abundance of cursing for 200 pages I feel like I just read a tubi version of an extended youporn video. If this is the garbage left for our youth to read the future is screwed. Gave one star just to inform others to go watch paint dry during a hurricane for better entertainment because it was two hours of wasted energy. I only finished it so I could leave my opinion.
I’m sad to see them go, honestly. This was a very good book. Messiah and Larissa went through some terrible times but the love they had for each other was what got them through it. I wish like hell tho we could have had more to go off. Like what was the outcome of the inheritance. Wtf happen to that hoe Che? How Silk and Shaniece were doing? So many unanswered questions. This was a good series tho so if you haven’t read it, you won’t be disappointed
Too bad it was Draco! Money was still selfish, self centered and a megalomaniac! It was all about him! He did not comfort Larissa after she was kidnapped, savagely beaten, raped and lost her baby! He was too worried about her being disloyal to him by possibly having feelings for Antione! Somebody, anybody, shoot this idiot! He doesn't deserve a happy ending! And even after Antione saved his life, Money was still STUPID!
I flew through this series, but honestly, I was disappointed with how this ended. I would have loved to actually read Larissa and Money’s vows. Or learn a bit more about Money’s life growing up, and his parents’ strained relationship. It felt so rushed. However, I did enjoy seeing more of Money’s softer and emotional side. It’s always so beautiful when even the least romantic men can turn into completely different people for the women they love.

This book had me going thru it . The issues the emotions..the hot 🥵 spicy scenes 😜. I enjoyed every page. I’m a lil sleep deprived but very worth it . Now i was getting annoyed cause every time one couple fixed an issue the other couple was now having a issue. You know how we all talk to the book or the tv during a certain scene.. yeah that was me lol. Worth the read !!
For it to be the finale book, there are still questions. What did LaLa's mom mean? Did Antoine stay with Enzo and the Italians? Did LaLa ever find out her family was drug dealers? Did Biz join Money or Antoine? What about Shanice and Silk? Did they kill Che? So many unanswered questions.
This was a great series. It’s actually the first one I read by the author. Larissa definitely went through a lot just to be with Money. I know he had major heartache after the attack in Belize but he will bounce back. So glad Silk and Shanice got it together, she was most def wrong for sneaking off with her ex no matter what the reason. Great read
It was a good read I just didn't like how it ended. I was expecting more like if Messiah is the father of Che daughter or Silk and Shanice issues or how about Antoine? I think he redeemed himself and Messiah should cut him some slack. Poor Draco, yeah the ending sucked!
It was very hard for me to finish this series but I wanted to get to the end. I hate leaving bad reviews but Larissa drove me nuts! I had to skip through most of the sex scenes after the first book just to get to the next part I felt like sex was in every chapter. Glad the series is over but I would not recommend this took me days to finish.
This was truly ridiculous, farfetched and unrealistic. Messiah was a over horny eff boy, did not like anything about him. Of course all the females were dumb smh. All the extra people coming out of the wood work, and for no reason, what happened to Angela?? This was truly just ridiculous.
Still didnt find out the reason money wanted his father dead other than greed! What about Brian's death? I guess it was ok with Shanice that he was dead regardless who killed him huh. Didn't really care for Messiah.
So the first two series had me intrigued to see what will happen between the two love birds but I feel like I was was let down because the majority of the book consist of sex scenes. Every other page was filled with it to where I feel as if it lacked dialogue.
So I’m thinking that silk gone kill shanice ex or her ex gone kill her. Plus I think that shanice gone turn on silk anyway when she finds out it was him and messiah who killed her cousin. And what’s gone happen with the brothers. Girl this is toooo gooodddd
Great read I loved all the characters I love the love that all the couples shared it was so real and intense . I would love a spin off or like a Christmas special at the end of the year with all the couples !
I loved this series!!! But it’s could have ended wayyyy better. The way it ended it should be another one after it. That’s the only negative about this series. Other than that it is a page turner. If you like urban erotica books like me, then this is definitely the book for you.
I finished the entire series because I was invested but it took awhile to get through it because it was a little dragged out and repetitive. The story line was good though
I truly struggled to finish this series. It was so amateur that I really got a headache trying to finish it. I really wanted to put the book down but I’m one of the persons that must finish what I started.
I was captivated and mesmerized by Money and Lala unconditional love. They definitely completed each other. I was not expecting the story to end with Draco dying. I hope for book four.
I read the entire series and I have so many unanswered questions. The amount of space in the book filled with the overly explicit sex scenes could have been filled with more back story and useful content.
You know that a series is good when it leaves you wanting more. This series involving Larissa and Money was a roller-coaster ride. Filled with secrets, betrayal and jealousy. This is a good read to add to your collection.
The storyline has so much potential, however I do feel like this was overall poorly written. There are so many grammatical errors. The timeline of things can get confusing and it was kinda corny. Like I said the story line is there so thats what kept my interest
It ended well! Nw! I wish carina got sme torture because she made mi angri because of wht she did to larissa! Fe got it! And che?! Yeh she tried it! 🤦🏾♀️ Draco😭🕊️! Im glad silk and shanice got it together. I enjoyed the book series.
I liked the book, but I wasn’t able to get lost in it like I usually like to do. I think it was too many sex parts and some of the wording they used were unrealistic.
