When I was in high school I occasionally read books but was consumed by other teenage things so I didn't take the time to appreciate a good book on a cloudy day, wrapped up in a blanket on the couch. It wasn't until I received a Kindle for Christmas one year that my world completely flipped upside down. When looking for books I came across the Contemporary Romance genre and was sold and I haven't turned back since.
You can either find my head buried in my Kindle, listening to inspiring heart ripping music or typing away on the computer twisting and turning the lives of my characters while driving my readers crazy with anticipation.
I currently reside in beautiful Colorado Springs where the sun is always shining and there is a trail waiting to be hiked on every corner. I share a lovely and warm home with the love of my life and my five, four-legged children.

Deep down I know I was made for loving Amelia, but despite that, our paths never perfectly crossed. You can love someone with all of your heart, but if the timing is off, it never works out.
I had no idea when I read the synopsis for THE OTHER BROTHER, that this was the book I’ve been anxiously waiting for Meghan Quinn to write. If you’ve read ”My Best Friend’s Ex” and ”Twisted Twosome”, then you have already met our hero, Aaron Walters ‘aka’ Smalls. This guy has intrigued me from the moment he was introduced in the series. He seemed to be such a mystery. The guy is single and gorgeous and women seem to fall all over themselves to be near him but for whatever reason, he never seemed to be the least bit interested. I knew Smalls had a story, but never expected it to be as heartbreaking as it turned out to be.
Aaron didn’t grow up in a loving and nurturing environment when he was a young boy. His mom was addicted to drugs and she ended up giving both of his younger brothers up for adoption when they each were born. Over the years he was able to keep in touch with his brothers but only sporadically and yet enough to know that they were the lucky ones because they were brought up by very loving adoptive parents. Aaron always questioned why his mother didn’t seem to think he deserved to have a shot at a better life like his younger brothers and it left him a little bitter, but years later when he meets Amelia Santos, he finally gets the chance to experience true happiness.
Amelia and Aaron fall head over heels in love and are truly two halves of a whole. For nearly two years their lives are blissful but then Aaron’s old insecurities surface and end up tearing the couple apart. At the time Aaron didn’t consider himself to be worthy of Amelia’s love and feared that if he stayed in the relationship with her, that she would end up passing on once in a lifetime opportunities, and so he pushes her away and winds up breaking Amelia’s heart.
Fast forward three years and we are brought to the present where “Smalls” now co-owns a construction company with his two best friends and he also owns a beautiful two-story house in a cozy neighborhood. He’s the most beloved neighbor on his block because he never hesitates to lend a helping hand wherever he’s needed. He’s in for the shock of his life when he meets his new next-door neighbor, who turns out to be Amelia. Their reunion is anything but warm as Amelia’s heart was nearly obliterated when Aaron walked away from her, and even though it’s been three years, it would seem that she’s never gotten over that heartache.
Amelia left her boyfriend back in Astoria, NY and moved to Binghamton in order to be close to her father who suffers from dementia. If you have ever followed any of my reviews or the kind of books I love, then you will be aware that I am a big Meghan Quinn fan……HUGE, in fact. Three from three books all rated five stars shows her quality. We have met Aaron before as one of the three best friends, Tucker from My Best Friends Ex, Racer from Twisted Twosome and now Aaron (Smalls) from The Other Brother. Any of the above mentioned books can be read as standalones, but Meghan is so awesome you’ll definitely want to read them all. From the other two books Aaron always appeared to be a friendly and sweet giant with a massive heart and I waited in anticipation to finally get to know him in The Other Brother.
The Other Brother is a heartbreakingly beautiful tale of second chance love when you least expect it. Aaron was such a beautiful character and he seriously stole my heart. He hasn’t had the easiest of lives to date; being brought up in a home environment that was less than desirable but he managed to come out the other side relatively unscathed.
Despite the many obstacles Aaron has had to account for, he has worked his butt off to make something of his life which includes running a construction company with his two buddies, but in order to get there he has had to give up an awful lot and that includes the girl who owns his heart.
“I pushed her away to achieve her dreams. Little did I know, breaking up with her would send me in the biggest downward spiral of my life.”
Amelia had to leave the life she knows in the city to return to her hometown and be closer to her father who is living in a nursing home and is unwell. I imagine it would be no easy feat to leave not only your home and job, but to leave your boyfriend of the last eighteen months. However, Amelia knew she had to leave because her father, the man who has helped her and shaped her into the woman she is today, needs her and she has to be there for him.
Aaron and Amelia have a past and once upon a time they envisioned growing old together, but unfortunately luck and circumstances were not on their side and they both walked away with broken hearts.
Fate has other ideas when it comes to this couple and has brought them together once again, though this time as neighbors. Situations become awkward between the two as true heartache and regret sets in. Little do they know that things are about to get even more awkward considering Amelia is in a committed long-distant relationship and with none other than Aaron’s biological brother, not that either of them knew this fact… Awkward much? Which brother will own Amelia’s heart?
“Yes, I was able to pursue my dreams, as he obviously did his. But at what cost? Could we not have done that together? He seems happy for me now, almost as if he is sorry he let me go.”
This was such the perfect five star love story for me. The humor, emotion and many feelings I encountered drew me in and kept me fully engaged thanks to Meghan Quinn’s talent, imagination and humor. The chemistry and intensity between Aaron and Amelia was electrifying, the way they were drawn to each other was epic.
If you are anything like me and love nothing more than delving into a great second-chance love story where the writing flows and is so effortless to read, then definitely check this one out. I adore Meghan Quinn’s writing style and the plots and characters she creates; her stories always have the ability to make me laugh out loud. I really do adore her sense of humor. Make sure to one click this because I have no doubt Aaron will melt hearts around the world.

This book gave me all the feels! Aaron Walters is one of my favorite male characters of all times! He was sweet, loyal, caring, loving and so sexy, I couldn't help but fall in love with him. Amelia was great too! I really liked her, and I understood some of her choices, even though I was always rooting for her and Aaron to be together so sometimes I got impatient with her.
This story is so beautiful. Its about second chances and true love. I really like second chance romances and this one is one of the best in my honest opinion. It touched me deeply, and I wish someday I can find a love as strong and pure as the love Amelia and Aaron share.
Amanda, Amelia's best friend, was amazing! I loved her instantly and I really hope Meghan writes about her someday. She's true gold and I want to know more about her Governor Paul!
Overall this was a a beautiful love story, with its ups and downs, challenges and tears that makes it that more special. This is a book about family and friendships, lost loves that are found again and a reminder that true love always wins. Highly recommend this book to everyone! One of my best reads of 2017.

Meghan Quinn never ceases to amaze me with her heartfelt and beautiful stories. This is why I automatically read her books, most of the time without even having to read the blurb. I always know she will deliver and she has never let me down. In The Other Brother, readers will meet (or be reacquainted with) Smalls. If you have read her last few releases (which I would recommend fully) you will have already met him and gotten a smidgen of his story. Don't worry if you haven't though because you don't need to have read the others to fully enjoy this one. Smalls is a man who, albeit having an outgoing demeanor, has some issues with fully believing in himself. He's a bit insecure, but not in a way that will make readers pity him. But more than this, he is the type of man that has a heart of gold. This is SHOWN in the story and through his actions. I fell immediately in love with him. This is also Amelia's story. She and Smalls were together in the past, but luck wasn't with them at the time so they lost each other. Fast forward three years later and the two find themselves together again but in somewhat uncomfortable circumstances. I mean, how would YOU feel is you moved in next door to your ex?!?!
This my friends, is the basis of this addicting read. It's a second chance love story (notice how I didn't say romance because that does it NO justice). It's a pure love story with all the feels and emotions that made readers fall in love with the romance genre. It has been lost time and time again with the various books put on the shelves in the past couple of years, but it is HERE in THIS BOOK. Meghan presents us with realistic characters with everyday flaws and problems and brings them to life right out of the pages. She put a huge smile on my face, had me completely invested in the outcome, and told their story with heart. I truly loved this book and I can't wait for others to read it and feel it as well.
Now, while this story does touch the heart in a magnificent way, there is still humor in it (which is trademark for the author). You will being rolling around on the floor laughing, maybe even have tears streaming down your face because these characters are HILARIOUS. The things they say are so funny that it's almost side splitting. If you have read her other books you will know what I mean.
So, if you like a book with HUMOR and HEART then this is the book for you. If you like second chance LOVE STORIES that will make your heart beat out of your chest then this is YOUR book. And if your just in the mood to read something that will make you FEEL then this is a must have. I highly recommend it.

Oh gosh! I did not want this book to end! We met Aaron in My Best Friends Ex and Twisted Twosome but this can be read as a standalone. I thought Racer was by far my favorite hero but he will have to move over and make space for Aaron "Smalls" Walters. This guy had me SWOONING! I loved this gorgeous, sexy, fun, emotional, loving man.
This is a second chance romance at its finest. Amelia moves back to her hometown when her father's health takes a turn for the worst. She of course ends up being neighbours with her old boyfriend Aaron. She is unaware that her now long distance relationship boyfriend is Aaron's biological brother. There is a love triangle but there is NO CHEATING despite the fact that when Aaron and Amelia reunite the sparks fly.
Compared to My Best Friends Ex and Twisted Twosome, I thought this book was SUPER sexy. Aaron is well over 6 ft tall and built like a truck, packing a ton of muscles. I loved being in Amelia's head when she was turned on by almost everything Aaron did- including watching his chest bounce when he laughs or watching his throat muscles when he swallows. It sounds ridiculous but the chemistry these two have is just on another level.
The comedy in this book is so well done. The banter between the MCs was flirtatious and witty. Of course add in the scenes with Tucker and Racer and seeing the bromance these three have going on makes this the perfect ROM-COM.
However, this was not just a simple ROM-COM. There was so much depth to this storyline and characters, especially Aaron. Despite how confident and fun he may appear, he grew up his whole life thinking he was second best and not good enough and it was these very insecurities that drive him apart from Amelia. My heart felt for this poor guy. I was rooting for him and I wanted him to get everything he deserved. Seriously, this book had all the FEELS!
If you want a sexy book that will make you laugh, swoon and make your heart swell then please read this book!

Let me start off by saying that I don't like the cover for this book. This is not how I pictured Aaron aka Smalls. Now that I've gotten that off my chest, onto the review. I'll admit that I had my doubts when I first read the synopsis for The Other Brother. I don't like love-triangles whatsoever, especially those involving brothers, but if Meghan Quinn can make me love a book about a girl who falls in love with her best friend's ex, then maybe I can let the love triangle slide...
Letting Amelia Santos go has been Aaron Walters' only regret in life. Now he has a chance at gaining back her trust and proving to her that he's worth a second shot. The only problem? She's dating his brother.
I don't know why I ever went into this book with any doubts. I should be slapped upside my head for doubting Meghan Quinn in the first place. I mean what other author can write a book with my most hated trope, love triangles, and my most loved, second-chances, and somehow make me love it? Meghan Quinn did just that! I could not put this book down and I liked how the flashback moments were seamless added to the story. The flashbacks gutted me. I cried so much because Aaron and Amelia were so happy together and then they weren't.
Oh Aaron Walters, how I love thee, let me count the ways! Aaron is like a big teddy bear. He is so sweet and caring and selfless. Although he may have been foolish to let Amelia go in the first place, I personally thought it was good move because Aaron had to learn to love himself before he could allow himself to let someone in. I was on the fence about Amelia in the beginning but she eventually grew on me. I don't know how she found the will to resist Aaron because my ass would've don—okay let me not finish that thought but I admire her strength considering all that she was going through. The Other Brother was another exceptional read by Meghan Quinn and if she ever does decide to write another book set in this world, I would totally be here for it!

OMG! I loved this SO MUCH! I’ve been waiting for Aaron’s book since the day we were introduced to him in this fabulous world that Meghan Quinn has created! His happily ever after couldn’t have been more perfect for him! Amelia and Aaron were INCREDIBLE together! Their chemistry was electric, the banter between the two was so entertaining! I couldn’t have asked for a better coupling!
With a prologue that brought tears to my eyes, to an epilogue that had me ALL SMILES, everything in between was just absolutely romantic magic! This beautiful, sexy, and humorous second-chance romance captivated me the whole way through. No real review here except to say I loved this series and hope it could go on and on...Maybe with Trey?

If I could make one comment about the hero, Aaron...I really thought he could benefit from some therapy/counseling to deal with his feelings of envy and lack of self-worth. I hated to see him think and react that way, but I could understand why he did. Still, it was sad to read at times. I wanted him to feel proud of himself and his accomplishments and stop living in the past!
And omg, the obsession with Little Debbie snacks by the heroes in this series...is just hilarious!
I've read two series by this talented author (the other being Stroked) and they were among the best things I've read in 2017.
I hope to delve into the rest of Ms. Quinn's complete catalogue soon.

The Other Brother by Meghan Quinn took its toll on me in a few ways; the hero’s childhood and adolescence was hard to come to grips with, the heroine’s plight with her father hit a bit too close to home, and while I was truly happy for these two to reconnect and get together and there was no physical cheating, I did feel like there was emotional cheating which to me is just as bad. I had to really work to finish this book and that’s a first for me from this author and I’m glad I did finish it, but I know this isn’t a book I’ll read again. This was an emotional story on many levels, at times I felt it dragged on and on, there were times where I felt things were rushed, there were issues left unfinished, but I did like these two characters and their connection was undeniable.
Aaron can’t believe when the only woman he has ever loved moves into the house next door to him and the one he is managing for the homeowners. More than that he can’t believe she’s more beautiful than ever or the hate in her eyes he sees when she looks at him. Amelia is stunned to realize that Aaron in her new neighbor and while she intends to steer clear of him after all she has a boyfriend back in the city, but with each passing day she is reminded of why she fell in love with Aaron all those years ago.
I appreciated that they immediately didn’t fall back into a relationship; that Aaron had to work to build trust after breaking Amelia’s heart (and his own). Yes, I think Amelia had every right to be upset even after Aaron explained why he did it because he made a crucial decision about HER life without discussing it with her. It was easy to see that he was regretful, that he never really got over her and that while he wanted her again he wasn’t going to force the issue. He was willing to be her friend and let nature take its course, where I had issue was as Amelia’s feelings for Aaron began to resurface as she began to remember the kind of guy he was back then and the man he’s grown to be, she continued her relationship (albeit long distance) with her boyfriend, Trey who was back in the city working hard. She never told him that her ex-boyfriend was her next door neighbor, she never once mentioned they were working on a volunteer project together, or that she spent time with him and while she complained about him not texting or calling her often enough, she was already distancing herself emotionally from him. Honestly, it was all kinds of messed up especially since Aaron knew Trey but never told her he did.
Aaron had some big time issues stemming from his childhood and his relationship with his mother and it bled over into his relationship before and now with Amelia. I hated that despite how well he has done for himself, he always felt “less than” because of the things his mother would say to him. I applauded when he stood up to her finally, but I also felt like there was unfinished business that he should have really had it out with her once and for all and explained how he’s felt all his life.
Overall, I liked The Other Brother and appreciated that it was an emotional story, but it had too much drama and angst for me to love it.

Oh my god! This book is like a washing machine cycle. Wash, rinse and spin. Repeat. Over and over and over again. Very frustrating reading it.
Aaron and amelia falls in love in the past. Then Aaron breaks up with her because he thinks he holding her back. Then Amelia move on and dating Trey. A circumstance happens that make Amelia comes back and accidently renting a house next to Aaron.
Aaron wants to seduce her again then he realize Amelia dating Trey. So he promise friendship with Amelia. But it proven to be difficult because he still pinning her. So their relationship begins with firendship then seducing then feeling guilty and promising friendship again then seducing again then feeling guilty and...... well you get my meaning.
And it is 400 pages long. My god! I am about to puke for the repeating cycle.

Way to make me FALL IN LOVE with Smalls Meghan Quinn! *Sigh
Tell me he's real! Gah I want him to be oh so effin' real! I'm gonna give you a lot of boob squeezes, swear! ;)
Oh damn! Meghan Quinn just delivered a delicious treat that made my heart pitter patter and my belly ache of too much laughter. The Other Brother is a lighthearted read and despite of all the laughters and the goofy grins I had all throughout my journey, the story was not over the top.As always, this is Meghan and her romcom with a heart. The depth and substance was on point. This is just waaaay more than just a feels good story. You made me cry tears of laughter and love. You did not just made me smile. You made me fall in love. TOB, wrenched my heart not in sadness but with too much love felt between the characters and their journey.
For those who have been following Meghan Quinn's works, Aaron or Smalls as what his friends call him will never be new to you. But for those who haven't, do me a favor, read her works and you can thank me later. Moving on, Aaron... man, all throughout my journey with his other friends, this giant of a man never ceases to amaze me. Now with his story, I am in awe. I fell in love because it's so hard not to. Who would have thought our Smalls got baggage despite his lively and free persona? To read and imagine him fall in love is worth the wait. And who would have thought our Smalls will have not just his second chance at love but also the third?
Oopsie, can't fault a man for loving deeply a woman like Amelia. Although she wasn't mentioned in the other books, Amelia was easy to connect with. I adore her love for her father and her no-whiny attitude. Thank goodness because I have an immediate liking of her character. With the flow of events and a peek on their past, this woman held a special place in my heart. Their chemistry was strong that I was cheering deep inside for their HEA. Each have different personalities but fitted perfectly for each other.
I know the book wasn't meant to make me cry, but I couldn't help it. I admit there are tears that might have slipped because I was so deep into my emotions. But it was a good thing. Clear enough that I did not just enjoy reading because it was fun and made me laugh out loud I was snorting. But, I enjoyed it because it evoked a lot of feelings. Meghan's writing as always was stellar. I was hooked. It was a roller coaster ride and with some sexual tension and sexy moments nearing the end, wow! It was a blast! Meghan saved the best for last.
Overall, I had so much fun reading this book and I totally recommend it. It was sweet, it was swoony, it was moore than I can think of Smalls and Amelia. Honestly, there are so much I wanted to gush about the book and shout to the world about it's goodness but I will leave it up to you and have the full experience. If you are looking for a more than feels good story that will struck you straight in the heart while still making you laugh and will make you fall in love? Then this book is for you. It was well written and I assure you, you will fall in love with Aaron and Amelia just much as I do.
Who needs second chances of love when you can get a third? ;)
... when yout think everything you ever wanted is taken away, sometimes you get a second chance. That second chance is pure luck. It doesn't happen for everyone., only a select few. But that third chance, the one where you think there's no way you'll ever be able to hold her heart in your hands again? I finally have the answer to that question...
Okay, so this is actually the first Meghan Quinn book I have read. I have a way of not starting a series where I should but this series can be read as standalones so whatever. This book started off strong. I flew through the first 50% and then the rest took me forever to finish.
I can't handle too much perfection. Like give me from realistic characters, please. Aaron and his dialogue just made me roll my eyes. Like what man says "contour" ...?
I really wanted to enjoy this since it has been flooded in my GR feed with nothing but 5 stars. Once again, I am the heartless bitch that dislikes the book everyone else seemed to love. But really, for the people who said they cried reading this book, which parts made you cry? Enlighten me. Because unless you are on your period or you're popping estrogen like a champ, I just don't get it.

A second chance romance where the entire situation just seemed too neatly contrived – and not quite believable on many levels. From the book blurb, you would assume correctly that there's a third party involved in somewhat of a triangle.
The second chance at romance between Amelia and Aaron was a slow burner – which was well paced and, in my view, a very positive addition to the storyline. Aaron does a ton of groveling – until he’s stomached all he can. By the time his decision was made, I was more than ready.
It seemed as if all the blame went to Aaron, but I think Amelia bore some on the second go-round situation. Neither Aaron or Amelia were completely honest with each other. And Amelia ran hot and cold – with the appearance of leading Aaron on while proclaiming her love for Trey, her current boyfriend and the guy she lived with who was not always honest with her. Their relationship felt off from the beginning. I just didn’t get that all-in commitment between the two. Trey was certainly not honest with Amelia, but I was happy that the author didn’t take the usual heavily trodden path by having Trey cheating behind Amelia’s back and her walking in on such a situation. Believe me, it felt like that’s where we were headed.
Nope – no cheating by anyone – unless it was of the “heart and soul” variety. And Amelia was indeed guilty of doing just that. But really? I didn't blame her at all. Aaron -- definitely the frontrunner for me from the start.
An overload of angst and drama prevailed. Too much so without a good dose of the good stuff to balance the story. Aaron probably came out on top as far as my favorite character simply because he really came across as fully devoted and in love with Amelia. He did everything in his power to prove himself.
Too quickly wrapped up with issues left unanswered -- what happened with the situation between Aaron and his mother? Were things settled between Trey and Aaron? And what about Amelia’s ailing father?
There were parts I really liked and enjoyed, but I never fell head-over-heels into this story. I wanted to -- badly.
This is a perfect example of one of those coulda, shoulda, woulda scenarios. The potential was certainly there – and the big twist was unique, although you knew going in exactly what was coming down the pike. But the author did a terrific job moving us through the drama.
Once again, I know I’m in the minority with my opinion here. I’m a very picky reader. My recommendation is to proceed at your own risk – you might find your pot of gold at the end.

I love second chance romance stories but when you combine that with funny, witty banter and a hero who has come full circle from a past of pain and hurt, you basically had me from "hello." lol
Meghan Quinn is the queen of wit and humor and she has shown what an amazing author she is by also writing stories from the heart.
Aaron Walters and Amelia dated when they were younger, having such heat and passion and love for each other that you knew that they were meant to be together forever. Until they weren't and Aaron let her go because he didn't want to hold her back... he wanted her to find better.
Amelia is dating Trey, a seemingly great guy, until she receives the dreaded call that her father needs her and she moves back home to Binghamton to help.
But as fate would have it, when she moves home to her temporary place, her neighbor is none other than her ex boyfriend Aaron Walters! OMG! And how he has changed for the better!
You see Aaron wants his girl back... he will settle for friendship if that's what she wants, but he wants to tell her and show her how much he still loves her. And his words, his gentleman-ness, his heart—he has a heart of gold and is the epitome of romantic book boyfriend.
And while Amelia has a boyfriend she loves, she can't resist what her heart wants.
When readers find out the OMG moment with Aaron—just WOW—I was completely blown away. What I loved about him—even more than his heart—was how he finally came to understand his worth and how much he was loved. Aaron may have always thought that he was the forgotten one, but he has always acted and behaved as one of the good guys.
I loved this story, but there was just something about it that made me feel disconnected. I can't even really pinpoint for you what it was but I wanted to LOVE IT and I just didn't—but I did enjoy it immensely.

This book is the third book of this author’s standalone romantic comedies about three best friends that have a construction business together. This is Aarons book and I was not disappointed. I laughed, I cried, I got mad and I held my breath a few times! What an emotional roller coaster this was. All the books have been laugh out loud funny, but they also had an emotional side to them. This one gutted me. My heart hurt for both Aaron and Amelia. Aaron had a terrible childhood and the circumstances of what made him into the man he is today makes him a miracle. He is so sweet, caring, hardworking, he is amazing. How he turned out this way, I repeat, is a miracle.
Aaron has loved only one woman, Amelia. He made the mistake of letting her go because she had dreams and he didn’t want to hold her back. He couldn’t go with her because he felt he had other obligations and she deserved someone that could give her more. Now three years later, Aaron is part owner in the construction business, has bought his own home and doing well for himself. He had no idea that the new neighbor would be the woman that he gave up.
Amelia can’t believe that her beloved father doesn’t recognize her anymore. He has more bad days than good. This disease has robbed him of his memories and Amelia is heartbroken. She has returned back to her hometown to be near her father. She had a life in the city with her job and her boyfriend, but because she needed to be with her father she started over. She has a new job that she loves as a high school counselor and is renting a house that is next door to the man that shattered her world. She loved Aaron with everything she had. True to Meghan Quinn’s style, The Other Brother is another fun, light-hearted, romantic read. We have met Aaron before in the other books My Best Friend Ex and Twisted Twosome which are both awesome standalones about Aaron’s friends Tucker and Racer. Although Aaron’s story is a little more heartbreaking and has a more serious tone to it, you will still get a large dose of fun, angst, sexual tension, and sweet second chance romance.

Aaron’s childhood is sad with poverty and a drunken mother. The only sunshine in Aaron’s life is Amelia who they met at a pizza take out. Aaron shared the last slice of his favorite pizza for Amelia (how sweet is that right?). Aaron and Amelia quickly fell in love and were planning their happily ever after. Unfortunately, right before Amelia went off to college Aaron broke her heart. Three years later, Amelia moves back to town to take care of her ailing father. The last person she expects to see is her new gorgeous next door neighbor Aaron . Aaron is no longer the boy Amelia remembers. He is filled out and full of muscles, oozing sexiness. Aaron has done well for himself. With his determination and hard work Aaron is now co-owner of a construction company. I am a fan of Meghan and I love all her stories. This one is no different – I was hooked from the start. Aaron is a sweet, caring, gentle giant. Even though he broke Amelia’s heart he did it with the very best intentions and he deserves a second chance at happiness. I also adore Amelia. She is loyal, caring and forgiving. She is torn and we all know how hard it is to forget your first love especially when he is hell bent on winning you back. I like the reminiscing part between the Aaron and Amelia’s past – flirty, quirky banters, innocent and super cute. I enjoyed the angst, the passion, the delicious sexual tension and the emotional roller coaster and it is so worth it at the end. Another beautiful second chance romance!

True to Meghan Quinn’s style, The Other Brother is another fun, light-hearted, romantic read. We have met Aaron before in the other books My Best Friend Ex and Twisted Twosome which are both awesome standalones about Aaron’s friends Tucker and Racer. Although Aaron’s story is a little more heartbreaking and has a more serious tone to it, you will still get a large dose of fun, angst, sexual tension, and sweet second chance romance.

Aaron’s childhood is sad with poverty and a drunken mother. The only sunshine in Aaron’s life is Amelia who they met at a pizza take out. Aaron shared the last slice of his favorite pizza for Amelia (how sweet is that right?). Aaron and Amelia quickly fell in love and were planning their happily ever after. Unfortunately, right before Amelia went off to college Aaron broke her heart. Three years later, Amelia moves back to town to take care of her ailing father. The last person she expects to see is her new gorgeous next door neighbor Aaron . Aaron is no longer the boy Amelia remembers. He is filled out and full of muscles, oozing sexiness. Aaron has done well for himself. With his determination and hard work Aaron is now co-owner of a construction company. Aaron has his own reasons for letting the love of his life go way back then, but Aaron thinks he deserves a second chance at winning Amelia’s heart. He always loved Amelia, still does and always will. The only problem is Amelia has moved on – she has a serious boyfriend but not just any guy … he is the biological long lost brother of Aaron. I am a fan of Meghan and I love all her stories. This one is no different – I was hooked from the start. Aaron is a sweet, caring, gentle giant. Even though he broke Amelia’s heart he did it with the very best intentions and he deserves a second chance at happiness. I also adore Amelia. She is loyal, caring and forgiving. She is torn and we all know how hard it is to forget your first love especially when he is hell bent on winning you back. I like the reminiscing part between the Aaron and Amelia’s past – flirty, quirky banters, innocent and super cute. I enjoyed the angst, the passion, the delicious sexual tension and the emotional roller coaster and it is so worth it at the end. Another beautiful second chance romance!

The Other Brother by Meghan Quinn was such a good second chance love story.
The storyline is well written, from the first page I was drawn in and I found myself reading late into the night. I just didn't want to put it down!
Aaron and Amelia's story made me laugh, they made me swoon, they frustrated me on a few occasions and they made me shed a tear or two.
If like me you've read My Best Friend's Ex & Twisted Twosome you'll already be familiar with the sweetheart named Aaron aka "Smalls".
I don't know how to express how much this beautiful, passionate, compassionate, selfless and sexy man touched my heart.
Aaron was willing to put his own happiness aside as long as Amelia was happy. sigh...
Watching Aaron and Amelia slowly reconnect will tug at the heartstrings. At first there's so much pain and anger I didn't think Aaron stood a chance winning his one true love back.
But with time, honest communication and trust these two finally get their second chance at love.

Right off the bat, my heart broke for Aaron and all I wanted was for him to find happiness. Even though he was born and raised in a less than hospitable environment, he’s worked hard to make something of himself. But before being a successful business owner, he had to make sacrifices, including the woman who still own his heart, because he thought he’s weigh her down.
Three years later though, Amelia, the love of his life has moved back to their small town and is his next door neighbor. Because of their painful breakup the two at awkward at best when they’re forced to interact. Which is often because of their close proximity and the fact that they are doing volunteer work together.
As the two of them get to know each other again, the remember why they were so perfect for each other. Though there’s another problem keeping them apart. Amelia has a boyfriend, who happens to be Aaron’s other brother.
I’ve been a big Meghan Quinn fan for a long time now but I hadn’t gotten to reading this story and I’m so happy I picked it up. It was very Old School Meghan with all the heartache, longing and angst and I loved every second of it.
I also enjoyed the performance by both narrators that had me captivated from start to finish.

I was on the fence about giving this story 4-4.5 stars up until the very last words of this book!! As soon as I read the dedication at the end, I balled, recorded the review snippet, and immediately gave this book 5 HUGE stars. I have been waiting for Aaron's journey and backstory since the beginning. Even though I thought his journey would be something different, this journey that I just read was absolutely heart wrenching, beautiful, and soulful. There were some things that I got frustrated with during the journey but the last 20% gutted and ripped my heart into pieces.

Ugh, I wanted to love this book. But I feel like I was struggling to finish it. I enjoyed the plot and the characters but it dragged which was really a downer. I feel like throughout the entire second half of the book I was screaming COME ON ALREADY!

I’m not the biggest fan of love triangles. But Aaron and Amelia were just… couple goals.
I can’t decide which construction worker I loved the most... Tucker? Racer? Aaron? I loved them all and am truly sad I have to say goodbye to them.

a romance with an ex's sibling!!!
I really felt for Aaron... sharing is not caring...
I like to read about Aaron he was a side character in previous books, so it was kind of nice to see him get his happy ending. Glad I am done with this series!

***5 Once In A Lifetime’ Stars***
O M G Smalls!
Well, I guess I really should call him Aaron from now on, even though he’s been Smalls for two books, but seriously!
This man was just….*happy dopey sigh* everything!
And I thank the powers that be for that because, as we all know, the whole love triangle trope isn’t my favorite one, not that I hate it or anything, but I just don’t readily reach for it if given a choice. But, for more reasons than one, I really didn’t have a choice because I wanted Aaron’s story so badly and I loved every word of it. From getting to know Aaron and Amelia to watching as they reconnected and dealt with their past, as well as their present and the ever present current boyfriend. The Other Brother was the perfect of sweet, smexy, humor, drama and a whole lot of heart that makes so difficult to put the book down.
Okay. I’m obviously in full on adoration with Aaron. He’s full on top BBF material, but he falls in the practically perfect side of the spectrum because the man does have his faults and while those faults are in large part due to how he grew up, which had my heart hurting for him, and are for all intents and purposes, selfless, he ain’t perfect, believe me I wanted to reach out and smack some sense into him. But what he is, is a man who didn’t have the perfect childhood, but kept his heart golden and worked really hard to achieve his goals and better himself.
Now with so much “I adore Aaron” going on, it may seem like Amelia got pushed to the background, but that isn’t necessarily the case. She is sassy, snarky, has a bit of a wild streak that only comes out to play in certain situations as well as a bit of a tendency to overreact. But at her core she is driven and has a compassionate heart that cares so deeply that, while it can take a beating, it takes a while for the hurt to go away.
Their journey is a mish mash of love triangle and second chance, but more so second chance than any else, which I was very happy about for obvious reasons. Their journey was about forgiveness, redemption and doing a lot of soul searching about what it meant to be in love with someone vs. loving someone and while that made for a bumpy ride, it was tempered by a sort brutal honesty by both Aaron and Amelia that brought about a clarity and understanding of what broke them apart and opened the door to a new relationship between them. I honestly loved Aaron and Amelia together, the chemistry between them jumped off the page and they just felt right, even with the baggage they were carrying. The big old twist in their relationship is stated in the description, but I really liked how it played out and where they were at in the end.
The Other Brother is simply a swoonfest. There are laugh out loud moments, even when it didn’t revolve around Racer, and sniffly teary eyed moments (not good ones to have whilst reading at work) but all in all this was a well thought out love story. I’m doing the verbal vomiting/gushing/broken record thing, but I can’t help it. As for the supporting cast of characters. I loved catching up with Tucker, Emma, Racer and George and if I didn’t already adore them,I would after experiencing them and the loyalty they have to each other through Aaron’s eyes. And then there is Amanda, Amelia’s BFF, I fucking ADORE this girl and I’m crossing my toes that we will get more of her in the future because she is truly badass!

Have you seen this cover, oh it fits this character to a T! Aaron Walters is one special man indeed. Between the three best friends, Smalls is the most sensitive and wears his heart on his sleeve. He is a very confident man, although he still feels like the underdog compared to his brothers. He is so sweet and caring but he doesn’t see his self worth. Nevertheless, he has set himself up very well, he’s in a nice neighborhood and has renovated his home and it’s not so janky either. Life is looking up for him, and he is achieving so many goals in his life, until his new neighbor arrives.
Amelia, petite, sweet Amelia has come home to attend to her fathers ailing health. I adored her from the beginning. She has this natural familiar feel about her. For such a small woman, she has a huge heart, with tones of compassion. She is devoted to her job and family and supports them through tough times. She knows what heartache feels like and doesn’t want to go down that road again. As time heals all wounds, timing is also a factor in the outcome for this couple. Hopefully with time, Aaron will accept he is just as much of an ardent suitor as Amelia knows he is.

I am so glad I decided to read my first Meghan Quinn book all that time ago. Each book is so unique, but so far they never fail to suck me in and The Other Brother did exactly that. The prologue really sets the stage and had me glued to the pages until bed. I woke up this morning at 5:45am to read, at 7am I said one more chapter then I will shower for work. At 7:45am I said to myself I am at 86% I can finish this before work. At 8:15am I realized that I will definitely be late for work and decided I needed to take a quick shower to get ready. At 8:50 I forced myself in my car to drive to work, where I immediately went into my office to finish the book.
One of the reasons I love Meghan's writing so much is the fact that I can laugh and cry in one chapter, she has the ability to make me feel the same feelings as the characters. Her sense of humor is in line with mine, so I find myself laughing out loud a lot. The dialogue is great and the chemistry is there and believable.
The only complaint I have would be that she made me hungry for carbs and I am on a diet, so that was not appreciated.

Amelia just got on my nerves with her whining and the "who do I love shit" - felt no connection with her and wished she ended up alone.
