The sequel to the very funny picture book, I DON'T WANT TO EAT MY DINNER by talented author-illustrator David Cornish. Every night when dinner was done, Rollo would cry, 'I don't want to go to bed!'
The David Cornish series about little boys who 'don't want to do' the things they should be doing is becoming a firm favourite in our house. I underestimated I Don't Want to Eat My Dinner when we first read it but on reading I Don't Want To Go to Bed, I can see what a winning concept the author/illustrator is onto. The problem of children digging their heels in is an ever-relatable one for parents and we can identify with this funny story to the max. It got my little reader in and he interacted with the story - that's how I judge a good book. It works for us!
