Part-time student, full-time Soul Reaper, Ichigo is one of the chosen few guardians of the afterlife.

Ichigo Kurosaki never asked for the ability to see ghosts—he was born with the gift. When his family is attacked by a Hollow—a malevolent lost soul—Ichigo becomes a Soul Reaper, dedicating his life to protecting the innocent and helping the tortured spirits themselves find peace. Find out why Tite Kubo’s Bleach has become an international manga smash-hit!

Yhwach and his Quincies have been sowing destruction throughout the Soul Society, although the royal palace might prove to be their last stand. The ultra-elite forces of Squad Zero will do whatever it takes to protect the sacred fortress. But when two unstoppable forces meet, what price must the world pay?

Woah - The Almighty has arrived - Can I just say . . . the eyes are creepy😅

Soul Society is crumbling - a new world order is invading the shadows and everything Ichigo knows might be lost forever.

What I loved about this volume is the backstory of the Quincies. (Not all of it but a glimpse.)

Aizen you badass!

The battle of Squad Zero😱 I was biting my nails the whole time. I have 2 omnibus editions left. Full Series Review on the last volume!

I definitely wanna watch the anime to see the expanded scenes, but this is still good. Kinda disappointed that the Visoreds are just nonfactors tho

This book contains the following fights:

Kirio Hikifune, and Tenjirō Kirinji
- His Majesty Yhwach (Q “A” “The Almighty”) versus Captain Ichide Hyosube
- His Majesty Yhwach (Q “A” “The Almighty”) versus Ichigo Kurosaki
- Small Black Monsters versus all Soul Reapers in the Soul Society
- Small Black Monsters versus Sösuke Aizen
- Askin Nakk Le Vaar (Q “D” “The Death Dealing”) versus Grimmjow (A no. 6) and Ichigo Kurosaki
- Jugram Haschmalth (Q “B” “The Balance”) versus Bazz-B (Q “H” “The Heat”)

Note: It was nice to see some old faces, I’m interested to see how the whole Lord Aizen thing works out

the good — the ichibe’e fight, kyoraku using aizen (hilarious), the prospect of a kurotsuchi/kenpachi collab. the bad — deeply stupid deus ex machina (they’re par for the course for shonen manga, but my god these are silly!), endless gobbledygook exposition, the start of yet another boring villain flashback. i don’t look forward to however the (totally unnecessary and tension-free) ishida betrayal plot resolves, but there’s potential for great action and character moments with this group on this stage.

It has come to my attention that Bleach has become predictable, routine and nothing seems to surprise me any more. The final arc story just doesn't impress much. I will still continue to complete the series but to what end, I will know how all will end in the end.

So much has happened in this volume that I don't even know where to begin! Just an amazing volume overall. Good flashbacks in the end and nice fights.

In the anime in 2024 Kubo expanded even more from this and it was even greater but the manga was already very good!

Nice to see some old characters return and have a part to play. A story about swords has turn into a super explainer, but the action still hits.
