5 sexy short stars!

Ok so Heather has a loser ex who cheated because she wasn't ready to give her v card to him. Then she goes to an invite only island to lose it to a stranger with a mask.

There are a lot of things I enjoyed about this novella. She called him daddy, which is hot. Their romance was a bit forbidden and through most of the book they didn't even know who each other was! The writing was so smooth, it flowed well, and I was invested in their happy ever after. There were a couple characters I wouldn't mind having fallen off a cliff, though ;) I look forward to more stories like these in the future.

Forbidden Daddy by Kira Blakely a first class five-star read. This is the first read in Kira’s, Blakely after dark and wow what an amazing read. I want to buy me a ticket to Mystique Island, how do I get a ticket? Heather Henderson is a young woman with her head in the books, when her boyfriend dumps her for not giving up her virginity and finding it elsewhere. When an invitation drops on her doorstep two days before the end of the semester, inviting her to a Halloween Party on Mystique Island, masks required clothing optional. But what will happen when the mask slips and the man beneath is revealed, and revealed to be someone Heather has a secret crush on. What will happen at the end of the weekend?
You need to read this story, I love Kira Blakely and this was so much hotter than her usual stuff, and comes with just a great a story as I have come to expect from her. Well done, on a great story.

I found damn near everything about this book to be RIDICULOUS! The only thing I liked was the 'idea' of Mystique Island. Young virgin breaking the Mystique rules, getting with and staying with an ex-boyfriend's father, calling anyone daddy that's not your daddy, (REALLY hate that) and ending a friendship...all behind some ding-a-ling? WOW, either I am too old or need to get out more LOL

Absolutely amazing romance story. I liked it a lot. It is a older man/younger woman romance. She is his sons ex-girlfriend and they meet again at a romantic event on an island. Sparks fly and a lot of drama takes place. The main characters are well described and develops nicely. The story flows well of the pages and it is captivating. I like it is written in dual POV which gives a lot more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters to the reader. The supporting characters feel a lot immature but they give the last push towards the 5-star review.
A short but really great read. Would have loved to read more about their future.

I read this book as part of an arc program. This is part of a new, darker series by Kira. This book is about a young woman named Heather who is a virgin and when her college boyfriend breaks up with her and cheats because she wouldn't sleep with him, her roommate signs her up for a weekend retreat on a tropical island. Heather goes to the island where everyone is required to wear masks at all time and she meets an older man who she has an instant connection with. The older man calls her Vixen and she calls him Daddy. When he takes her virginity, he says he wants to only see her for the whole weekend and wants her to be his only. They have a great time, until his mask slips and she realizes she knows him. This was a different book from Kira, it was hotter and darker than her other books. I loved the idea of the island and the freedom Heather experienced. Daddy was a strong alpha male who really had a connection to Heather and wanted to keep seeing her, even though he didn't know who she was or what she looked like. Another great one.

Forbidden Daddy, Book 1 of the Forbidden series, was about 21-year-old Heather Henderson and 42-year-old Nicholas Bennett.
When Heather found out that her (ex) boyfriend cheated on her because she wouldn't sleep with him, she broke up with him. Becky, her roommate and (so-called) BFF told her she needed to get over him and that the way to do it was to accept the invitation to Mystique Island, a place where the rich paid for a special event every few months where those who are lucky enough to earn an invitation get to enjoy a weekend of sex with whomever they choose on the island. So the two of them accepted the Halloween invitation.
Nicholas desperately needed time away from work...and his son. Although he loved him, the boy had been wasting his time at school and recklessly spending money left and right. So he accepted his usual invitation to Mystique Island in hopes of drowning out work and getting lost in whatever female he chose to hook up with. There was just one difference to this particular weekend. A mask was required to be worn to all events, as well as during times of intimacy.
After finding each other and spending the weekend together, although they didn't know each other's identity, Nicholas and Heather had both begun to develop feelings for each other. But when his mask slipped during one of their final encounters and Heather recognized him, the weekend began to unravel for everyone and hidden truths started coming to light.
While it had a good beginning, this storyline was a remarkable concept that didn't quite meet its mark because it got caught up going down too many plot paths to stick to one main idea. The angst and drama weren't quite equal to the plot and they both felt a bit too flat.
None of the characters were particularly mature, other than Nicholas. But then again, he didn't have a handle on most of the issues taking place in his life. As the owner of his own business and the father of an adult child, he seemed to be more caught up in his own head space and less able to deal with what was going on around him.
I gave this book a three-star rating, mainly for the effort the author put into writing it.

This is the first book in the Forbidden series by Kira Blakely. This book is a little more edgier than her normal books but I really enjoyed it and I'm hoping she continues with it. Heather is 21 years old and a student at Columbia University. She's also still a virgin which is the reason her POS ex-boyfriend, Jake cheated on her because she wouldn't have sex with him. Her roommate Becky keeps telling her sex is no big deal and is constantly bugging her to lose her v-card. The only man Heather is attracted to right now is someone she definitely can't have - Nicholas Bennett, her cheating ex-boyfriend's Dad. Becky pulls some strings and gets her and Heather an invitation to Mystique Island. The island is having a Halloween Masquerade weekend for adults only and masks must be worn at all times even during sex. Nicholas Bennett is 42 years old and a rich, successful businessman. He's also a single dad to Jake who is a student at Columbia University. He's starting to realize that Jake is spoiled and slacking off in school and it's time for some tough love. To relax Nicholas occasionally goes to Mystique Island to blow off steam. Heather gets to the island and she's nervous when she sees people having sex openly on the beach so she runs off. He follows her and the two of them hit it off right away and she gives herself to him. What happens when her mysterious stranger's mask slips off and she finds out who she's been having so much fun with ?

Worried about her friend Becky takes her on a weekend to Mystique Island. Hoping that Heather will be able to loose her inhibitions to a masked stranger.
Nicholas is a billionaire business man and single father to a college age son who has developed an very entailed personality and is failing college. He gives him and ultimatum, hoping to get him back on tract. With a need to get away he accepts his friends invitation to his resort Mystique Island.
When Nicholas spy's Heather, he has to claim her. Heather is wowed by the man who claims her for the weekend. When his mask slips and she sees just enough to know who he is she doesn't know what to do. She is falling for him. Her best friend turns on her when she confides her. Then her ex finds out.
Nicholas knows what he wants and he wants Heather. He is determined to make her his.
Fast paced and very steamy older man younger women. Great ending. Loved the bonus epilogue for news letter subscribers.

Heather's ex cheats on her because she won't give up her virginity. She goes with her room mate to an invite only masquerade party on a secluded island. She's there to explore herself sexually and lose her virginity. She never expected to find someone to could want long term. Wearing a mask makes it somewhat freeing for her to do what she wouldn't normally do. When she meets a man that's interested in her Heather lets go for the first time in her life. Nicholas has been to these parties before so nothing is surprising to him yet he never thought he'd find a treasure buried there. With the masks in place the are just two strangers exploring a passion they can't contain. However during an encounter his mask slip and Heather sees who she has been sleeping with. Her ex's father! Can Heather and Nicholas have something more away from the island? What will happen if they get found out?

This story was steamy hot. Once I started it I couldn't stop it made me wanted to be on that island. If you haven't read this story yet I highly recommend that you do so now. I can't wait for more by this author she never disappoints.

A short steamy oh my steamy read about a young woman, Heather, who was cheated on by her ex because she wouldn’t put out, gets an invitation to an island so she can finally have her first time with no strings and no one will know who she is. All guests have to wear a mask and one particular guest catches her eye. Little does she know who he is at first and when his mask slips on the second day, she realizes who he is, Nicholas, her ex’s father. Will he run when he finds out it’s Heather ?
Oh my what a great steamy read and Heather & Nicholas what a steamy couple. I enjoyed these two throughout the read, on the island and especially after when they deal with his son. Nicholas, even though he was a billionaire wasn’t a man wh*** running around with a different woman on his arm at any time...loved it. A perfect read before bed or when you want a smile and some steam and the only thing missing for me was finding out what really happened to his ex, his son’s mother (where she is now) and an epilogue.....I would have LOVED to read about these two and more of their future and HEA.

Una historia corta que tiene mitad historia y mitad escenas de sexo.

La verdad es un libro que se lee super rápido y no tiene mucha o nada de historia. Su enfoque es mostrarnos una relación que surge con el sexo y la atracción, antes que nada. No te pierdes de nada si no la lees, es más morbo que nada. Lo que podría rescatar es sin duda una mención que apoya mi pensamiento en cuanto a las relaciones de hombres mayores con mujeres mucho más jóvenes y eso es que en una parte el protagonista menciona que su vida ya es bastante aburrida o que a perdido su "esplendor" y nuestra protagonista viene a él a aportar la vitalidad que le falta.

Ahora por otro lado, quiero mencionar la dichosa isla a la que asiste nuestra protagonista y como desde mi punto de vista, es algún tipo de prostitución. Las mujeres asisten a esta isla a prostituirse con hombres millonarios, que prácticamente las compran a cambio de un lugar paradisiaco con todos los lujos incluidos. A mi el que se quiera dar esta de una experiencia de las mujeres ir a disfrutar de la sexualidad, la verdad que no le quito nada a que sintiera que ellas se les diera este papel.

Kira Blakely does quick and smutty well. Forbidden Daddy is the quick and dirty tale of a (virgin) college girl, scorned by her cheating boyfriend, who joins her roommate/friend for an invite-only, masquerade-themed sexcapade on a private island full of billionaires, in a quest to get rid of her burdensome V-card. Turns out, her ex's father is also at this private party and it's like they have magnetic force fields that draw them towards each other. They make an intense connection, though they are clueless of each other's identity (because of the masks and all), and once they make that inevitable discovery, complications ensue. I read the book in about an hour and it was hot and kept my interest. There was very little character development and the secondary characters (Hannah's friend/roommate and her ex) were sort of despicable, but that added to entertainment value of the story. I give Forbidden Daddy 3 out 5 wine glasses and I'm interested to see more from Kira Blakely After Dark.

She is smart, ambitious and has worked her butt off to get a full scholarship for college. however she is heartbroken since her ex Jake cheated on her becsue she wasn't ready to have sex. her roommate and best friend though has found a solution for Heather. accept the exclusive, hard to get invitation to Mystic Island and lose her v card, have a good weekend and return to college. Things are about to get very real on Mystic Island.

Forbidden Daddy is a quick read from Kira Blakely. I loved every scorching second of this book. I loved that it had a great story right along with the steam. I found myself rooting so hard for the two main characters. I loved the idea and the whole mystery of this story. You do not want to miss this quicky. It will take you away right along with the characters and leave you wanting more stories from Kira Blakely.

Oh Daddy!
This sexy little novella is perfection. The author gives us a romantic and luscious setting called Mystic Island as the backdrop for Heather, the virgin college student and Nicholas, the billionaire (and her ex's father) to meet and do the deed all weekend long. What happens when her ex finds out? Can they take this relationship off the island? Can they have a HEA?
This author knows how to write a novella (some author's don't). Nothing is missing from the storyline. It flowed nicely from scene to scene and kept me engaged throughout the whole story. The characters were well defined even if from only a phone call.
This author has a history of writing top drawer books and this little novella is in that category. What a perfect evening read with a glass or two of wine. Enjoy!

A very well written story that caught me from the first to last chapter. I would have loved an epilogue with a bit about what happened next to them.
There is instant attraction and lots of chemistry. The hot scenes are so well written that you feel you are there in the story. I like that it is written in dual POV because it gives it more to know both thoughts and feelings of the main characters.
I like the main characters a lot and the are well described and develops nicely through the story. The supporting characters Luke and Becky am I not the biggest fan of. They are brats and spoiled. Becky is jealous and Luke is very spoiled and has to learn to stand on his own feet.
I like the story line and the plot. I just love this short and very amazing story.

3.5 "hot sizzling" stars.

This is the first book from new Kira's series, a Blakely's after dark series.
It's a taboo forbidden romance between a virgin and her ex boyfriend's dad, oh yeah this one is a hot steamy one.
It's pretty packed for a short fast pace book. I got the drama, I got the angst, I feel all the hotness, and I like the characters. It all left me wanting more and I can't wait to read the next book.

As for characters, I'm a bit sad I don't feel the connection between Nicholas and Heather, it's like no builds up on their relationship, but in the end they are still a sweet hot couple for me.

If you're looking a fast pace hot book, you need to try this one.

This is a series of short reads set on the Island of Mystique where billionaires and woman are invited to spend three days and two nights on a sex resort that caters for the very rich where you don't have to have sex but everyone else will be. There was plenty of raunchy sex, available but each couple decide to restrict themselves to each other and find a love that is for keeps. I found the storyline unusual and the characters well developed, it was an engaging read from the start.

for me this kinda sucked. The duel pov ruined a lot of it. never had any will they won't they. The sex scenes where ok but gai. Tension sucked. Cos duel pov on a mask even sucks. Why mystery of the mask when we as a read basically know everything.

This was my book club pick and I might drop this book club.

The weird thi g is the most interesting part of the book what comes when the bubble pop was the most limp wristed of endings like wtf. Also best friend was so random. Like one of those self hating women books where magically women hate women. Should have added another friend.. Just not recommend

It's only a weekend, will she be able to move on after?

It was an amazingly sexy little novella. Heather is a young college student who is still a virgin. Her boyfriend broke it off with her when she didn’t want to have sex with him. In an attempt to rid herself of her virginity she accepts her friend's invitation to join her at an island getaway for fun and sex. There she meets Nicholas. Heather and Nicholas have some hot instant chemistry for sure he’s happy to help her be rid of her virginity and the story moves on quickly from there. Lots of hot sex and happy moments are included in their story. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
