It was long-listed for the 2019 PEN/Jacqueline Bograd Weld Award for Biography.

Wonderful literary biography! I was not all that aware of Frick & Yourcenar but got drawn in. A very well written portrait of a shared creative life. The notes were fascinating.

A fascinating book which gives a tribute to Grace Frick, because most of the biographies on Yourcenar neglect her partner !!!!
