This book provided good practice problems and was helpful for reviewing core concepts for the TExES 7–12 exam. The questions were straightforward and useful for building confidence.
However, the actual test included many more abstract and higher-level reasoning questions than what appeared in the book. I recommend using this as one resource, not your only one. I used this book along with Study.com, and the combination helped better prepare me overall.
