Zoey and Hunter had a summer fling 10 years previous, but Hunter departed Scotland to go chase his Hollywood dreams, and Veronica was left with not only a shattered heart, but a permanent part of Hunter in the form of his baby, a baby she has never told Hunter about. When she sees Hunter for the first time since he left, she knows she has to continue to keep her secret, AND not give into the attraction that is hotter than ever. If only Hunter weren't even sexier and more built than before, and if only her body would get with the program and not yearn for Hunter's domination.
I liked seeing Veronica and Hunter get their second chance. The chemistry between them is probably the sexiest of this series, and their scenes are smokin' hot. I do wish their breakup had been detailed a bit more, though, because I still feel a bit in the dark about it. But generally speaking, Submit to Me is a sexy, engaging read.

Like the rest of the series, this book was amazing. Although this book can be read as a stand alone, I strongly recommend reading the entire series in order. All the books are awesome and provide details and familiarity that add to the story. The setting was the same as many of the previous books; Mullardoch Manor in the days leading up to and including Declan and Zoey's wedding. Nothing in this book felt repetitious however, as we're seeing familiar events though new eyes; this book focused on Declan's cousin Veronica and his good friend, the famous actor Hunter Clarke. Unbeknownst to Declan, his friend and his cousin have a past, and each of them were ignorant of the other's association with Declan, so they are both shocked when they see the other at the manor. Both feel that they were hurt by the other, but Hunter and Roni still have a chemistry that creates electricity, and sparks fly whenever they get together. Roni has a big secret and tries to avoid Hunter, but he won't allow it. The author writes extraordinary erotic scenes that are extremely hot and there are many throughout the book. The well-deserved punishment scenes are equally well written. Their story is both heartbreaking and touching, but Roni and Hunter have to find their way past their hurts and pride and into each other's arms for good. When Hunter finds out Roni's secret, however, the plot takes a sharp turn. Read the book to find out what happens in the heart warming conclusion to this compelling story.

This series is definitely providing me another wonderful Reading Rabbit hole with hours of spectacular reading!! I am voluntarily writing this review for this book I received through Booksprouts ARC.
Hunter was invited to his friends Declan's wedding. Hunter needed to make amends to Zoey, Declan's Fiancé. Hunter goes to the manor to make amends. Hunter is a major movie star so the press follow him everywhere so he needed piece and quiet. He hears this voice from the past that straightened his spine it was the voice of the woman that he loved and broke his heart. In fact he had been avoiding certain places in Scotland because maybe he didn't want to see her. Veronica was Declan's cousin so she would definitely at the wedding. Hunter was amazed that Veronica was a sub at the club. The coolness between Veronica and Hunter was almost palpable then Declan finds out that Veronica and Hunter knew each other from years ago.
Hunter went to Veronica room which was next door to his room. Hunter wanted to talk to Veronica and when she pushed him out he told her it was not over. Veronica had a little secret she didn't want Hunter to find out. She was worried that once Hunter finds out Colin their son would be subjected to the press and photographers. Toni runs into Hunter at the club and as much as her body said yes he brain could not get behind it. She was broken hearted once he left and then seeing his picture plastered all over the tabloid always with his costar. It had been so long she didn't want Hunter to know about Colin. Hunter and Roni got together as they could not longer keep themselves apart. Hunter and Roni go to say goodbye to Declan and Zoey.
Declan said something about Roni's son and ask how old he was going to be next birthday. Hunter started doing the math and was surprised and angered. Roni made her escape early so she wouldn't see Hunter. Hunter on the other hand thought maybe his friend knew about Colin. Declan was surprised when he found out the Hunter was Colin's father. Hunter went to meet his son. Even though Roni didn't know he was coming to her home. Will Hunter get to meet his son Colin or will Roni tried to keep him away because she is afraid he will take Colin away from her.

Veronica McGinnis is a cousin to Declan and has come to Mullardoch Manor to attend the wedding of him and Zoey. Being a single mother to almost nine-year-old Colin, working for a paper, and also in her parent’s pub, she has no love life. As a submissive, she is looking forward to being able to spend time at DFC and just let go and enjoy for a few days before going back home to her everyday life.

I believe this is my favorite book of The Dungeon Fantasy Club series so far.
We see again in this book the preparations for Zoey and Duncan's wedding and the actual event itself. Even though I'm not a fan of repeating some scenes from a previous book when it comes to the actual wedding, I understand why the author did this. It's like she wanted to tell the story of each of the people at the celebration and obviously since people have different lives but are in the same place... I would love to see the characters in a setting that's not the wedding, and that's why I liked this book better than the previous ones.
We see Victoria, Duncan's cousin, and Hunter, Duncan's best friend, in this book. Apparently, they knew each other from 10 years ago and things didn't end well between them. A big mess to be totally honest but it gave the story some motivation behind the characters actions that I found mostly believable.
After we get past the wedding and all that, we get to see the development of the characters outside of bed together a little more. I found that I loved the interaction between Hunter and Colin. Even though the book was kind of fast, in my opinion, was well done and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Now, the steamy scenes are really good, to be honest. What I loved the most was the first punishment at the Club and something that involved Victoria, cuffs and her own bed. I know that this last one didn't start like a good scene but OMG it became fire.
I would recommend Anya Summers work, and this one in particular, to those that love single mother stories that didn't tell the fathers they have a son.

This i believe is the first time reading from this author and I’ll be looking for read more. I do t normally read a later book in a series without haveinf some understanding issues but I had no problems following along. It was under 200 pages but it read like a full length with duel POV.
For a summer fling will be more meaningful to Veronica ‘Roni’ then it ment to Hunter. He is a movie star and he was their in their little Scottish village when the two met. Two months they were inseparable until he needed to go back to Los Angeles and promised Roni he will be back. For 10 years Roni didn’t hear a word from Hunter but she was all there was to see including the Pictures that shattered her heart, Hunter on the Scottish beach making out with his costar that took place within weeks of him leaving her. With her heartbroken for the man she still loves she never once tried to contact him to let him know about their son, Roni would rather have her son hate her later in life then let him have a childhood with a camera forced in his face, his life becoming the public’s knowledge and never having real friends, so she kept her baby a secret and became a mother and a father with the help of her loving mother and her difficult father. Her life set until she was invited to her cousin’s Declan wedding when past meets painful present. Veronica and Hunter forced to be around each other and more until she runs.

Veronica had loved loved Hunter for over ten years and the years had not dimmed that love, however as the mother of his son, she had to put Colin first and that meant that she could never become involved with Hunter again. When he first found out he was a father, his anger knew no bounds but his love for Veronica and now his love for his son meant that they would have to find a way to move forward. This was a complex love story between two people who never forgot their first love and hurt that each had carried over the years spent apart. A new beginning would have to be made before pain destroyed the present. This was an emotional story full of drama and despair as the two lovers form a new partnership for the future. I loved reading this book and felt all the pain of lost love together with the happiness for the future.

I loved this book. It was a sweet story of second chances but with all the steam and passion you would expect from Anya Summers.

It's another wonderful story revolving around the members of the DFC. I love this second chance romance between Veronica and Hunter. Veronica is a little bit of a firecracker and when she doesn't cave to Hunter and his ego when they run into each other after years apart. The chemistry between the two is explosive whether they are expressing anger or passion. I love the emotions that Anya Summers is able to provoke with her writing. There are moments of profound joy and sorrow, and by the time you reach the end you feel like everything is right in the world. That is the joy of escaping into this wonderful story. I have loved every addition to this series and I highly recommend all of Anya's books.

Hunter is a movie star who met Roni 10 years ago in Scotland when he was filming a movie. They fell in love, but his career led to the end of their relationship. Ten years later they run into one another at her cousins wedding, she has kept a secret from him this entire time they have a son together, Secrets always have a way of coming out. When Hunter finds out he is livid. He decides to follow her home and meet his son. Things seem to go fairly well until Hunter has to leave to honor some commitments he made to the award shows. When he doesn't return after a short time Roni feels he has once again deserted her. Finally he comes back and asks his son for permission to marry the love of his life.

This book leaves me feeling very tangled. The story itself is quite good, but I just couldn’t bring myself to really like Veronica. I adored Hunter and Colin, but Roni just pushed all my buttons the wrong way. Secret baby has never been my favorite theme in romance. There are some perfectly legitimate reasons why a pregnancy might not be known to the father – Ophelia’s story started out with one of them. But the vindictive feel of why Roni had no intention of Hunter ever knowing, soured any fond feelings I’d started to develop for her character. Even by the end I still didn’t like the way she behaved towards him and I thought the excused she used to justify those actions were flimsy.

The book is well-written and takes us to the pain of impossible love and the struggle through life without the loved one; the joy of having a son and the fear to lose him.
I love how Collin reacts to the great news of having a father and his innocence at asking Santa for him.
If you like erotic romance, this is your book and your series.

'Submit to Me' is a second chance BDSM romance that will make you shake your head and then want to shake some sense into these two. Hunter is another one of the founding members of The Dungeon Fantasy Club, and as such, was invited by Declan to attend. Veronica, aka Ronie, being Declan's cousin and only living relative was invited as well. Of course, Declan has no idea that Hunter, a famous Hollywood actor, even knew his cousin but knows her he did and after ten years they're about to unwittingly come face to face with their past. Their story is not an easy one. It's a continuous misadventure of miscommunication and procrastination with a huge secret lurking in the background but they do eventually get things right. It's a great addition to the series.

This book totally sucks you in. From the beginning, you're trying to figure out what exactly Hunter and Veronica's back story entails. As you read on, you uncover more and more, learning so much about the two individually and together. A few twisty unexpected turns in it kept me on my toes. It included all the yummy BDSM scenes I've come to expect of this series, with all the emotions and character building as well. All combined to make a book I had a very difficult time putting down when life required it. Highly recommend this book!

I absolutely love this series. Each book gets better and better. Hunter is a Hollywood movie star. He is also a Dom and co-founder of the DFC. He heads to Scotland for his friend Declan's wedding. I've read quite a number of this author's books and I have to say that this series is my favorite. The others are also great! If you are looking for an author that knows her way around a story, look no further. The story is Sexy with a capital "S" and you'll see that from page 1. Keep reading and you'll be having to let the dog walk himself so that you can stay inside and keep reading! Anya always has great stories with amazing characters and bed-breaking sex. Goodness this book was emotional. What an outstanding addition to the series. I've said it before and will say it again all books can be read as a stand alone but you won't want to stop with just the one. I'm thoroughly enjoying that at 1 wedding you are
