GENRE - FICTION

I read a fiction book after along time and was glad I did so “ You are the best friend “ is the sequel to “ You are the best wife “.
The Author Ajay K Pandey has written this story straight from his heart as-well, the journey of the loss of his wife, his suffering from depression, trying to fill the void that is left by his wife by trying to do various things, going for the art of living meditation Center and meeting a friend by the name Anisha this book revolves around all of this.
A very simple writer who can explain with ease the situation and feeling one goes through during that kind of phase where one is in search of inner peace and is trying to overcome mental health challenges.

A pretty relaxing read and a highly recommended book for beginners.

Thank you ☺️

You are the Best Friend is a sequel of You are the Best Wife written by Ajay K. Pandey. In the first part, he shared a love story of him and Bhavna. The way they met, got married, and parts away. I read the first book in 2017, and it is that kind of story that touches your heart and left you with tears. Now I finally got the chance to read the second part, which is based on the author's life after the untimely demise of Bhavna.

Ajay was in depression after Bhavna's death. He lost touch with his friends and tries his best to look happy in front of her mother. He lost interest in his job and one day went to Rudraprayag for the Art of Living program. Ajay lost his faith in God after what happened with Bhavna and seeks an answer to life after death.

He befriended Anisha. She is a believer and challenges Ajay's lost beliefs. They share a gentle and soothing connection and relished each other's company. Ajay was struggling to find a publisher for his first book, You are the Best Wife, while Anisha came up with unusual ideas of book promotion. I loved their first attempt at mini launch, which in the author's word turned into a micro one.

Ajay's story is heart touching. One can easily connect with it because his emotions and pain felt real. I love the first book, and I like this one too. After Bhavna, Anisha played a significant role in his life. He mentions that he meet Bhavna's parents and spend time with them, it shows that he values relations even after they lost the person who unites them.

Although I don't like the way Ajay K. Pandey stereotype ladies by stating, "Being a girl, Anisha stood by her dharma. First, she called me to hang out at a place like Dilli Haat. Second, she was late. Both reasons were sufficient to commend her dedication to womanhood." I know a lot of men who never show up on time while being a woman; I am very much disciplined and show up earlier rather than late. Also, a statement by Ajay's doctor felt stupid, "Depression is a problem of the intelligent. Fools never suffer from it."

I cried a lot when I read the first novel, and this book is no exception. I would recommend this fast-paced moving book to everyone.

This book is about Ajay who is in depression after he lost his wife. Everyone around him feels pity for him. He now searches about is there life after death and finds ways to connect with his wife. Ajay who is in depression after losing his wife Bhavna joined Art of Living by Shri Shri Ravishankar in Uttrakhand to overcome his depression. That is where destiny leads him to meet Anisha. Anisha- A sweet, cheerful and straightforward personality, bold, a devotee and a person full of life. The one who is completely opposite to Ajay. Will these opposite poles meet?Everyone wants Ajay to remarry, will he change his decision, will he marry? Find what happens next.

I have read both the novels of this author and was keen on reading this one. I loved the title and cover of the story, It’s impressive. This book is a simple story of a Man fighting with depression. In this story, one will witness lots of emotions, Relationship, friendship, mystery. It’s a sweet and simple story of two people who became best friends. One can easily connect with the story well, The author has left no stone unturned to make this story an interesting read. The plot of the story is simple and lucid. The pace of the story is little slow. I loved the first half of the story. It’s beautiful. The narration of the story is simple, articulate and easy. I loved the way the author has characterize each and every character. Each of them has a unique personality. Be it Arvind Uncle, Anisha, Ajay’s Mom & Dad and Ajay’s character. Each one had their own importance. I loved Anisha’s Character the most. Her bold personality, straightforward nature makes her unique. The tempo of the story is also good. One will witness many emotions. Overall, it’s a sweet story with lots of interesting lines, plot. The hold on language by the author is also good. The first part of the story is great but the later part I felt it’s dragged. The ending was also predictable.

It’s all about friendship. This story teaches so many things. one must read.

Overall, It’s a good teenage read. A witty, sweet story.

" When you love, you do not replace the person, you always add a new relationship. That is the beauty of love. "
.
"You Are The Best Friend" by Ajay K Pandey is the journey of an Author himself. How he has faced depression & eventually find inner peace. Book talks about the mental health issue with few tips that doctor suggested to the Author. Author also talks about the difficult phase when he faced after his beloved wife passed away. During that stage he joined the " Art Of living" programme to find peace. And at that progarmme he meet Anisha. Who was Anisha ? How he helped him in his journey? And how she showed him the inner light? How Anisha's friendship helped him to recover from the dark days? To know more read this beautifulll book.
.
During reading i felt relatable with the Author's journey. The part where Author tried to google search life after death, finding ppl who can connect you with death ppl. Taking help of books to divert the mind. These things are much relatable to me. I did the same when my beloved father passed away. I gone into the same phase. Only Books helped me to recover from the worst tragedy.
.
I didn't read his first book yet Author here mentioned the whole journey that he faced for the publication of his 1st book. After reading this book. Soon I'm gonna read that National best seller book, When I'll feel emotionally strong to pick that book up.
.
I closed the book for the moment at the end of the chapter where author shared his pink blanket to Anisha. That part was so emotional to absoarb. I literary cried at the mention of how Author donated the cloths of his beloved wife, how he cried that time. It broke my heart. Many parts of the book are relatable to me. It felt like I was reading my own story.
.
I heartly thankful to the Author for providing me a review copy & for sharing his story with us. After reading I felt deeply that I'm not alone many ppl has gone through the same pain when they lost their love ones. And find new hope for life. It gives me courage.

You are the best friend written by Ajay K Pandey is simple and lovely story of Ajay and Anisha. His previous books were also very good. This beautiful book is a true love story and a sequel of his previous book You are the best wife. Story revolves around its protagonist Ajay who is in depression after loosing his wife Bhavna. He joined Art of Living by Shri Shri Ravishanker in Uttrakhand to overcome his depression where destiny lead him to meet Anisha. Anisha who is a straightforward girl, lives full of her life and love the God most whereas Ajay hates the God most. These two charcters of the book who are poles apart met each other, will Ajay be able to come out of his depression and find his Best friend in Anisha ?
Author has portrayed the story beautifully and left no stone unturned to keep the story engrossing. I loved the character of Anisha very much and some part of the book were too emotional to handle my emotions.

"Everyone has a friend during every stage of life. But only the lucky ones have the same friend in all stages of life"

As mentioned before, I got the book via Amazon without even reading the synopsis. The cover art and the title touched my heart. That is exactly where I felt waves of emotions about the book. If I put things together in a very simple way, I am so glad I read it.

The book is filled with human emotions, that you, and me all go through. The pain of loss and being lost in two worlds of the living and the dead. Ajay, a 30 ish IT officer at an IT company who looses his wife Bhavana, 2 years back. Ajay is totally depressed and no amount of medication can not put him back to his normal self. People, family, friends and colleagues pity him, which makes him more depressed. He spends a very reserved life until, one day he meets Anisha, a young and beautiful girl in her late 20's.

I pitied Ajay as all the other characters in the story. A man loves her wife shows the heart warming nature of the character. But I must state that the ray of sunshine in the story, Anisha is my favorite character. She brings hope, light and love to Ajay's barren and isolated life. The way she reaches and touches the deepest point of Ajay's heart is mesmerizing. I was totally touched by the story and fell in love with almost all the characters.

Ajay K. Pandey speaks not only about the emotions of the humans, but also touches the deepest part of the hearts of the reader. Such an amazing and wonderful story.

If you have not read this book, I think you definitely should.

My Rating

(5/5) Tremendous, I like it very much

Bestselling author Ajay Pandey takes you on another emotional rollercoaster with his scintillating new book that will reaffirm your faith in life.

Cover: The front cover of the book is eye soothing and one of the most beautiful cover I’ve seen till date. It’s a treat to look at and the cover goes with theme of the book aptly.
Title: Title of the book (along with the sub title) is not only catching but this title has well enough capability to make the reader pick this book up. Especially when the sub title is stating that ‘A True Love Story’, then what else can a reader ask for? As the title is tempting and perfectly depicting the substance of the book, hence I consider the appropriate.
Language & narration: Language of the book is lucid and simple enough to comprehend any kind of reader. Author has directly touched the chord of the reader’s heart by narrating in simple way flawlessly. Uses of a little hindi language at places are there. Special part is hindi words (only a few), food names and other noticeable parts are written in italic font to make it look different while reading and some places, words has been quoted in inverted comma (‘) to emphasize on its significance. In conversation and while defining even the deepest of situation, author’s sense of humor (sarcastic humor precisely) are commendable; because that’s how author has described the depth of the situation in a light way effortlessly. Narrating style of the author is evidently touching and it will make the reader take along with the journey that the book contains. Tight grip and smoothly flowing narration is one of the top positive points of the book. Author has simply narrated the incidents in order with no exaggeration anywhere and keeping the substance of every chapter clean and content. Each chapter and in between paragraph breaks are finished in a captivating way. It’d be better to say that author has made the journey of the book visible for readers and that why, there’s no place where lack of grip can be noticed.
Plot: This is a ‘Non-fiction’ story and as it is the journey of the author himself, so crafting of plot means I can say that author has presented those incidents one after another in a connecting way thoughtfully, that will hook the reader up till the very end of the book.
Setting: Setting of the journey is in Delhi (Noida) actually, and as it will be moving forward, then Rudraprayag (Uttarakhand), Gurgaon (Karnal), a glimpse of Raipur will be there too at a time.
Characterization: Here, coming to the characterization, as all of the characters are real, so the credit will be entirely going to the author for portraying them perfectly to their natural self and especially showing the shades of their characteristics appropriately. When someone portrays a fictional character, then the author can put own layer of imagination into them, but keeping the real of self of a character intact and presenting them as they are, while writing a real life journey, is quite tough indeed, and the author has done this fluently till the end. Keeping aside the two protagonists of this book (Ajay- the author himself, Anisha), there are some other characters mentioned who are equally important as per the significance of the book. Let’s a have an overall look at the characters mentioned here (I am keeping aside the protagonists, Bhavna, and their parents) -Rahul, *Tanya, Ajay’s Boss, Sanju, Dr. Chauhan, Arvind Uncle, Vinod (Guruji), Manisha, Vicky, *Mona. (*named characters are not directly involved in the journey).
Theme: Friendship, love, true bonding, family, relationship, inspirational, motivational, struggle & overcoming.
Story in a nutshell: This is not a story but a real life journey of the author himself (Ajay) and preciously to be considered as the sequel of his debut book “You Are The Best Wife”. After facing the most unfortunate tragedy of his life, when Ajay had gone into depression and had actually nothing to live for (losing his beloved Wife Bhavna actually snatched away everything and left Ajay void, broken and shattered mentally), it’s only then when he blamed God for this and developed a sheer hatred for God. He started hating God for leaving him empty and snatching away the meaning, the breathing, the soul of his life, Bhavna, and he even didn’t believe in God actually after that particular incident. With a shattered heart full of emptiness and hatred for God, he had only one purpose to achieve and that is to make his wife immortal by writing a book on her; because he didn’t want to let God win who tried to delete the most beautiful chapter of his life. Ajay continued to live in his shell, only then fate made his path crossed with Anisha. She was a girl full of life & enthusiasm and with utmost belief in God and actually a believer in ‘Life’. After a few interactions, when realized that Ajay is such a person who actually hates God, that made her curious about him with some contradictory thoughts too. After some irreversible efforts, when she got to know the actual reason behind this and the sole purpose of Ajay’s life, something touched her heart and did grow immense respect for Ajay. What happened after that and how did Ajay overcame the mental struggles and found the actual way of living life and the meaning of life and what role Anisha played in his life and most importantly how did Ajay’s life change when Anisha shared her part of life with Ajay is the rest of the story.
My Verdict: There’s an old saying that states- “A Friend in need is a Friend indeed”. Well, frankly speaking a life is not actually a LIFE without FRIENDS, but if you get even a single “Friend” who is there to stand by you every time in your need, in every situation and in every phase in your life, then you are truly blessed. I found the actual meaning of “Friendship” in this book and if you ask me, there is nothing better gift than a “Friend for Life” itself. Friend like Anisha is the hardest to found and actually the rarest of all. This book is solely dedicated to the eternal bond of Friendship that Ajay & Anisha shared. How much struggle it takes to help a broken man (who has lost his meaning in life) to bring back into mainstream and to let his heart breathe again, is something deserve the utmost respect and I respect Anisha from the core of my heart. Friend like Anisha and strong genuine human being Ajay are the inspiration for all around the globe. This book depicts the mental struggle of a husband, his dilemma, his inner fight with the memories that was crushing him every second from inside, the love and care of a mother for her son who was not the person as before, the crying heart of a mother for the love her daughter in law, the concerned heart of a father for his son who actually confined himself into his own shell, the mother with the purest heart and golden soul who, considers her son in low even more than her own son and trying hard to keep cope up with the loss of her own daughter, she tries to find solace for her son (in law) and to show him the actual valuable meaning of love and relationship, a void heart of a husband who is trying to believe that his beloved wife is every moment with him, to keep everything belonged to her to own self, and most importantly, this is a journey of friendship, that has set an example by Anisha of what a Friend can actually do for a Friend. The purest soul Bhavna is the main reason that made whatever Ajay is today and the constant Friendship and support of Anisha kept Ajay’s life going the way it should flow. I cried like while reading (actually living) some particular phase of the life of the author, and I won’t be able to express enough my happiness after reaching the end. Author has actually portrayed the basic way of living and in such a way that will help everyone to find solace in life. The character of Arvind Uncle is something I won’t ever forget in my entire life, his personality touched me to the core, and people like him are inspiration for all genres. The words from the author are directly from heart and that’s why it touches the reader’s heart directly. I myself don’t know how much time I cried and I was literally sobbing at a time with having the book in my hand, and I never tried to control my tears from flowing, because the more I cried, the more I felt light from heart.
This motivational journey of Ajay K Pandey and the divine aura of lifetime Friendship with Anisha pierced though my heart with each and every word and this is book the best book to understand Friendship, relationship, family bonding, and to find the way of seeing life in a different way. This book teaches us that only two things can make a person happy; acceptance and forgiveness, to live life, we have to believe in life. There are plenty of inspirational messages that I found to be considered as life changing indeed. Respect & thanks to the author Ajay K Pandey for sharing his life with us and for inspiring everyone while moving forward in the path of life. Will be eagerly looking forward to go through his next project surely.
Recommendation: I will definitely recommend this lovely motivational & inspirational book to each and everyone around me. This book is highly recommended for people who believe in true friendship, love; it will reaffirm their belief in life and relationships.

Before I would like to begin, I'm mentioning it beforehand that my review is going to be long & negative. Yes, you heard it right, a 'negative' review.

Often life pushes us in situations where we lose everything & circumstances are so severe that we tend to lose the only person whom we love or care the most. It clouds one's conscience & devastates them completely. The amount of humor & pain incorporated in the book is worth commenting upon. It has been balanced throughout the book.

However, I'm going to mention the following points for which I've given a negative rating. Also, due to the conclusion given in the book, I'm giving it 1 star. Else, my contemplation would have given the book purely the least rating it can deserve.

Cover is bad. It has been a total letdown for me. As it portrays live humans in the book. I'm not against it. It's just I'm not a huge fan of the characters who have been portrayed on the book cover. Additionally, when it comes to maintaining equilibrium alongside story, it becomes a total disaster. It doesn't go with the story in hand. On the contrary, the cover should have been something else. The actual cover is far different from what is should have been, considering the way the plot has been portrayed in the story. Because the book talks about pain & separation, I feel the cover could have been designed much better, with careful discernation.

Title is good. Aptly selected with the plot.
Theme consists of love, sadness, friendship, family, true love, unrequited love, betrayal, pain & many aspects infused together.

Coming to the main point of the review, too many vulgar scene has been presented, which kills the mood required to read it.
It seems as though, the term 'sex' has been highlighted over here very effectively & efficiently. I feel the main objective of the book is to inculcate sex among the readers; to substantiate the fact that sex is an inevitable part of our life, sex is a necessity when it comes to relationships, sex forms the basis of love & whatsoever.
And the fun yet surprising part is, the female character doesn't object or protest against the objectification of women on the basis of carnal pleasures or lust. It shows objectification of women, & portrays them in the form of lust in many instances. It may work in Indian culture, certainly upto a great extent. But it goes against the belief of many individuals. So it was necessary to mention these points. The poor portrayal or highlighted words like 'boobs' or 'sex' & the persuasion of them in a careless sense is what really ticked me off & hence the negative review.
So I wouldn't recommend it for all age groups.

There're no good quotes. No facts or highlights or anything which helps a reader gain some insight or knowledge of life. Only the sense of humour inculcated at some stages along with the painful climax encouraged me to give an overall rating of 1.

Every particular scene has been explained in an over dramatic fashion, it keeps prolonging. It felt totally hopeless, useless & meaningless. This shows how much amount of immature writing has been employed in the book. I got this book based on the overhyped market researches which going on everywhere these days, also the newsletters which seem to add further 'masala' to the fake content & stuffs very dubiously.

However, at time when I was reading it, I regretted having bought this book. It personifies males as perverted species & with dejection personifies women as shameful objects of lust. At times I just regretted my decision to buy this book. However, I sticked to the end.

Writing is poor, even the choice of words haven't been selected aptly. Abrupt usage of vocabulary & no good ethical knowledge of grammar makes it even more worse. It has so many typesetting, printing, editing mistakes. Even the grammar is totally bad.
And of course, undoubtedly monotonous at many times.
Nothing unique about the story. Just a common bollywood cliché (love story romance types). Not recommended to all the readers.

My advice : there're many wonderful legendary books out there. Basically, they're lost in the chaos & depths of time. Kindly read them & stay away from these sophomore & sophisticated (irony) books.

A subtle and light-hearted book that quietly breaks your heart. It gives you a reality check, that not every love story ends the way we hope, even when it feels too good to fall apart.(The book was gifted by my best friend)
Personally, I loved it .

There is one particular quote that has quite stuck with me- "Today, you love your mom, tomorrow you will love your partner. When you love, you do not replace the person, you always add a new relationship. That is the beauty of love."

'You are the best friend’, depicts a tale of pure friendship and is so beautifully selfless. It’s a tale of love and living, after loss. It reaffirms faith in life. His books leave us with feeling of multitude of emotions. No amount of words or any kind of review can do justice to his books. They are straight from the author’s heart and can clearly be felt, leaving the readers a profound effect.

I would happily go back and read the book again and again and recommend to everyone. It's not just tale of love or friendship. It shows you how quality of life is what matters and not the quantity, teaching you the value of every relation.

“Carry happy memories with you. Don’t live in the past with the bad moments. You may never know the value of a moment before it becomes a memory. – Anisha ”

Unquestionably brilliant.

This is not just a book. This is the love of a best wife’s best husband, who wants to bring his wife back into this world and meet different souls. I feel like I am lost for words while writing the review for such a book. I apologize to the author in advance, if I am making any mistake in rationalizing it. The finger shall be pointed at you as well, because you are the one who wrote such a book, that forbids me to think of anything, but the story itself. I couldn’t note down any points while reading this book. The reader in me always craves for books like this. I thank the author from the core of my being, for penning his story. I couldn’t rate this book either, because such stories cannot be rated. They are way beyond numbers. I think this very statement sums up my views on this book.

Sometime you meet someone and its too clear that the two of you, on some level belong together as lovers or as a friend or as a family or something different. You just work, whether you understand one another or you are in luv. You meet this people throughout your life, out of nowhere, under the strangest circumstances and they help you feel alive. i don't know if that makes me believe in coincidence, or fate, sheer blind luck, but it definitely makes me believe in something.

The best part of the book is its tittle which is very much catchy.
Overall, best book.Must read.#keepflying #keepreading

After two years of his wife's death, Ajay could not leave the old memories of Bhawna. He became depressed. Then he joined AOL in Rudraprayag, where he met Anisha - his best friend. She teaches him to live and to be happy.
There was one incident that got me emotional. His mother wanted her son to leave those old memories and move forward. His mother wanted to give away Bhawna's clothes to an orphanage. But he denied and wanted to take care of those memories. His mother was determined and didn't listen her son but at the end, wasn't able to give that one pink shawl that Bhavna gave her on her birthday.
After some time, Anisha became good friend of Ajay and that made him write the story on his wife -'You were the best wife'.
I liked the emotional story of this book. I read this book in one sitting.

So raw and straight from the heart, you can feel every word. There’s something so soft and ethereal about it, like it stays with you even after you’re done.
Loved every bit of it.

This is my third book by the author and I couldn't take off my eyes before finishing this book. From the very beginning to the last page... I'm completely into the book without any other thought.

I know how it feels without the person you love but I can only imagine how painful it could be when you have to live without your life partner. This book speaks for the pain and struggle of our protagonist after the demise of his wife. His emotions in book made me cry many times.

Then comes a friend who not only helped him to accept the truth but also helped him to live his life again.
Read this book to find how she became an important part of his life and direct him to reach another level of life.

I love the small details author worked on to convey the important messages like re marriage, mental trauma, and healing.
As again, I'm s big fan of writing style of the author... very simple language, beautiful story plot, and amazing character development.

I've gotten so many favourite parts from my book and I highly recommend it to be read by everyone.

Book Name : You are the Best Friend.
Author's Name: Ajay.K.Pandey
No. of pages : 221

This is Ajay. K. Pandey's first book I read. His books will take you to the emotional rollercoaster ride which makes everyone cry at the end. Everyone starts longing for that kind of best friend in this book. Yeah! I too longed for it.

Ajay loves Bhavna. And Bhavana loves Ajay too. They both got married and started a happy life. Bhavna becomes everything for Ajay and viceversa too. But Storm hit their happy life. Bhavna died of a disease. Ajay's heart broken. He can't even imagine a life without Bhavna. He can't concentrate on anything. But for bread and butter, he goes for a job.
He thinks god has made a huge mistake by taking his Bhavna. So he lost his trust with god.

Seeing his depression, manager suggests him to go to 'Art of Living'. Art of Living is a place where everyone heals. Ajay, a kind hearted soul helps an old woman shivering from cold by giving women's shawl.Seeing this,Anisha got a good impression of Ajay. And she started knowing about him that he loses his trust with god. How can a person loses trust in god? Curiosity arises her mind and Ajay becomes her case study. After a few meetings and talks with Ajay, Anisha understands that he lost his love and is so depressed and also he wrote a book about her.
Anisha wants Ajay to come out of depression and she uses his book interest as a weapon. She encouraged him to publish his book and made many marketing strategies to make it a bestseller. She strongly believes that this book and fame will definitely Heal him. So she bought many copies of his book and gifted her friends and used many strategies for success. And Yes! She made it a bestseller one and also Ajay healed and started his career as Author. He starts writing another book and his journey continues…

Everyone will long to have a friend like Anisha. Definitely Anisha " You are the best Friend".

Everyone has a friend during every stage of life. But only the lucky ones have the same friend in all stages of life" As mentioned before, I got the book via Amazon without even reading the synopsis. My Rating (5/5) Tremendous, I like it very much

The book is the real-life story of Author Ajay Kumar Pandey who writes about such beautiful real stories of married couples because love always finds its way whether an arranged marriage or the love. The Book is the story of two people who are poles apart but eventually find their way to each other.

The lines of the book that I found most meaningful were – “when you love, you don’t replace the person, you add a new relationship”. After the demises of His Wife, Ajay went into depression for few years, working as a machine with no enthusiasm in Life. But life moves on and you too have to. You meet people, you again develop feelings for them and there is nothing wrong with it.

He met a girl in ‘Art of Living’ Camp and they become friends. From taking him out of depression, to help him in his first book, Anisha was Filling up his life again with colors. When Ajay started having feelings for Anisha, he felt the guilt of cheating on his wife whom he loved so much. But her Mother In law got him out of that guilt and ask him to start a new inning of life with Anisha.

This is how Life is, it moves on with or without people. New people keep joining you in this journey and it keeps ongoing. This Book was one of its kind because no one dares to write their real-life stories. There must have been talks in society as to how he replaced his wife, or how she married a widower. But if you both are happy and your families are happy that’s all it matters? Society fades in the background after a while.

These Kinds of Stories give youa new perceptive on love and relationships.

The characters in Ajay Pandey's "You Are the Best Wife" are exceptionally well-developed and captivating. The protagonist, Ajay, is a relatable and endearing character. His love for his wife Bhavna is genuine, and it is evident in his every action. The way he remembers even the smallest details of their life together and cherishes them is heartwarming.

Bhavna, on the other hand, is a beautiful character that oozes grace and kindness. She is the perfect embodiment of love, patience, and strength. The reader can't help but admire her, even more so because her character is based on a real person.

Anisha, Ajay's best friend, is another intriguing character. Her unwavering support and honesty make her the ideal friend, and her quirks make her all the more lovable. Her character is a perfect example of how true friends can have a significant impact on one's life.

The characters' relationships are intricately woven together, creating an emotional and touching story that makes the reader feel invested in their lives. The author's writing beautifully captures the essence of their personalities, making them come alive in the reader's imagination.

Overall, the characters in "You Are the Best Wife" are a testament to the author's ability to create compelling and relatable characters that leave a lasting impact on the reader

First of all I would like to congratulate Ajay sir for having the strength and courage to talk about the most vulnerable moments of his life.

Coming back to the narrative, the story progresses with a steady pace from one's denial to acceptance. Ajay sir has beautifully expressed and explained his inner demons while he was undergoing treatment for clinical depression. And Anisha is someone I say is the truest friend who will stand by you when u don't even ask but she would know u need them. Just like the author mentioned "good friends say we are with you but the best friend says I am with you ".
My biggest take away from this book is NEVER SURRENDER. There are few words that would force u to look at life in a different perspective. I am going to mention a few words from the book that struck me and will stay with me forever, "Hate and love are nothing but our experiences in life. When our experience is good we start loving the reason and when they are bad of course we start hating the one responsible for it. We should not hate the person, we should hate the experience."

This book is amazing especially for people who are not into mussy romance but love reading about human emotions.
But I would recommend everyone to read "You are the best Wife" before this one as it will make you understand Ajay's pain and loss much better.

Simple language and easy to connect. In India, where we judge each other too much and never let the other person try for what he/she needs. This real story inspires you to go beyond that. Keep all thoughts aside and listen to the heart.

Good book. If I read it earlier in my life, I would have definitely given it five stars. I like the author's sense of humor. This book kept me hooked onto it one whole night. I completed it in two days time. Very well written.

Here's why I didn't give two more stars.

- Its very obvious that he likes Anisha - when he mentions her appearance with such awe in AOL. I got that he likes her too when she came to him when he was sitting on the rock. Things like "beautiful friend", "do you have a boyfriend", "oh, so you're married " are all giveaways that they both like each other more than friends. There was no suspense to me here. Meanwhile the author struggles to understand that he loves her and she loves him too.
- He praises her appearance all along the book. We get it, you love her, she's beautiful in your eyes. She spends money and effort to look that beautiful.
- The term "friends" was used, throughout. But this definitely is not just "friendship".
