After a rough year involving a serious car accident, painful recovery and broken engagement, Dakota Moore moves to Cherry Lake to rebuild her life. To embrace her new community, she volunteers to coordinate the annual Christmas tree gala.
Adam Clements has come home to help his mother run the family business while his father recovers from a heart attack. For the last decade, he's been a high-flying soccer player, enjoying the life that comes with his popularity. But something is missing and he can't put his finger on it... until he returns to Cherry Lake and remembers the feeling of home.
Adam tries to keep his distance because he knows he'll be leaving, but he can't deny his attraction to Dakota. With the countdown to Christmas on, can Dakota convince Adam that his home is right there in Cherry Lake, with her?
I swear I was born with a book in my hand and that is how I spent most of my childhood. That was fine until I got older and the voices in my head demanded to be heard and I started to write. The voices are no quieter but there are less of them.
After experiencing life changing events, people have the choice of hiding away from them or facing them head on. Dakota Moore has had just such a traumatic series of events and she’s determined to rebuild her life once more, facing life head on. She’s moved to Cherry Lake to start a new life for herself, eager to make the most of opportunities and even volunteering to organise the community’s annual Christmas tree gala.
Adam Clements has suffered injuries which could curtail his career as a top pro-soccer player but has returned home to help his Mum run the family business whilst his Dad recovers from a heart attack. He’s also re-evaluating his life and options . . . Neither Dakota nor Adam are looking for a relationship but fate has other plans for these two, including adding some Christmas sparkle to both their lives!
This is an easy paced romance, one that involves a close-knit community and two people getting to know each other in a realistic time frame. The author’s descriptions are evocative and, at times, I could really imagine the beautiful ornaments that Dakota created. Cody is a brilliant secondary character who has a significant impact on events. It is a heart-warming, festive romance, delightful to escape into - especially at this time of year! It is the first in a new series and I can’t wait to read future stories by this author or in this series.
I requested and received a copy of this novel, via NetGalley. This is my honest review after choosing to read it.
Dakota has moved to Cherry Lake for a fresh start. A car accident has resulted in more limited use of her most powerful tools, her hands. She had to leave her successful career behind and unfortunately her fiancé therefore left her. Dakota is now trying to heal and find a new way to be creative that's within her limits. Cherry Lake feels like home straight away and to get to know people Dakota wants to play an active part in the community. She volunteers to be a vital part of the local annual Christmas tree gala. This will be a great way to find an outlet for her creativity.
When Dakota meets Adam she feels a connection straight away. Adam is a soccer player, but because of his father's recent heart attack he's on a break and has temporarily taken over the family business. Adam has some serious thinking to do about his career, but also about his personal life. It's time for him to make decisions and getting involved with someone isn't a welcome distraction. However, can he ignore his attraction to Dakota?
Christmas Glitter is a wonderful romantic story with two heartwarming main characters. Dakota is kind, fierce and generous. She never gives up and I loved her positive spirit. Adam is a gorgeous gentle man struggling with career issues. He doesn't know if it's time to move on or if he should keep playing for another season. Things become even more complicated when there's the question if he'll actually have the unlimited options he thought he would have. It was interesting to see where that would lead. He and Dakota both grow as a person, also because of the time they spend together, and I couldn't turn the pages quickly enough to find out if they'd get their sprinkle of Christmas magic and find their happily ever after.
Ann B. Harrison's writing has a lovely flow. I liked her vivid descriptions of the welcoming Cherry Lake and the events that are taking place there. She's given the town a great warm atmosphere that's perfect for sweet romance. There's plenty of Christmas charm as well and that festiveness makes the story even more fabulous. I loved Christmas Glitter, it's an amazing vibrant feelgood story with the exact right amount of depth and a fantastic endearing ending.
Dakota and Adam are cute as can be from the second they meet each other. Adam is only in Cherry Lake because his father had a heart attack, and he is helping his mother take care of him as well as the business. He's a professional soccer player who plans to make his way back to Seattle as soon as things settle down. But he meets Dakota, who has just purchased a hotel to revive since her first career choice was halted after a car accident that left her without a fully functioning hand. She was a famous jewelry designer in her "past life" as she calls it. But she's optimistic about the future, and is still finding ways to be creative when she takes on hosting the town Christmas Gala... which involves decorating a ten foot tall Christmas tree. That's a lot of work!!
The romance itself is a slow burn in this read, and it stays PG throughout the whole book. The drama picks up when Adam...
This book was cute. Adam and Dakota were adorable together and the little town of Cherry Lake was to die for. This book did not scream Christmas at me, which was kind of disappointing. I wasn't super fond of the writing style either. But am I still going to read the other books in this series? Probably.
This was a nice holiday read. Dakota was an artist who suffered a devastating blow when her hand is seriously injured in a car accident. She comes home to recuperate and start over. Adam is a well-known soccer player who returns home to help out after his father has a heart attack. He and Dakota are attracted to one another and when she takes on the job of organizing the town's Christmas gala, he's there to help.
A nice, cozy love story set in a small town with wonderful people. The author did a good job in creating a heartwarming story sure to satisfy any fan of contemporary romance.
This was a cute holiday read about Dakota, jeweler injured by car accident, and Adam, pro-soccer player. When they meet, neither one is interested in a relationship as Dakota was dumped by her fiance, and Adam was too involved in his career.
They both have health issues that they are dealing with so they agree to be friends. For the most part, there is just a lot of sparks between them that they choose to ignore but there were a few conflicts that they had to deal with on their path toward a relationship!
I certainly could agree with Adam's mother who was very frustrated that Adam would not go see the team doctors and kept putting it off and ignoring it. What I found frustrating is that he would finally agree to go just before the big gala that he and Dakota were helping organize. He could have picked any other time but when he finally decides to go, he risks missing the most important event with Dakota.....just shaking my head at him!
Dakota seemed like such a sweet down to earth person so you could understand that Adam and everyone else just liked her! I also liked that she gave Adam a hard time to not keeping his word to Cody - glad that she did that !
I really wish that there had been a bit more description into Dakota's car accident and why she had to spend so much money for medical bills when the accident was not her fault. That part I just did not understand and would have liked to know the "why" behind that. Also, I get that Mari is her half sister but didn't get any info on their relationship in terms of how Mari's mother was involved with Dakota's father - was it before he married Dakota's mom, after marriage and he was cheating? If there was an explanation, I did not see that part.
I saw that this is book one in the Moore sisters series so I look forward to Mari's story. I also hope that we will see Jake find someone down the road after he mourns losing his wife, and it was great that Rachel was surprised at the end with a man of her own!!
I was provided a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest and fair review.
This book would make a great Hallmark movie, it was cheesy and kind of corny and a had a sweet ending. This certainly wasn’t a bad book and I think a lot of people would definitely enjoy it, especially since its set right around the Christmas holiday (which is a great time to fall in love!). For me personally though this book did not do the trick. The main character, Dakota, and even many other women in the novel are very insecure and self-doubting. I understand we all have moments like this but they’re all successful self-employed business owners and I feel like to earn yourself that kind of success you wouldn’t then constantly be downplaying every thing you do like its not good enough. That got to me a little. The descriptions of the interactions between men and women in the book too seemed very old-fashioned in a way that was off-putting to me, specifically when one of the older men in town is trying to talk Dakota into going to have a drink with Adam and afterwards she goes to change. The narration says “Ever since the decision had been taken out of her hands” – you can stop right there, this is not the girl for me. If you want to go that’s fine but don’t say that the decision wasn’t yours to make because that’s pretty ridiculous.
So anyways I don’t want to go on a rant, other than those types of things the book was a cute read and it was exactly the kind of story I’d expect to see on the Hallmark channel during the month before Christmas – heart-warming and sappy. I would recommend it to anyone who’s pining for a good Christmas love story after the holidays 🙂
Christmas Glitter by Ann B. Harrison The Moore Sisters of Montana
Sweet Holiday Romance ~ Healing, love, family and holiday spirit abound in this small town Christmas story.
Dakota Moore has moved to Cherry Lake after a rough year. She is unsure that the creative job she is well known for will be a possibility for her in the future after the accident she was in. One of the first people she meets is Adam Clement – professional soccer player – home to help his father out while he recuperates from a cardiac incident. The two are definitely attracted BUT neither believes they are ready for romance. With Adam trying to figure out what he wants to do with his future and Dakota worried about hers there is much to explore for both of them through the book. In addition to the potential for romance the two are involved in community with a tree decorating, soccer clinics and more going on for the reader to enjoy.
I enjoyed the book and felt it was written by someone from “Down Under” even though the term soccer was used instead of football and the setting was in Seattle – and – I do believe the author lives in Australia so I was right. This does not detract from the story but it was interesting…as was the story.
If you are looking for a sweet small town holiday romance filled with community and holiday spirit this might be the book for you.
Thank you to NetGalley and Tule Publishing for the ARC – This is my honest review.
I liked the characters in this story. I liked the way the author wove the details of all the side characters into the main story and you know that something will come from it. Hints of stories to come... There is just the right amount of angst, and the potential of romance not just for the main characters. I liked that the main characters showed their flaws and that their family life is not picture perfect..... but everything works out in the end.
A sweet Christmas romance about finding home and a HEA. There's the perfect mixture of chemistry and smooth flowing dialog to keep the story moving at a quick and satisfying pace. Since this the first book in the series, I can see nothing but success in its future.
This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher and NetGalley. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.
Naughty bits need not apply this is a very clean and cute romance. The characters are unique and the conflicts they're dealing with are just life. It's very well written but almost too sweet, like not realistic. The whole thing has a wholesomeness that harkens back to another time that existed only on tv.
This was a very typical, sweet romance with a slow burn relationship. I enjoyed the first part but then this happened:
WHAT THE EFF?? This is a guy who has a LOT on his plate - they ALL know that. He is dealing with a father who could have died. Isnt that ENOUGH??? Give the poor sod a break. Corey is a selfish, thoughtless brat and I lost ANY sympathy for him and his father - who should have demanded an apology right there and then instead of sticking up for the brat.
I really enjoyed this story up to that point and then it all fell apart. I can't like a woman who has no empathy for the man she is dating. She should have stood up for him, not let him be treated like some selfish idiot.
A couple of other points:
The plot line with the trees was lovely, although I seriously doubt any sane woman would make all those incredibly valuable decorations and simply give them away.
Adam goes back to Seattle for his medical tests and then has to catch a plane to get back to Cherry Lake. That has to be at least 600 miles?? The flight is cancelled and Adam gets into his car. The next paragraph has him arriving back in Cherry Lake - still in time to attend the gala that was beginning when he got on the plane. (I may be missing something there, but that was the impression I got.)
And finally. 'eventuated' - no. just NO. This is the second book I have read in which an author uses that word. Advice? Stop doing it.
I so wanted to love this book, but the incident with Corey tainted it for me. Yes, teenagers have the right to speak out, but not to be insulting like that. And his father and Dakota both need to realise that sometimes, life gets in the way. I liked Adam a lot. He deserved far better.
I found this book to be missing some of the romance I enjoy. We meet Dakota who is overcoming an accident which left her with some nerve damage in her hands. Not the end of the world, unless you create fine pieces of jewelry for a living. She relocates to a new town where her half-sister lives and meets Adam. He is home during the off season of professional soccer because his dad had a heart attack. He now is faced with the possibility that he has a rare heart defect and is not sure he wants to know or not so is avoiding getting the tests done by the team doctors.
During their love story, Adam and Dakota dance around the idea of being together. She doesnt want to get involved with anyone because she gave herself a set time to be alone after her douche of an ex. He doesnt want to be involved with anyone if he has the heart problem. Christmas brings them together during some fundraising and tree decorating. In the end, literally right at the end of the book, we find out that Adam doesnt have anything that cannot be fixed with surgery in the new year and Dakota and him seem to be together. No mushing romance....booooo!
This was just alright. It was a cute Hallmark inspired holiday romance. I'm not a huge fan of cookie-cutter Hallmark romances so this could be why I struggled making it through this book. I felt that it was rather slow moving and the character interaction was just okay.
If you're a fan of Hallmark Christmas movies this is probably going to be a hit for you! I was just bored at points.
Christmas Glitter is a charming Christmas romance of two people who have had life changing events recently happen to themselves or loved ones. When the “big picture” of your life changes you can either hide or face them straight on. It’s never easy to move your life’s direction another way, but Dakota and Adam really have no other choice but to move forward, for that is the type of people they are.
The whimsy and beauty of the glass ornaments that Dakota creates caught my attention – for I collect glass Christmas ornaments myself. As Dakota is rebuilding her professional life, she’s also establishing herself in the small town of Cherry Lake. It’s here in the beauty of the area and the calmness of the small town that she can completely heal and move forward still doing what she loves but in a slightly different way than before the accident.
Adam returned home from his professional soccer career to tend to his father’s real estate business when his heart attack sidelined him – and scared his mother and himself deeply. Sometimes it takes a wake up call in order to make our own plans for the future. While his father recovers Adam continues working in his home town, helping with community plans to repair the old Grange again – and maybe falling in love in his spare time.
Adam and Dakota both are healing in different way, as well as facing life decisions that will not wait for anyone. Their romance is a slow burn, a building of a friendship that might lead to more. Adam is holding back worried about issues that have arisen with his father health problems… and his own career. Both are a bit stubborn and tend to put others first. I enjoyed them as a couple and as individual people as well. Their romance was fun, solid and with a touch of hesitation for what the future might hold. Yet when they each set aside their fears they were a delightful couple.
Christmas Glitter begins The Moore Sisters of Montana series, and I’m definitely looking forward to the next story in this series. If you love holiday romance, a slow burning romance, small town living and an easy to relate to situation, then you’ll love Christmas Glitter.
*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*
In July, my mother got me addicted to Hallmark Christmas movies. I decided this holiday season I would read some cheesy, Hallmarky novels and enjoy myself. What I learned is that it is impossible for me to read a holiday romance novel in more than 1 sitting, it just doesn’t work. I end up staying up until the book is finished, which is ok with me!
Let’s get one thing straight, yes, this book is absolutely predictable, just like every single Christmas Hallmark movie ever made. The story is just plain adorable and had me sucked in. This is also part of a series so guess what I’ll be reading in my near future!
This is the story about the super hunky soccer player, Adam, who moves back to his hometown to help his parents while his father recovers a heart attack and a woman, Dakota, who owns a fancy upscale, unique jewelry business. Dakota recently suffered an injury in a car accident and can no longer craft how she used to and came to this small town to try and reinvent herself, while swearing off men.
Adam and Dakota meet when she goes to pick up the keys to her rental home. Adam is stepping in for his father with his real estate business and instantly there is a connection. They continue to bond over trying to save a dance hall in the town and Dakota steps up and leads fundraising efforts.
Dakota and Adam are doing everything they can to remain friends. Dakota has to remind herself that he’s going to be leaving soon and going back to the world of soccer, so she is trying not to get too attached. Everyone around them can see they are perfect together, so why do they keep denying it?
There are some grammatical errors in this book that make you stop and re-read what you just read to try and make sense of it. Aside from that, this book is for you if you love and adore Christmas Hallmark movies. In fact, Hallmark, this book needs to be made into a movie STAT!
This is a 4-star book from me, provided you love the super cheesy holiday romance. If you are not into that at all, just skip over this book or pass it along to your Hallmark loving friend! It is such a cute, sweet story and now I need to read the other books in this series to see what happens with the others in the story!

A set of cobaltblue eyes connected with his over the balsa wood project. A petite goddess stood holding one gloved hand in the other, a look of pain on her pinched pink lips. “I’m so sorry. I didn’t realize the wind had come up quite so strong. can Dakota convince Adam that his home is right there in Cherry Lake, with her? read this book to find out. Christmas Glitter by Ann B. Harrison is a wonderful well written 5 star book. I highly recommend reading. "I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book." Ann's Books with Tule: Chance for Love The Watson Brothers
The Sheriff’s Mail-Order Bride The Watson Brothers
After damaging one of her hands in a car accident, Dakota not only lost her ability to create jewelry but lost her fiance as well. Feeling she would never be able to get her life back if she didn't get away from her coddling parents, she moved to Cherry Lake. Eager to fit into the community, she volunteered to work on the community's annual Christmas tree gala.
Adam came back to Cherry Lake to take over his father's real estate business after the man had a heart attack. The timing was perfect since Adam's soccer team was on a break. He also volunteered for the Christmas tree gala. Working with Dakota made the job easy because they worked so well together. Turned out they really liked each other and spending more time together made their attraction stronger. However, since Adam was only there for a short time, he didn't want to start anything with Dakota. But you can't control the heart.
I really liked Dakota and Adam. I felt sorry for Dakota after having the accident. Not being able to do the work she loved (and was famous for), making jewelry, was devastating for her. I admired her determination to find another way to be creative. Adam was a good man who didn't hesitate to help out his family and community, even though he was struggling with his own problems. Should he retire or not? With constant soccer-related injuries, he needed to decide soon.
This was a wonderful story about friendship, community and love. It will keep you smiling as you follow this couple in their relationship and the events taking place around Christmas time.
I was happy to receive this book from Library Thing and give my opinion of it.
If you want to read what the book is about, read the blurb above the reviews.
When our hero goes home to help his parents, he finds himself running his father's business, putting together some of the holiday traditions that have gone on. Also, his father was trying to get one of the local businesses up and running again so the town could survive with jobs and tourism. It was a close call for his dad and it will take some time before he runs back to his job in the city.
Our heroine has had a difficult time in the past months. She's had a car accident which has caused her to change what she makes for a living. She used to be highly prized for the things she made, but since the accident she's had to change what she made. Thankfully, before the accident she had already started with ideas. However, getting her family and friends to give her some space is different. This was the main reason why she decided to move away from everyone.
The plot with these two were different and gave you an understanding about what difficult times they've had in their lives. In fact, they are both dealing with parallels in their life at the same time. The characters are pretty down to earth although when the story first starts out, the heroine seems more like a princess type than anything.
Not a bad start to the series. I'll need to do some research in reading the whole series one day.
Harrison has brought us a well-written, sweet romance perfect for the upcoming holiday season to help get us in the spirit as we read about a warm community full of great people. She even uses a real Soccer (football for everyone outside the States) Club based in Seattle to help set up her storyline; the Seattle Sounders. I’m admittedly an FC Dallas Fan myself but that didn’t take away from my ability to enjoy the book.
We are introduced to two characters who have experienced huge life events and now need to make some seemingly hard choices. Harrison did a good job bringing in love, grief, fear, and trying to move forward when curveballs get thrown your way. The choices, emotions and actions done by her characters not only felt true to the story but realistic.
Their relationship moving at a slow pace, becoming friends, really helped sell the major changes they were still trying to process which brought them each to Cherry Lake. I hate insta-love with a passion and was glad to see that overdone theme was avoided here.
The charming town of Cherry Lake felt like the perfect backdrop for her story as you could easily imagine yourself holding one of Dakota’s delicate ornaments trying to pick one out for yourself or as a gift.
Overall this had the feeling of one of those Hallmark Holiday movies and if you love those then you’ll definitely need to pick this up.
I love these little fictional towns that sound and feel so real. Cherry Lake is not to far from Marietta and it is slowly becoming another favorite town for me to visit in my book travels. I do have tendency to visit Montana a lot. Must be something about the cowboys, the snow (which we do not get here in Texas) and the warm feeling I always seem to come away with. In this book our author gives us two folks who are not youngin's but not middle aged either. I like the fact that they have lived some life and are being asked by life's itself to make changes. It was so nice to see normal folks not young kids in a book.
The storyline really had me from the start because I am an artist and Dakota Moore is one as well. Her life mirrors mine and that makes for a great read in a book. Pro Soccer player Adam Clements comes home to help out in his father's real estate office. Oh fate has they should meet when she comes to pick up the key to her rental cottage. Know that this book moves at the perfect rate that it should. It moves and flows like the snow in the trees. The details our author gives us in this book brings the trees alive. Her descriptions of the ornaments that Dakota creates had me going to me my sewing room and picking up my sketch book to design a new creation. This book inspired as well as was a good read and that to me IS a good book.
CHRISTMAS GLITTER is a standalone read with a HEA. Appropriate for any age. Dakota is a young jewelry designer that is a celebrity in her field. Recovering from an accident that almost cost her two fingers on one hand she is trying to rebuild her life. She moves to a small town down from Seattle where her sister recently purchased an old hotel to restore. She meets Adam when she goes by the agent's office to pick up the keys to her rented cottage.
She is moving in with her small dog Tiny Dancer. She has a lot of recovering to do and she really isn't interested in men, after her disastrous previous boyfriend. However, she is very attracted to Adam. Adam is living in the small town helping out his father that recently had a massive heart attract. He is also aging out of his sport, soccer, and needs to make some decisions about his future. Adam plays professional soccer. He is loathe to give up his sport and occupation but he may not have any choice.
This is an entertaining read and I definitely recommend it. Lots of fun characters and a town with a heart of gold. I really enjoyed the story.
I was not paid for this review. I am not a writer nor do I know one. I am not kin to this author. I am a reader and this is my opinion, nothing more, nothing less. 10/20/18
This is a sweet holiday that that will warm your heart and keep you entertained from beginning to end. It's very well written and I really enjoyed these characters.
For the past year Dakota Moore has been recovering from a horrible car accident and a broken heart. Now she's moved to Cherry Lake to start over and reconnect with her sisters. She's unsure if she'll ever be able to go back to making the jewelry she is well known for but her creative juices are still flowing. She'll just have to channel them a different way for now.
Adam Clementsis temporarily in Cherry Lake while his father recovers from his recent heart attack. As soon as he can he plans to get back to Seattle and his professional soccer career.
When these two first meet there is an instant connection but the fight it since Dakota isn't sure she's ready to trust anyone just yet and Adam's stay is only temporary. Some things can't be avoided though!
This is a great read and one I would recommend to everyone.
Professional Soccer Player is a new career for a Montana man, but it works just fine in Christmas Glitter by Ann B. Harrison. Adam is the type of person who comes when he is needed which is part of the attraction for Dakota Moore. This story of recovery, rebuilding and finding a place to belong is all part of this Christmas story, as well as coming home for Adam.
This story flows, making it a relaxing read about love found among the community preparations for Christmas activities. The characters have their issues but are believable and even more important for me in the books I read, Adam and Dakota are likable. It reads quickly without too much drama, nor is it an event packed story. It has supporting characters but not so many it is hard to keep up with them. Most of the story’s focus is on Adam and Dakota. On these busy days of the Holiday Season, this is a wonderful traditional romantic read.
An ARC of the book was given to me by the publisher through Net Galley.
Thanks to Netgalley for giving me this book to read in exchange for an honest review. No compensation was given, offered, or taken to alter the opinion.
Christmas Glitter was a sweet, light, and easy read. I really liked the idea of this book and I loved it when I figured out the reasoning behind the title of the book. I hate to criticize any book because I know how much hard work goes into making one, but this book just fell flat for me. I have really loved all of the Hallmark movies turned books and I love Christmas stories, so I was disappointed that this one fell short of the mark for me. This story is told from two different view points, Dakota and Adam. At times the writing and the story just seemed juvenile or forced. Sometimes I thought information was lacking from the story and there were too many questions left unanswered for me. Overall it was a cute story, but it just wasn't my favorite.
Makes you want to take a road trip to Cherry Lake.
This is a lovely, sweet read - there are no huge dramas, more an emotional roller coaster ride for both Adam and Dakota. Both have come to Cherry Lake with their lives in limbo, unsure of what the future holds, or even what sort of future they would like! They accidentally fall into a friendlship, each supporting the other but both are holding back......holding back their fears, holding back their hopes and holding back their true feelings. Will one of them be brave enough to open up and tell the other how they feel? Or will the numerous unknowns they face steal their hope and have hem 'playing safe' and walking away? I liked both Dakota and Adam and they are joied by a great support cast, once I finished this book I downloaded and read the other three in the series too - a lovely series which gets better as it progresses simply because you get to know the town and the characters better!
I have discovered a new author, Ann Harrison. She has pulled me right into this book. There may be some tears but anyone could read this book. Dakota is a jeweler. She can make and sell jewels! She came to Cherry Lake to recoup from an accident. She meets Adam who is working for his father, with a bad heart. He wants to show the town. He is a Seattle soccer player. He has a teen, Cody, who wants Adam to teach. Major Spoiler! He has forget his promise. As it is close to Christmas Dakota promises to pick a tree to raise money. Adam has found that he has a same thing his Dad had. Major Spoiler! He is on time. Dakota also has a small time to decorate her tree. There is 6 trees to pick the best decoration. Next comes the action to find the auction for charity money. I fell into this book. The people and story line are real. Don't let this book get away! Enjoy reading this story!
An absolute gem to read, this clean, loving tale of romance and second chances will melt your heart. The author has created a wonderful set of characters that will steal your heart and leave you wanting to know more about their lives (which I'm sure we will discover in the following episodes). In this book, we have the pleasure of meeting Adam and Dakota, both of whom are dealing with their own demons, much in the same way, never expecting to find love lurking just around the corner. Their obstacles are both real and perceived, but fate no doubt has a plan in place, as they stumble down the road of romance. Beautifully written, this easy read has a great story to tell, and Ms. Harrison does just that! I absolutely loved it and am looking forward to reading more of this series, as the Moore sisters move in to Cherry Lake, one at a time.
