Little Fart and his best friend Timmy go to the zoo. Great books filled with interesting facts about different animals.This is a fun books parents will enjoying sharing with their children. From lions, to giraffes and everything in between, Jackson piques interest with fascinating and surprising tidbits that should make any child want to do more research. Colorful illustrations accompany the text. Best book of the series by far!

The title alone made my grandkids laugh and giggle!
Farts are funny. There’s just no way to get around it. No matter who you are, or what your background is, chances are you have found some kind of fart, or something even sounding like a fart, pretty darn funny! Children know this, and fathers know this because their children keep reminding them of it all the time. There is no way to get more joy out of children with less work!
This is an amazing fun book for readers of all ages. I read it with my grandkids and they loved not only the story, but also the illustrations (by Danko Herrera). I thought the text and illustrations worked well together. This time Timmy and his best friend the Little Fart walk around the zoo together, visiting the animals and learning fun facts. Anybody who is following this series will know that they are in for another great adventure!
I have shared your stories with my own family and we have all found great delight in them. Thank you for sharing with us the gift that you have obviously worked so hard to refine. I trust your book will soon be on the best seller list. If not, it should be!
Finally, my advice as a parent and grandparent on the subject of farting would be to just let them roll, laugh at them, take a step back if you have to, and just be immature about it for a minute or two. They don’t say laughter is the best medicine for nothing. A good laugh can actually improve your health, strengthen your immune system, improve mood, lessen pain and protect you from the damaging effects of stress. That’s why I stated above that this book is suitable for all ages! Another well deserved five stars again from us.

‘The zoo is filled with all sorts of fantastic animals from all around the world’
Australian author Ben Johnson has two homes - Tasmania, Australia (his birth place) and Ontario, Canada where he now lives with his Canadian born wife and co-author Sam Lawrence. He is a tradesman by day and a writer by night. Some of his books include HOW TO SURVIVE THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE, DIVORCE RECOVERY: GUIDE F0R PARENTS & COUPLES, LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIPS, BEING A MAN, and now a new children’s book series (and for adults in need of some humor!) THE DAY MY FART FOLLOWED ME HOME, THE DAY MY FART FOLLOWED ME TO HOCKEY, THE DAY MY FART FOLOWED ME TO SOCCER, THE DAY MY FART FOLLOWED SANTA UP THE CHIMNEY, THE DAY MY FART FOLLOWED ME TO THE DENTIST, and now THE DAY MY FART FOLLOWED ME TO THE ZOO– written with his wife Sam Lawrence.
We first met Timmy and his hilarious ‘companion’ Little Fart in THE DAY MY FART FOLLOWED ME HOME. Now this new little charmer of a book is so well written (and illustrated by the gifted artist Danko Herrera) that though written for children it will probably become an adult favorite pick for bedtime stories for the family. This version adds a new dimension - teaching in a fine manner the experience of going to the zoo where the two (or one, plus unseen additive…!) see lions, pandas (‘because they eat so much bamboo they poop almost thirty times a day’), monkeys, toucans, beavers, zebras, crocodiles, a moose, elephants, kangaroos, tigers, giraffes, and a hippopotamus – and with the encounter of each animal Timmy informs Little Fart of their particular lifestyle and traits. Of course Little Fart inserts his commentary along the way.
Aside from the entertainment and laughs the book presents, there are lessons about life’s realties and relationships and friendships the creatures of nature around the world that make the book a solid winner – both for fun and for learning. Another winner for Ben and Sam!

Excited to be venturing out on a day to the zoo, Timmy and his friend, Little Fart, look forward to seeing all of the different animals so that they can decide on which one they would like to have at home as a pet. Exciting facts about each of the animals, inclusive of lions, pandas, monkeys, toucans, beavers, zebras, crocodiles and more, are presented by Timmy to Little Fart, but they are torn as to which type of animal they would like to come home with them.
I was very much looking forward to reading The Day My Fart Followed Me to the Zoo, after having read and enjoyed Ben Jackson and Sam Lawrence’s previous tale of Timmy and Little Fart’s dentist visit. The Little Fart books present stories for younger children, with each carrying an edge of humor injected into it to give an added giggle or three. One of the most impressive things about this zoo adventure is the amount of learning that a child can achieve as Timmy tells Little Fart of the most significant characteristics of each species. From a lion’s roar, a panda’s eating (and defecating) habits, an elephant’s gestational period and more – all are interesting facts that are not always known about by people around the world. As a lover of animals, both tame and in the wild, I was impressed with the amount of knowledge this book presents to those who read it. I wholeheartedly recommend The Day My Fart Followed Me to the Zoo to be read by audiences, both young and old, so that they can appreciate the vast differences between each animal species around the world.

The Day My Fart Followed Me to The Zoo is a children’s book. Little Timmy goes to the zoo with his mom and Fart. Once they get there, Timmy decides to wander around and show Fart the different animals they see. Fart seems to have never gone to the zoo, so Timmy becomes his guide.
I enjoyed how every animal they saw had an explanation and a fun fact about it. This made the experience educational, and since children love animals, it made the book to be a much favorable read.
Once Timmy gives Fart a thorough tour, then they head home. The illustrations were beautiful and colorful. I believe this particular story would be more suitable for an older audience as it had longer written content on each page.
Since the authors have written several books about Timmy and Fart, I believe it would be really nice to have it all sold as a collection in order for parents to order and read it out loud.

A great new addition to "My Little Fart" series. In this fun story, Fart follows Timmy to the zoo. While there, Timmy teaches Little Fart facts about the various animals while incorporating small jokes within the dialogue making this book fun as well as educational for my children. The vibrantly colored illustrations are well crafted to enhance the text of this story. A great addition to any child's book collection. I know my kids and I will be reading this book again very soon!

Another fantastic children's story from author Ben Jackson. A phenomenal way for children to learn more about the animal kingdom while enjoying an education yet funny story. A must read for parents and their kids!

As a former teacher, I thought this book was a fun way to keep the kids engaged, while teaching them about all different types of animals. I especially liked that the facts given about each animal weren’t the standard facts you’d find in school, but rather were interesting and unique.
