A little more than two years have passed since Clint purchased his Omega, Trevor, at the auction (Soul Mate for Sale). Can there really be a happy ever after for two shifters who found each other there?
"Do you still love me?"
"I..I think so," Trevor said slowly, dropping his face to his hands. "I mean, whatever this has been, it has remained steady."
"Whatever this has been?" I repeated, my stomach clenching. "You used to say you love me. Now you don't know if you ever did?"
I desperately wanted Trevor to correct me, to say that he had misspoken. To assure me that he loved me. That wasn't what happened. Instead, he tried to swallow a little sob and looked up, his beautiful blue eyes awash with tears and his bottom lip trembling.
"I see." A million more questions ran through my mind, but I forced them – and my confused wolf - back. "Can you tell me more? How long have you felt this way?" I swallowed hard. "Do..you want the claim reversed?"
"I don't know." He was choking on his sobs, and I had to fight every Alpha instinct to keep from touching him, comforting him. There was nothing I could do to stop the pheromones that my body released at his distress, though. "Things were so bad until you bought me and it's better here." He winced at the word. "But that's it, isn't it? You didn't choose me. You bought me because I was convenient, because I was different." He dashed the tears from his eyes. "Do you really think you would love me if we had met the normal way?"
"I know I would," I insisted immediately even though I already knew that this was an argument I couldn't win. "There was an amazing number of Omegas in that place. You know that. You were the only one I responded to. You're meant to be mine."
Trevor attempted a smile, but it was a weak imitation of his usual warm grin. "That's pheromones, sex." He shook his head sadly. "That's not love."
I could have argued that point, but I could tell that he had more he didn't want to say. "And?"
"I feel like I'm being forced into a role I didn't study for," my mate whispered haltingly. "I don't feel like I belong here anymore."

What in the holy hell?!?!? This is the second time in this series that Kian Rhodes tried to violate the HEA of a couple. I mean, they already got their HEA .. give them a break and let them enjoy it. Anyhow, despite from my frustration with that fact, I loveeeed this book! 💜
So in this book, because of some unknown reasons (I don’t wanna spoil it .. 😁) Trevor is having doubts about he and Clint’s relationship. After two years of marriage (well, in this case .. officially being claimed and mated 😉) He’s feeling like he doesn’t belong in the pack anymore. So this is the story of Clint and Trevor trying to get their HEA again with the bonus scenes of their rekindling and honeymooning scenes. Holy marshmallow! THE SEX IS HOT!!! 😍❤️😉 A half shifted were with mega organs (yup .. gently hinting! 😂 What a subtle gal I am .. lol) having super raw sex with his mate? Yuppppp!!! That’s my cuppa. It was really kinky and erotic. I also loved how it wrapped up in the end and I couldn’t be happier that they get their HEA again in the end. 😊
Favorite excerpt from the book .. 💙💚💜
“Of course not." Clint's eyes were suspiciously bright. "I may have found you on the auction block, but you're my soulmate. The other half of my heart. I've known that since the beginning.”
how did I never mark this as read and write my review for it...? slipped my mind
So anyway, I was impressed with this one because of the extra thought that went into the plot. It isn't the standard Alpha bonds with Omega story. Going with the established couple: the dommy Alpha who's confident enough in his masculinity to let his Omega top him (hot hot hot) and the Omega who is also an empath. Anyway, there are lots of things the author can do and I loved how this one went.
It was a nice thing to slip into the series and I appreciated how the relationship works in this one.
I give high marks to this author anyway though because of the way she writes creative characters and the flexibility they all have to find relationships that work for them.
I can honestly say only one or 2 books from this series were actually captivating. Otherwise, this series has been the book equivalent of trash TV; yes I'll read it, but I'm waiting on something else, and I'm not really invested. It was strange that the series, for all intents and purposes, ended, then the author decided to loop back around and give the earlier couples a different story. Which, to be honest, could have better been done by doing short stories of an occasion in their lives, not start up unnecessary drama between them. I'm not here for the tea, literal or otherwise. The bit where all the omegas from all the other books show up and each one of them recounts their stories was swiftly skipped over. All in all
This one was a bit hard for me as I was worried that my sweet Trevor and his wonderful mate Clint were in some serious trouble. I mean they're so perfect together that it threw me. I loved that Clint immediately put Trevor's needs above his own. He kept pursuing every avenue to fix their relationship. Never giving up until he felt there was no hope left; even then his actions spoke of hope. The friends that they made, the lives that they've touched have become their family, and they all rally round to uphold both of them until they stand together again, whole. I'm so looking forward to the next book. Poor Levi. His situation made me laugh. I also need to find out what's going on with Colt and Chloe. Adult read
A return to one of the most unflappable relationships, Clint and Trevor, and shaking it right the hell up! A good story of some uncertainty and doubt driving a rift between them and finding their way back together.
This story gave Clint and Trevor a bit more depth. They were the first relationship and it all happened very quickly. Getting to see them need to reconnect was nice and explored the two of them together. It also allowed a look back at all the other relationships, the way Trevor has helped them, and the strengths they each displayed. Very nice.
I enjoyedthis what it was that drove them apart, but I was a little surprised there wasn't more to it. Since both Trevor and another omega suddenly decided they didn't fit with Coruscation anymore, I thought perhaps someone was manipulating , so I was a little surprised that wasn't the case. I also felt that Trevor deserved more of an apology from Clint (big judgemental jerk. Even Rafe apologized better) but then there was the actions that showed it. Otherwise, a really nice book, good addition to the series!
This is the heart and soul of the destiny that surrounds the mating of Clint and Trevor. This story shows how they are like the center of the wheel that all the other couples are the spokes for. Rafe and Colby are featured here helping them through their rough patches. This was a moving story about everlasting love, that may appear easy to people looking in from the outside. But even in love this strong there can be moments of self doubt, low self esteem, comments made in passing -taken to the heart. The gift in this story is to communicate. Talk to your spouse, partner, lover if they make you feel less than. Let them know if they have been hurtful, impatient or unkind. How can they know if you don't tell them. Also remember to tell them how much you love and appreciate them, everyday. So far, my soulmate and I work everyday to make our love look easy. This story also includes deep supportive friendships. I believe those are harder to find than soulmates. All in all, I just flat out loved this story. It was beautifully written from the heart. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND THIS AMAZING SERIES!!!
Trevor, the omega to the alpha of a werewolf shifter pack is beloved by the alpha, the pack and by many other omega and their alpha mates. Trevor is a natural empath and helps at matchmaking crossing species and giving love to everyone. But he starts feeling lost and not belonging anymore being distant from his mate and children. A consultant says he has a mating imbalance and Trevor and mate Clint agree to a claim reversal spell which should allow them to begin their mating again. Trevor feels free but Clint is miserable and a serious downside to the spell is known to Clint but not Trevor. We do get the hard fought HEA along with a recap of all the omegas that Trevor helped to their HEA. A great book and series. Highly recommended.
If I could give this book 10 stars I would!!! This is by far my favorite book out of all of the what was it 13 books? I just loved this book especially since Clint and Trevor are my favorite couple and Trevor is my favorite character and I just absolutely just loved this book
I do wish that it had the birth of the child tho
And I really hope this isn't the last book cause it kinda sounds like it is but I'm like praying right now that it isn't!!!!!!!!!!
I hope the next book would be about Zane and Levi!
Please tell me this can't be the end. I look forward to the omega auction books. They make me laugh. What happens with Lea and Adrian and Eric and the rest of the kids. I wanted to read about the Blood Valley Pack when their heart starts dating. Please don't stop.
Rating: 4 star I love reading about established mated pairs and the struggles that they go through in their matings. Makes the books seem a bit more real to me. I love both Clint and Trevor and it was really good to re-visit them. I really enjoyed this book and hope that the author continues to write more in this series.
Clint and Trevor's story was brought full circle with All Good Things , but like the saying " All good things must come to an end " I feel that this book ended a beautiful series. I will continue to reread every book again and again as each one was a true treasure to read .
This book was up to Kian's usual talent with this series (really good!), however I'll say it again... I *don't* like it when writer's suddenly mess with couples who have already had their HEA and continued with that HEA through many books in a series only to either kill off one of the persons or break them up. Hence the 4 stars instead of 5.
This was an epic journey with 17 books in the Omega Auction Chronicles (plus 4 shorts) and they are intertwined with the Omega Rescue and Blood Valley Investigations). They are definitely best read in order and worth it - very sexy, entertaining and fun.
I still have the Omega Destiny, International series to get through and looking forward to it.
Book 6 of the Omega Auction series and Trevor is feeling disconnected from his mate and the pack. The cause of his problems seemed evident to me but it didn't stop my enjoyment of the book. There are still surprises, treats and the hints for a later story. Recommended for fan of this series.
I loved this entire series and this is no exception. It looks like this the termination point which makes me sad. But I am looking forward to reading more from Kian Rhodes
Always enjoy this series and was glad to have read this one. Was a little afraid for Clint and Trevor and their current problems, was hoping the author wasn't going to mess around with their HEA. Was glad all things worked out.
This was such a hard read. There are a few ups and down. A tear jerker for the more sensitive readers. But it ends the way it needs to and nobody gets hurt.
