Ray and Zack have arrived at Floor B3, home to the mad prison guard Cathy and her brand of "punishment". Driven into a corner by her many sadistic traps, will Ray and Zack be able to keep their promise to each other...!?
This volume we see Isaac and Ray being put through the ringer with a tough challenge that involves poison gas, and I think with the incident with the key card, this made for a fun volume full of character development and a pretty cool antagonist, which I’m hopeful to see again.
The more I read this series, the more I grow to love it honestly. I recently found out it's based on a video game of the same name with the anime an Crunchyroll and Funimation which also have my interest now.
Reading Ray and Zach going through each of the levels, trying to survive each game, with things getting more complicated and risky every time? It has me hooked already. The little bits we keep learning about Zach through this volume and the last definitely have my interest too. And holy crap can that guy outlast some intense stuff done to him. I don't know if it's something about him physically or if he's just that bitter and spiteful to not go down easy, but I am beyond impressed by it at this point.
Super twisted. I like vol 3 a lot, because it goes over different corporal punishment and its almost like reading a tiny part of history as these are judicial punishment that have been dealt either in the past or currently now. It's interesting because being put side by side you can see an evolution to it, and have a comparison view on it. Like I said super twisted and there only three shown but it makes you think over others, reviewing and comparing. It also make you wonder which would you choose. I like all the thought process this volume invokes.
I absolutely adore this series. I have to admit, I’m still fairly new to manga… This series caught my eye awhile ago, and I absolutely hate that I cannot easily find the entire series in paperback form. 😂. It’s so much better reading the physical form for Manga. But anyways, the storyline of angels of death is brilliant. I cannot wait to see where it leads. 💜
Honestly after finishing the second one I decided to pick up the third one and I must say, I don't regret it at all. It was so fun to read and I am honestly SO happy I did. I wish I could've seen more on Cathy's backstory but hopefully that will come soon.
This volume is full of action, it feels like a dystopian novel as Ray and Zack are being put through challenges as punishment by Cathy who is the antagonist. So much character development happens in this one.
I love it so much, it makes me want to play the game! Which is super rare for me since it's a horror game and neither of those things are how I would normally spend my days 😅
I kinda like that each psycho's backstory gets revealed as the two main character progress through this creepy psychotic world of deadly locked room (floors?) mysteries.
J'aime toujours autant avancer dans ce manga ! L'univers type backrooms, chaque étage est égal à un nouveau niveau, de nouvelles énigmes, de nouvelles thématiques, ...
Slightly more entertaining then the previous volume (the traps are pretty good), but Cathy is a super fucking obnoxious, over the top sadist. She kind of ruins her own floor by constantly mocking and taunting Ray and Zack so much. Hopefully her floor wraps up in the next volume so I can be rid of her annoying existence.
Zack en este me pareció divertido, además los acertijos eran interesantes, simples pero le dieron un toque para que no fuera solo matar y matar a sangre fría, y ver un poco del pasado de Zack me da curiosidad.
