Esse é aquele tipo de conto que você fica triste durante a leitura porque sabe que será rápida e curtinha!
Adorei os personagens e o desenrolar da história, a princípio fiquei meio perdida no prólogo, mas depois me encontrei e a leitura fluiu super bem.

Curtinho. Fluido. Interessante. THIRTEEN é muito bem escrito. Fui atraída pela sinopse e fiquei super curiosa. Quando comecei a ler não sabia o que pensar. O prólogo foi rápido e meio confuso então não sabia se ia curtir. Mas a história é curta, 65 páginas, então meio que justifica uma introdução assim. Entretanto, a medida que ia lendo fui ficando presa na leitura cada vez mais. Apesar da loucura da história, eu amei os personagens. As autoras conseguiram construir personagens únicos e cativantes em pouco espaço de tempo.

"Thirteen is my favourite number. People call it unlucky, but I love it".
This book is like a modern Bonnie and Clyde story. Avalon and Flint are both troubled individuals with harsh pasts who both wind up in an asylum for the mentally and criminally insane. Flint who ended up in the asylum because he used to work for a drug dealer and was at the wrong place at the wrong time which involved a tonne of bodies. Avalon ended up in the asylum after killing a student at a university in 'self-defense' and is known to be schizophrenic as she hears her father in her head telling her to kill.
As soon as Flint sees Avalon enter the asylum, it's like love at first sight for him. He knows she's the one. She's his thirteen.
The thing with the number thirteen is that Avalon has a tattoo of thirteen on her neck after dreaming about it and Flint always counts to thirteen as it calms him. There are other things that connect to the number thirteen but I don't want to spoil much for you.
Both characters are psychotic and death and killing excites them. I would have liked for this to be longer and for the characters to have more backstory and depth but nevertheless it was a decent short story.

Crikey I think I saw this promoted on social media & thought I’d give it a try. I’m so glad I did. What a fast paced read this was. It’s a quick read that I just had to read in one sitting.
When Flint and Avalon meet for the first time there’s a spark. There is a force pulling them together. It’s hard to say anything about the story without spoiling it. I will say if you like violence and sex then this could be the story for you.

I have never read a book like this before. When psychotic meets sexy and two murders meet and it's love at first sight that only fire burns brightly enough to show how their passion truly ignites. This fast-paced and interesting read was mayhem mixed with true love.
Violence, horror, and sex so definitely a read 18+

5 Flaming Stars!
The number 13 has been said to be bad luck but for some people like Flint it couldn't be more perfect. Just when he feels he's alone Avalon gets thrown into his world and things are never the same again. Without giving any spoilers I will just say that these two remind me of Harley and the Joker with the bond that's created between them. We're given the POV from both Flint and Avalon, as Flint ended Avalon would pick up so there was no repetition we we're constantly moving forward.
**Reader be warned you will encounter a high level of violence and sexual nature throughout this book** BUT it's necessary for their story Hey to be told.
When you can visualize what you're reading in your minds eye know you have a great story in your hands.
This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

Thirteen is a short novella that revolves around a couple who find each other at a psych center. It revolves around their one night murder spree after escaping from the institute. This was a creepy story that made my skin crawl, but it was interesting how there was a love story involved in this thriller story with two crazy people.
This is a perfect read for anyone who loves a little thriller story into their life.

Wow, this was an intense read. a novella that kind of left me speechless. I was provided with a copy to beta read and it completely blew me away. If you're a fan of psychological romance, this will not disappoint.

I Stumbled Upon This Book By Accident (Glad I Did) The Gorgeous Cover Is What Caught My Eye. I Went Into This Blindly. I Read It All In One Sitting. Can't Help It, The Pages Just Gripped Me! I Loved This Gory And Dark Romance! Absolutely Loved This One! We Have One Crazy Couple (Meeting In An Asylum) Takes Places In My Fave Holiday: Halloween And One Bloody Revenge. Wow! I haven't read a book like this before.
I was hooked in to Avalon & Flint's story. I felt for both characters. When together, Avalon & Flint were unstoppable.
The violence at some parts was almost too much for me, but I couldn't stop reading. I couldn't stop rooting for the two characters to find some kind of happiness.
This book won't be for everyone with the violence.
I reviewed this book voluntarily.
I was hooked in to Avalon & Flint's story. I felt for both characters. When together, Avalon & Flint were unstoppable.

Thirteen
Who knew one moment could change your whole life? One blink and you, as a person, are different. This happened to Ms. Avalon Stone. Her mental health is definitely questionable and as a young child she definitley suffered some type of mental break.
I love how the author brought Avy and Flint together. The connection was real. It didn't matter how crazy.
The number is used a lot throughout the story and it holds a deeper meaning with Avy and Flint.
Overall, it was a real quick read. I loved the Halloween aspect of it and loved how the author threw in some Bonnie/Clyde and some Harley Quinn/Joker. It was a good mash up. I say if you have the time, give this one a read. You won't be disappointed.

f this book was a game, I would describe it as a DLC or a pre-release sneak-peek. There seems to be no goal in mind, but rather a story to get readers curious of possible plots.

I was hoping for a truly dark novella where it gave me the need to check my lock thirteen times. It wasn't working for me mainly because of the culture differences. One, 13 is not bad luck for me and two, I don't celebrate Halloween.
I was also hoping for a truly maniac characters that went on a killing spree. But I got Flint and Ava who was nice to the people who treat them nice. I guess that could be consider a plot device. But that was also playing save. Flint and Ava did not need justification to let loose and tore flesh apart. In fact, they were among the nicest murderer I've known in the realm of books.
The sex was hot but not sizzling hot. It was sort of a repeat with different venue. What would truly be dark if they did it on top of the dead bodies covered in blood.
If this was a novel, it could go both ways either bad or good. But as a novella, it got stuck in the middle. To be honest, both writers should try dark comedy instead of dark erotica. Their acknowledgement page was the best. It was funny and spooky. And thanks for the lucky number 13 as a reader.

Thirteen is the first novella from Nina Auril and I’m a huge fan already. This was a perfect Halloween snack to satisfy my dark cravings. This new author duo knows how to write a super twisted revenge plot and executed this depraved journey very well.
Flint and Avalon are psycho goodness. They make quite the pair and literally set the scenes on fire. I was captivated from page one and kept reading until all the deeds were done. There was so much crammed into this short story and I was very impressed. I got plenty of naughty treats mixed with the terrifying tricks here.
If you like romances with blood and gore, snatch this scary-tale up! Fans of Tillie Cole and K. Webster will definitely dig this one!

Twisted Twisted and more Twisted. The definition of insanity well it changes at the drop of a hat but these two might just qualify. He protects her. She protects him. They save each other. But what they do to save each other leaves you shaking your head. These two have a twisted understanding of right or wrong and they dish out their justice and then poof.
I missed this writing duet and their special brand of whatever this is because it just is what it is and darn good reading in the process. Their characters don't apologize for who they are and after they reach 13 their done and living the dream. You may want to stir clear of them on Halloween. Loved it!!

Oh my!! What a wickedly twisted wild ride! The movie "Natural Born Killers" came to mind as I was reading this - Avalon and Flint are such a perfect fit. I loved that "Thirteen" had such a special meaning for them. They both suffered their fair share of trauma and pain, but their escapades were dark and twisted, yet their passion for each other was on such a different plane. They were each other's rock in the psychotic world they were fighting to survive in! This was a perfect novella for Halloween! Darkly passionate with no boundaries!

Absolutely spellbinding and dark. Not your typical HEA but still one nonetheless. This book takes you on a beautifully twisted tale of two lovers and keeps you wanting more. you want to not love them but you fall for the characters from the word go. this book duo is going to make head ways. absolutely in love with them. this book will push your boundaries but it is awesome.

This book was awesome. The twists that you will not see coming all related to a number. Some see it as unlucky but not for Flint and Ava. They have each others back no matter what. Do Not Miss this book you will regret it. Abby and Nina make a awesome team.

Thirteen is a short, erotic horror novella about two killers who go out seeking revenge. It's violent, a little gore-y, and the erotic element is HOT. Neither person is redeemable however there is no denying how perfect they are for one another. I enjoyed this dark novella.

Amazeballs! Twisted and fantastic! I loved everything about the book! The characters were the perfect amount of craziness. I'm all about some twisted and psychotic killing! This was one of my fave books to read! It's amazing that even through these circumstances there is someone out there for you. I loved each scene. Don't poke the bear! Some people just need to be left alone. When they warn you enough is enough....heed the warning and leave them alone. I'm speechless! Floved It!

This is the first novella written between Nina Auril and Abby Gale and I can only hope this will not be their last! With aspects of the Joker and Harley Quinn relationship, Flint and Avalon set off on a journey to punish all of those that have done them wrong since their birth. However, they do not have the easiest punishments in mind for their victims.
Thirteen is a story of two insane minds that find peace within one another. I would highly recommend this book that is looking for a good old fashion twisted love story! I promise this one will not disappoint.

This book is fast paced and crazy. I loved every second of this wild ride and I can't wait to see what this duo comes up with next.
The characters meet in a Psych ward and fell for each other fast. Once they escape, this book is one gruesome murder after another, with just enough hot sex to keep you going. The story is short so it moves very fast, but to the point where it leaves you feeling like you need more. This book may just become my Halloween read every year.

Damn!!!!! That was one h*** of a ride. I had goosebumps while reading. But those sex scenes were on fire!!!! Want to read a dark psychological Thriller? You'll want to read 13.

This is an action packed read with twists and turns when you least expect it. Thirteen should be unlucky but for Flint and Avalon it’s there favourite number. This is a must read that I’d highly recommend to others.
