Unprotected by Cassandra Dee a five-star read that will leave your heart unprotected. This is the forth book in the 69th street bad boys, but each book is by a different author and each read is a stand-alone. This is exactly what I’ve come to expect from Cassandra Dee a well written short read that will leave you with a sweet taste in your mouth, and a sweet smell elsewhere. Mr. Evan Lincon is a man who has everything he wants, expect the family company. His father has said that once he weds he will get the keys to the kingdom, and he finds his new bride in the most unexpected place a DoggieMart, all he needs is someone to pose as a fiancé for a month, fool his folks and the kingdom is his. What could do wrong? This is a great story that will leave you wanting more.

Maggie is a sales person at a pet store while going to school to become a vet. Evan is a wealthy businessman wanting to take control over the family company. He stops in the pet store one day when his sister leaves her dog with him with very little supplies for it. When Maggie hears a kid and parent freaking out she rushes in to see what's wrong. Calming the dog down and defusing the situation Maggie then asks Evan is there anything she could help him with. When her manager tries to step in Evan's not having it he only wants Maggie's help. When Evan returns Maggie is startled by his proposition to be his fake fiancé. In order to take over the company his father has made it clear his has to settle down so to get what his wants he'll do anything including marrying Maggie then getting a divorce once he has what he wants. What neither counting on was the electric attraction between them and for feelings to become a part of the deal. When a misunderstanding happens Maggie takes off however what she doesn't realize is that she's carrying Evan's baby when she goes. Will Evan find Maggie and claim her and their baby?
I love this series each author brings their own unique style to it. I couldn't put it down once I started. I can't wait for the next installment. I would recommend this to anyone that loves a great story.

This one my fav so far from Cassandra Dee.
It's fake fiancee romance story mix with modern cinderella story with a surprise baby.
A sweet poor girl met her Prince Charming. A billionaire and a poor sweet and kind animals lover girl. Yup this story definitely caught my eye.
It's a fast pace book full of hotness. Although there's some hot scenes that not my thing, I still enjoy reading this book.
I like the drama and I like the build of the connection between Evan and Maggie, love when love makes everything more complicated.
As for the characters. I like Evan, he's a sweetheart with cold front, he looks all about business, tough and cold, but he has a soft heart and really caring.
And Maggie, she's a sweet and kind, and has a very good heart, although a bit confusing for me, one minute she's very shy and the next minute she acts very dirty.
But these two still a sweet couple.
If you love hot romance story with baby surprise. You must try this one.

If it was possible to give this book a -5 star rating, I would. It was just awful. The character development made no sense whatsoever. One minute the main character is a shy flower then 2 seconds later she’s acting like an experienced vixen. The dialog was like an amalgamation of every bad romance cliche out there. Definitely not an author I’ll read again.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Evan and Maggie. Maggie works part time at DoggyMart while trying to go to college for vet school. While there one day in comes Bowzer with the man who has been deemed with doggy-sitting him. Evan never wanted to be stuck with his sisters dog especially on short notice but when he takes him somewhere to get him stuff so he doesn't destroy his place he finds an angel that is there to help him. Maggie just wants her degree but when Evan gives her this proposition she wonders how can she turn him down? If she does will she be just stabbing herself in the foot or in the heart? Evan can't get his woman out of his mind after their first meeting he wonders could she be the one to help him finally get control of the family company or will she end up controlling him in other ways he never planed?
This is an amazing book full of ups and downs that will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I want to tell you so much about them but don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this will be one of those books you will kick everyone out, order dinner in and not answer anything until you read those two little words, the end. I would highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

This a highly sexual story about a virgin, Maggie and a wealthy successful businessman, Evan. I read this one in one sitting and was sorry for it to end! Maggie is a young woman who attends school and works in a pet store part time. Her dream is to become a veterinarian. Evan has been told by his dad he must marry inorder to become CEO of the family business. On a chance encounter Evan meets Maggie and knows he wants her. A day later he is back at the pet store and makes a deal with her to be his fake fiancé for a month to fool, his father as she is just the right person to tame his dad like she does with animals. There are some hot sex scenes in this book and Evan does what he wants with Maggie and she seems to really enjoy it and starts to have real feelings. Towards the end of their 30 days Evan wants to make this a real relationship but keeps it to himself and Maggie feels the same way but when a very serious misunderstanding happens Maggie packs up and leaves without any word. It takes Evan 2 years to find Maggie and will she be able to keep it together long enough to push him away or will she let him back in? Will Evan be able to forgive her for her actions? Cassandra Dee has done it , yet again, and took me to a wonderful up to date version of Cinderella. Except in this version she is called Maggie and I really loved her. She is so caring and loving and a determined young lady who knows what she wants is on her path to do just that...become a vet. And he is Evan who wants to inherit his family's business in real estate but he needs a fake fiancée and when his sister dumps her pooch on him he takes it to DoggieMart where Maggie works. he knows that she can be persuaded and he uses all his charm and money to entice her to help him out. Evan is too busy for a real relationship but once he starts "dating" Maggie that he begins to change and he is distraught when she disappears from his life. This is Cassandra at her best and the chemistry between them and the sensual scenes between them are hot as you'd expect. Such a lovely twist on the tale. I received an arc of this book and voluntarily leave my honest review of it here.

A fun fast sexy read
I seriously could not put it down until the end. Another fun, sexy story from Cassie. Maggie is a young woman in school to become a Vet and works at a local pet shop. Evan is a wealthy businessman aspiring to be the head of his family’s company. One problem no fiancé, no CEO position. He meets Maggie and decides she is the right woman to convince his parents. There’s some misunderstandings and some heartbreak but there is finally an HEA. There’s fun sexy times, it wouldn’t be a Cassandra Dee book if there wasn’t! I received an Advance Reader Copy of this book for my honest review. I will buy the book because I really liked it and so my review is a verified purchase. If you like a book with some fun sexy times and a fast read this is the book for you. This book is part of a series of standalones carrying the same beginning title, The 69th St. Bad Boys, from about 15-20 authors.

Evan is the uberwealthy, hot alpha male who crosses Maggie’s path when his sister leaves him to take care of her dog. Evan has been waiting patiently to take over as CEO of his family’s company for a long time. His father was not going to turn over control until Evan was married. Evan decided to ask Maggie to be his fake fiancée but somewhere along the way, his feelings changed. Maggie has always known that she was never going to be a match for Evan as they come from two very different worlds. Can these two have a happily ever after? Will Evan’s father hand over the company? Cassandra Dee has written an engaging read filled with her penchant for creating those steamy scenes that will have you craving more.

This is the second of Mr. Dee's books that I read at the end of last year. They were reviewed on another site who booted him/her off for very good reasons.
As I was reading this (because I'd read the other books in the series, and didn't realize she was one of the authors until I got to #4), I was thinking...don't you ever get tired of knowing that your heroine is 1. dumber than a box of rocks, 2. a virgin who somehow knows all about sex, but just hasn't done it yet, 3. has a trash mouth almost as bad as the hero, and 4. has sex that sounds peculiarly like pornography. The other thing I was thinking is that is you want to write a REAL Cinderella story, then it has to be with tongue in cheek not something in something else. And please no more pregnant virgins. With the absence of this writer, perhaps all the others following in her footsteps will start to write books with substance, instead of porn with words.

Hot, real hot, raw and dirty. I do not recommend to read it with company.
Maggie works at a pet shop and she loves it. She is 18, working part time there and studying part time to, she want to become a vet. One day this handsome man enters the store and all those dormant hormones start acting up, did I told you she is a virgin?
Evan needs a fake fiance, his father do not want to give him the reins of the family company before he is married and he have the perfect candidate for the job. Maggie from the pet shop will do, will do real good. And not just for show! But first he have to have her in all ways possible. She says she need protection because she is young and fertile, but he likes it raw and this, this is only for a month!

Another amazing read from Cassandra Dee! It doesn't matter what she writes about..its always good! She is known for her smuttiness..but she also brings you a great story with the perfect mixture of love and laughter! Seriously, I know that I'm guaranteed to laugh like an idiot through at least one scene and I love it!
Maggie is a sweetie pie! Dee loves to bring us heroines that steal your heart..and the heart of the alpha too! Making them weak in the knees in a way no one else can!
Evan is our hot, billionaire we love to read about! He plans to gain control of his father's company after years of hard work. The only way to make that happen is to find a wife..due to his father's specific stipulations. When Evan meets Maggie..it all falls into place for him.
This couple is hot and I hope you love their story as much as I did!

I enjoyed this book and would be interested in reading a longer version if Cassandra decided to make one. It was a modern Cinderella story with a twist since she starts off as a fake fiancee instead of going to a ball.
I only have a couple minor issues with this tale:
One: it is supposed to be a cinderella story but her father and steps are only mentioned briefly once and while she is working for something close to minimum wage she is still slowly but surely working toward her goal of becoming a vet.
Two: I was unsure of the age of our "prince" obviously he is older but at two different points he was said to be 30 and 45. Obviously that is a significant difference. Since our Ella didn't mention him looking older just stunning I chose to think of him as 30 but it was still a bit confusing and I would rather no ages have been mentioned than conflicting ones.

If you are in to books with a lot of dirty talk in them than don't
go past this one.
Evan wants control of his fathers business and he was told the only
way he is going to be put in charge is if he gets married.
Maggie worked in a pet store as well going to college because her plan
was to become a vet someday. Evan went into the pet shop and that is where
he first saw Maggie and he asked her to pretend that she was going to become his wife.
That is how this book starts. Right from the beginning it gets very steamy which doesn't
take anything away from the story if you are not into books with a lot of hot scenes in it
than this one will not be your cup of tea.

I did not hate it but I am so over the 18 year old innocent/virgin/little experience ect . . .
I did enjoy the cinderella aspect of it all but the almost thirty year age difference was a peeve of mine. I am sick and tired of the one with not life and no real understanding being the one that gets her hea or at least something close. The premise that he wants to have control of the family empire was cool and all. The fact that he went in baiting an very young lady to be by his side was just ridiculous.
It was a fair read. The content was there. The dialogue was there. The plot there. The characters were there. I just could not get around another teen getting the hunky alpha male old enough to be her father.

Unprotected: A Cinderella Secret Baby Romance (69th St. Bad Boys Book 4) by Cassandra Dee is an excellent read. Hot, sexy and a bit dirty, it is everything you expect and love from Cassandra Dee. This is twist on the Cinderella Fairytale. When a billionaire needs a fake fiancé there's no downside, right? Wrong!! Because falling in love wasn't part of the deal and neither was getting pregnant. A very, very steamy read that is highly entertaining and enjoyable. I highly recommend it for readers that love scorching romances that are dirty, smexy fun. I am posting an honest review after reading an ARC copy of this book.

Evan is a sexy wealthy business man, who is aspiring to become the CEA of his families company, however, he desperately needs a fake fiancée to convince his parents, and when he sets eyes on Maggie he knows she is the one. These two come to an amicable agreement as Maggie needs money to complete her studies, and Evan will get his dream position as CEO. This is another well written storyline, which is a fun, sexy, yet heartbreaking read, and I was hooked and intrigued throughout.

When Evan meets Maggie there is a connection and he ultimately asks her to pose as his fake fiancé so he can get control of his family corporation. She is a virgin, he is an alpha male, will they be able to make it work? Will the fake become real? What will happen when the month is over? This was an interesting story and somehow worked. O. M. G. Cassandra, I swear, just keeps getting hotter and dirtier!!! This one is about an older man that needs a wife to get control of his company. Maggie is an 18 yr old innocent that is just trying to make her dreams come true. A chance meeting and these two set a scorching path through NYC!! Heat, sex, lies, misunderstandings, 1 missed period and things begin to fall apart. But a fantastic, and beautifully dirty, HEA is around the corner!! Maggie, she is such a sweet girl with a soft spot for animals. Evan is also a nice man, he needs a fake fiancé in order to can control of his fathers company. When he meets Maggie by chance she is exactly what he is looking for to impress is father. She agrees to help him, but things soon change and they become more . Maggie soon discovers that her and Evan aren't meant to be. She flees. Years later these two have a shocking reunion. I loved the story. Two opposites who actually fit perfect together. A good story!

A Cinderella fairy tale in a hot steamy romance! This was a fun story. It was about a man who meets his Cinderella at a pet store. This was such a fun read and had amazing characters. I loved the way the characters played off each other, loved each other, and the snarky dialogue. This was the ultimate rich man/poorer woman trope with a bit of adventure and sweet romance. This author never disappoints and this story and this series is becoming an amazing treat to read. I recommend this story and hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I received an ARC and am leaving an honest review.

This is the second book in the multi-author "The 69th Street Bad Boys" series I have read. All I have to say is that I'm living at the wrong address! Can you imagine a building where ALL the men were HOT Alpha males? Of course, Evan is as Alpha as they cum *snicker*(cum..Unprotected..you understand..dirty mind at work).

Evan is a wealthy CEO who needs a fake wife. Maggie is an aspiring veterinarian, but lacking the much needed funds to go to school full time. They're at opposite ends in life, but somehow they end up meeting, and their fake romance becomes more and more real. They had amazing chemistry, and I thought the characters were well written. It was a novella length read, but there was plenty of love and steam packed into this Cinderella-based book!

What a great read! You’ve got your much older Alpha male who picks a curvy 18 year old pet store worker for his fake fiancée...and what a wild ride that is! This book has it all—a great storyline; awesome characters; crazy emotions and hot🔥sex!! What more do you need, right? The road to the HEA is bumpy as all get out...but oh so worth it!! A great Cinderella love story
This was a really an enjoyable read. Evan was rich, had the world at his fingertips. What he wanted was to be CEO of his dad’s company, but he had to get married. When he meets Maggie at the pet store he comes up with a plan for her to be his fake fiancé. Could the unexpected happen and he falls for her or will it all end before it really got started.
