Wow wow wow. That's all that I can really say about this amazing written book. There was a lot of plot-twists in this thriller of a book. I think all teenagers would love this book of rock music, romance and illegal actions. It had an amazing, heart-warming ending and I would recommend this to someone starting reading to someone has books falling of their shelves. Obviously it would be ideal to read the over incredible books in the Rock War series but they are just as good. Coming from a boys point of view I would recommend this to boys and girls, however it may not be for everyone. Overall, this was an amazing book and I wish this wasn't the last.

Dylan`s bits were interesting to read, but Summer`s and Jay`s felt boring, and mostly pointless. I`m disappointed, since the first 3 books were really good. Muchamore could have focused more on season 2 of the show, maybe made one of the main characters a manager or something of the new bands

WHAT A SERIES!
Crash Landing is the Anti-Climax of the Rock War Series. The curtains have closed on Season 1 of Rock War and the Winner was...(Read Gone Wild).
If you were expecting a book full of Theo antics you will be dreadfully disappointed as Muchamore focuses on his three main characters; Jay, Summer and Dylan. Muchamore has actually cut A LOT of characters out of the spotlight in this book, is it just me or did it feel like there was ALMOST too many in Crash Landing?
Anyway, with the dust truly settled after the reality show, Jay and his reformed band Jet are trying to make it on their own. Summer is struggling between caring for her Nan, school and her tarnished singing career. And our poor addict Dylan has found himself in Jail.
All three characters plotlines are intricately woven together. On their own Jay and Summer's plotlines are pretty 'meh' but it is Dylan who well and truly brings this book together. Along with his Rock God of a father Jake Blade. Reading this book made me sit back and smile because all the Terraplane stuff which ran in the background of the previous books actually set this book up for an epic story.
Very Clever and interesting plotting Muchamore, the best I have seen in a while!
Unlike other reviews, I have a lot of respect for the authors style of writing too. If another author wrote this book, they'd try give you 3 different first-person views and it wouldn't work. The third-person perspective is on point. Also, the detail to the music and film sets, hospitals and prison is so accurate, you feel like these characters exist in real life.
Finally, the themes explored in this book are deeper than others. As much as I love crazy Theo shenanigans; Love, family, loneliness, addiction, fame and fortune were all explored very well.
I'm very satisfied with the ending of this book. Everybody got what they deserved.

C’est ravie que j’ai enfin pu lire et terminé cette petite série portant sur la téléréalité et les concours de musiques et chants. Une série courte aussi bien en nombre de tomes qu’en nombre de pages mais très sympathique.
Nous retrouvons donc nos personnages : Jay, Dylan, Summer, Erin, Theo… Peu de temps après la fin du troisième tome. Chacun se remet de la fin du concours rock war et poursuit comme il peut soit son rêve de percer dans la musique, soit est retourné à une vie plus normale.
Dans ce tome on voit l’envers du décor, les conflits qui peuvent se déclencher entre maison de disques et artistes surtout lorsqu’il s’agit de mineurs, les droits d’auteur, les doutes et aussi la motivation des non-gagnants à persévérer dans ce monde, d’affirmer leur choix. Le texte donne une vision beaucoup moins idéalisée du système et montre les côtés un peu plus sombre.
Quant à la deuxième partie de ce dernier tome, j’ai été étonnée par les choix de l’auteur, je ne m’y attendais pas. Cela a été assez surprenant lorsque certains événements ont eu lieu. J’ai eu une appréhension dans les dernières pages mais heureusement plus de peur que de mal enfin suivant les personnages que vous appréciez ou non.
Pour finir, cette série a été une jolie découverte qui m’a fait sortir de mes genres préférés. C’est jeunesse mais le contenu est assez mature et pour moi peut convenir à tout public. Ce fut une lecture divertissante et agréable.

The curtain has closed!
Dylan, Summer, Jay (especially Theo) have done a lot of growing in this book since the first one. I didn't know it at first but these books are all about teenage development. And I truly believe Robert did an fantastic job of that. This book did get me upset though with the stuff that hapoened to Dylan and how far from Grace he fell. But when he came out of it it's so liberating you really feel for him as an character! People who where were loney, unappreciated or didn't win rock war in the end. By the ending of this book it shows that winning isn't everything. And each character got what they truly deserved!
What really confused me about this book though is how did Michelle and Summer became friends again? We all know Michelle is crazy and didn't forgive her for 'selling out ' so it was kinda weird that wasn't addressed. Also I was kinda pissed the author just threw Adam character away cause he now has a gf he don't care about music no more? Got me mad 😂😂😂😂 but whatever.
This book made me laugh, cry, upset and smile! Imma miss all these characters i have grown to love! But it has tied up some loose ends.

considering the fact that this is the final book in the rock war series, it was a little disappointing. the first few books were good, but this book is the odd one out.
it might’ve been because i didn’t find this book as exciting, for it is only really based around summer, jay and dylan. i really missed all the other bands in this novel, and all the chaos everyone caused.
this book felt far more...civil? theo’s not the same theo he used to be, jay’s grown up a lot, and dylan is stepping away from drugs and spending his time in jail. as you can see, there just wasn’t much going on, and i found that a bit boring.
i guess this is muchamore’s way of just wrapping up the series, but i feel like it should’ve gone out with a bang rather than a damp fizzle.

Crash landing was a disappointing end to a good series, it just closed of what was happening and nothing special happened, the only reason this isn't getting 2 or maybe 1 stars as the previous 3 books were fantastic with great plots and good moments where this one was trash and nothing important other then the plane crash happens, Dylan becomes a billionaire, Jay gets rich, Jet gets famous, all of Terrplane die in a Plane crash, Big Len gets his name in the album and Summer recovers her music career.

Probably the weakest in the Rock War series. I read it, well really I skimmed it to wrap it up, but it didn't hold my attention like the others, mind you I could have been too tired or something. I'm not really the target demographic for these books, but I wanted to complete the set as it were, I don't regret it. It feels like what I was afraid a latter-day CHERUB book would be like - a lot of tying up ends, less actually happening, but that could have been from skimming it, I might give it another try another time. I gave it three stars, honestly it feels more like 2.7.

Really enjoyed this series, it was really eye opening being able to follow the characters on there journeys as well. I also liked the fact it did not damage the characters and helped them become friends. I feel it taught readers that being famous while enjoyable for a while does not always mean your happy. I specially liked the quote that Dillon made as the book ended. Not going to add it here as I don't want to give spoilers away.

I cannot remember the contents of each book so I am going to write a review of the whole 4 book series instead.
Once again Robert Muchamore has created a brilliant series that hooked me right from the start. The characters are realistic and I became entranced in their lives and the contents of the plot. The story is well written with unexpected twists, lovable characters and disappointments throughout

Ovog čoveka obožavam još od serijala Cherub – o deci tajnim agentima.
Ispostavilo se da je ova knjiga četvrta u nizu o rijaliti programu Rok ratovi, gde se pevači i grupe bore za svoje mesto. Vrlo brzo sam ukačio ko je ko i uživao u jednoj dobroj knjizi za mlade. Piše na koricama da je za starije tinejdžere. Verovatno zato što ima malo psovki i čak dve seksi scene. Odličan je.

Was interesting to read Dylan making himself a better person but I can’t get over how weird he was in previous books. Jays downgraded his life in every way and I don’t like this need for summer to be dating someone. She’s a tough beautiful and talented girl who has always been independent so I don’t like that it feels like she has been relying on a boyfriend this whole entire series

I loved this book and the Rock War series. I read the whole series of Cherub as well and that was excellent as well. Can't wait for book 5!

Lots of fun, stressful and general teenage life. I loved it! I got thoroughly invested in all characters and the ending hasn’t quite sunk in yet.

The badly behaved teens I complained about in the last two books in this series are more mature and thoughtful people in this book, but I have to admit it's made this story more dull. Yep, it's hard to make your readers happy...

Jay, Summer and Dylan just got out of the biggest reality show ever! But they’re about to discover the truth behind fame and fortune. From happy and joyful moments to extremely stressful and even fatal ones, the teenagers battle through learning what life’s like being world famous rock stars.
When Dylan was getting beaten up by some of the inmates in prison he stabs one of them in the face twice with a sharp object he found hours earlier saving him from more brutal punches and kicks. It made me think about whether or not he was going to get a longer sentence in prison, and if he’d finally scared of those inmates from beating him up for money, or had he just made matters worse. This is significant to me because in the story you find out that Dylan is a good guy, not just a teenager that got caught doing drugs. So I thought that he doesn’t deserve to live in prison getting beaten up like that for over a year.
Another important thing in the book is when Jay’s band have to make an important and extremely hard decision about whether they stay with the producers they’re with currently and have their lead singer replaced for someone else to give them their old sound or keep their lead, forget about those producers and stick with their new and improved sound. It made me think about the future of their band later on in the book and if they can still stay strong and popular world wide. This is significant to me because I don’t want their band to die out, this is their life, it’s the most important thing to all of the band members of Jet (That’s the name of the band) and they’ve been through so much to get to where they are.
I recommend this book and the others in the series (the series being Rock War)because it’s an action packed, fast paced and an eventful story about some kids who love to play music and end up being the most popular and famous band/musicians world wide.
