The Gods Beneath

Karl dancing. I think that was what made this book so great. Karl is still my favorite.
The BBB is split into 2 groups for part of this book, Hannah, Sal, Parker, Laurel need to find the tech by going through the jungle and Gregory, Karl, Aysa, and Hadley are hunting crystals in the mountains. Both groups are equally in danger for different reasons. Some of the twists I didn’t see coming! Especially the “gods” – that was really a surprise and… well – I can’t think of a words I want to use without giving anything away. I really like meeting new characters and hope there is more of Vitali of the Lynqi in the next book.

So I'm thoroughly enjoying this " fireside" tale...
And thinking to myself, something is different about this one. Then I read the author notes! Bingo! I love it. Series always have a main character or two, but if that is the only focus I would get bored. This attention to each team member was fantastic. As with other Kutherian books, it takes space to highlight team members. And the Authors torturing us with mini cliff hangers each time the story switched to the other team was purrrfect....speaking of....sentient feline humans...I want to live there! A whole village of Feline Overlords? If I had room for an extra star; it would be for that alone! Can't wait to see more of them and see how they progress.

Intriguing
I find I can enjoy the Rise of Magic more with this little trips no big conspiracy that involves a city and just drags on and on. I like the new layout. I find I like Hanna and Laurel the most. Dividing the story between two main groups can work well provided they are blended well together. So I will probably be looking for the next book.

Keep them coming!!
Huge fan of KGU!! It's been over a year that these stories have kept me reading..as I read approx 2-3 books a week that is great!! So to the question of splitting up Hannah's group and perhaps more KGU books to read, I say yes, yes, yes!!!! Love all the authors in this clever world!!! Thank you for all your hard work and great ideas!!!

These books just get better
I love all of the Kurtherian books and all the world's the authors have made. The characters are interesting and fun and the storylines introduce you to exciting new worlds. I love the mix of fantasy and science fiction and will continue reading them as long as they write them.

Balance
The characters are evolving and growing into their roles, and it's a crazy ride! I'm still thoroughly enraptured with the whole series, as well as this time frame. If you haven't read other series in the Kurtherian Universe, then do yourself a favour and go for it!

utterly brilliant!
Oh yes, you could see the great split up coming and boy did it work extremely well. Brilliant storyline for both groups that really made this book a definite must read.

I'm sure you'll be to continue with the anthology,
At any point they can be read as a stand alone and still be enjoyable with such wonderful characters and engaging storyline.

Great Adventure!
I throughly enjoyed the teams adventures in different parts of Irth. There were so many things going on, I couldn’t put the book down.

Two more people saved and the parts to save Lilith won. Can’t wait to read the next story, looking forward to the changes I’m guessing are coming.

This book was awesome, and has to be the best so far, of this whole series!
I love reading about Hannah's adventures, especially with Team BBB fighting on her side, and I was made very happy with this story, as Hannah had to make the decision to split the team up, as they had two important tasks to fulfill, as quickly as possible, in an order to gain what they needed, to prevent Lilith from dying.
With Karl, Gregory, Hadley and Aysa going one way, Hannah concentrates on her own task, with Parker and Laurel by her side, along with Sal, her wonderful dragon friend, of course.
What I loved best about this story, is that each of the characters got to shine as brightly as Hannah always does and, with all they ended up doing, in order to get their tasks done, more about them, and their true character within, shone out, so that we, the readers, could get to know them better.
With, I believe, only two more books to go, to finish the whole series, I'm so glad we got the chance to know them all better, and I'm also glad that, on looking at my reading list, I find that I can go straight on to this next, book eight, of the series: Reborn, to read it!

I was quickly captivated by this book and could not put it down till I was done with it. The story moves quickly from start to finish. I must say that the worst part now is the wait for the next installment to come out.
