PRAISE FOR R.D. PETTI AND NETTIE’S TEA HOUSE

“Petti is a talented writer whose tale evoked, for me, the delights of other metaphorical tales by such writers as George MacDonald, Lewis Carroll and Tolkien. I truly hope Petti captures the audience she deserves. This is a rewarding tale, meant to be savored.” --- Judge, 23rd Annual Writer’s Digest Self-Published Book Awards

‎“R.D. Petti takes us on an astral journey that is a feast for the eyes and a balm for the soul. Not since God on a Harley has a novel inspired so many a-ha moments.” --- Dana Micheli, owner of Writers in the Sky

“R.D. Petti has filled this book with beautiful language, symbols and lessons. The story takes you on an imaginative journey filled with valuable truths that will open your mind to new realities. Reading this journey will answer questions you have entertained all your life in a way that is comforting, powerful, and full of truth.” --- Chuck and Karen Robison, authors of The Quantum Conspiracy

R.D. Petti is an award-winning finalist in the Fiction: Visionary and Fiction: New Age categories of the 2018 International Book Awards. A life-long student of consciousness and wisdom traditions, she offers her view of the afterlife in her quirky Nettie’s Tea House metaphysical fantasy series. Based on her mystical and psychic experiences in non-physical realms, the series takes place in the dreamlike, magical world of Nettie’s Tea House, a cosmic halfway house for wayward souls, who have left their physical bodies but are unable to fully “cross over” due to past hurts and unfinished business. The tea house administers award-winning healing teas and other treatments to help these souls transform their pain into peace and discover the magnificence of who they truly are.

R.D. Petti aims in the series to raise awareness of higher states of consciousness, to support spiritual seekers in awakening to their truth, and to empower them to lead a fulfilling life. She knows that by connecting to our true essence through intuitive guidance, we are able to transcend the dualistic ego-self grounded in fear, end suffering in our physical lives, and open the door to achieving embodied enlightenment. With an M.A. in Counseling Psychology, R.D. Petti is a practitioner of Reiki and Pranic Healing and a Deeksha blessing giver. She is a proponent of alternative healing modalities to eliminate dis-ease of the body and release old paradigms and beliefs that limit our ability to embrace our full potential. A guardian and lover of the green world, she has an avid interest in herbal medicine and a passion for medicinal teas.

Could not get into this at all, it was like I was caught up in someone's mushroom trip. Also a lot of errors: typos, using "waste" for "waist" (unless there was a cord around his waste, which isn't a pleasant image). I do get what the author is trying to do but much too heavy handed.

Second edition of this book recently released. Taking place in the dream-like setting of the afterlife, the book takes readers on a mystical journey of self-discovery. Imaginative and lyrical.
