An amazing tale of triumphant over adversity.
In a world where the supernatural is unseen, thrives beings of good and evil. Lycans, Vampires, Witches, and others who protect the innocent Humans from evil forces like Mortef, a vampire so dark and evil even his followers fear him. When Mortef finds Rachel on his radar, he realizes what a precious commodity she is to his plans to control all he sees. Rachel has been brutalized and tormented in ways that most humans wouldn't survive. Mortef uses Rachel to achieve his desires. When she is rescued by the local Lycan pack, she finds herself struggling with the guilt, believing herself responsible for all of Mortef's atrocities. Seeking relief from her torment, Rachel learns to discover herself through her submission at the local BDSM club run by supernaturals. It only there that she finds the peace she seeks,and loses her fears, even if it is only for a brief while. A place to help heal her shattered soul.
When Mortef's nephew Devon and his soul brother Kieran break away from Mortef's nest and form they're own. They join forces with the Lycans to fight the Vampire Council.It is after a chance meeting at the BDSM club that Devon and Kieran discover Rachel is the mate fate has chosen for them. Realizing they must over come insurmountable odds to earn Rachel's trust, they fight to protect her from Mortef.
Rachel is as drawn to Devon and Kieran as they are to her. But life has already shown her that trusting the wrong persons could get her hurt again. It is only after a misunderstanding drives her into fleeing the protection they offer, that she unknowingly puts them all in peril.
When evil come knocking on the door in the form of Mortef's army... the Lycans, Vampires, and other supernaturals will have to set aside they're petty differences and unite to defeat Mortef.
Sara Anderson has once again opened the world to us, that she created. Her writing is superb! The characters are rich and vibrant with every bit of the angst we all suffer from. Her worlds are so compelling it is as if they were the next town over from where your living. Her tales will grab you by your soul and open you up to every emotion. You will never be the same at the end of her books. She leaves you wanting, needing, begging for more...just to feel the exhilaration when you revisit your favorite characters in the next story!

Sara Anderson is the queen of both sci-fi and shifter romance in my opinion. I got hooked on her when I discovered her Warriors of Dareen series, (which I still owe her reviews for, so sad that I have to read them again WEG! ) Then came her Wild Mountain Shifters series, a mixture of magic, shifters, and kink, oh my! And I became even more enthralled with her work. Now we are into the third book of her Southern Supernatural Alphas, a mix of shifters, vampires and more. This book deals

If you’ve read book one, Lycan’s Embrace, Rachel was the unfortunate woman who was attacked by the evil vampire Mortef and used to kill. She’s now under the protection of our heroes from book one. Both Devon and Kieran want Rachel, but since Mortef’s attack, she’s afraid of vampires. Not only do they have to convince her they are the right “masters” for her, but they also need to protect her from being used for Mortef’s nefarious plans.
There’s lots of delicious twists and turns in this book along with some downright hot kinky sex. Sara Anderson knows how to write an incredible paranormal romance with all the juicy kink this blogger loves! Don’t miss this one! And while you can read as a standalone, it’s so much better to read the series!

But Mortef soon realizes the prize he holds in Rachel, what she truly is, something she herself knows nothing about. All she knows is she's been violated in the most horrific ways. Sara Anderson's another new author for me. I love paranormal erotic romance, and Sara Anderson does it very well. Her characters are well-crafted. Devon and Kieran are more than friends. They're brothers in all but blood, and I found their connection compelling. The relationship between Rachel, Devon, and Kieran is one of the main themes driving this story. It's riveting! I felt the instant attraction, terror, heartbreak, and paralyzing fear, as well as the tenderness, joy, and love between these three. The battle between good and evil is omnipresent. This story's premise held me riveted from the first page. Reading this book was like a thrill ride. I loved every second of it! Sara Anderson has become another favorite. I give Vampires' Embrace 5 stars without hesitation. Kudos, Sara Anderson, on an outstanding story!
One final note. Please be an informed reader and consumer! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and BDSM sexual scenes.
