Overall this was an entertaining Zompoc series. Nine core books, each one fairly short, from around 80 to 240 pages long. I enjoyed the first five or so novels best, before the zombies "evolved," gaining god-like powers and magic abilities. For me it would have been interesting enough to simply have the zombies become intelligent with interesting psychopathic personalities.
I really enjoyed the main character in the first half of the series as well, she was such a fun and quirky character, but in the last four books I found myself enjoying the secondary characters more.
A lot of strong and interesting female characters, some great action scenes with quite a bit of tension. Also a lot of humour throughout, almost too much at times. It felt like all the characters seemed a bit too chipper considering the setting, but oh well, you do what you have to in order to get by in an apocalypse I suppose.
The last few books were a bit awkward and contradictory in places, this resulted in a bit of confusion and having to double back to see if I missed anything, not sure what happened there.
The ending in the last book was definitely different. For me, there were too many unanswered questions. In a way that might be a good thing because I'm sure once I stop being pissed off about it, I'll probably spend a few nights laying awake running various scenarios through my mind in order to close off the series in a more satisfying way, but I'm not sure if I like my stories to end this way.
Overall it was worth it. The series was interesting, not overly long, and fairly inexpensive as ebooks. The author added some interesting little twists to the zombie genre, and he writes psycho characters extremely well. It had some pretty fun and memorable moments. I can see myself reading the whole series again back to back in a few years.

Not the ending I would have expected, but what a great twist. The Author laves it up to the reader's imagination to how the sons last act, impacted the rest of the survivors in the end. I was expecting to see more of a Mother and son fight to the death but I have to admit Mr. Rosamilia raised the bar to the next level. I have been reading this series for years now and the ending was concluded nicely. We see some of our all time favorites in the last book and loose ends were tied up nicely. I can hardly wait to see what is next for Mr .Armand Rosamilia. He is a prolific Author who writes in many different genres. He has something for everyone. Thank you for the many hours spent in the Zombie world you created.

I knew this would be the end of Darlene and the rest of Dying Days, so I was sad but happy to read this book. Armand closed out this series perfectly! He closed some loose ends from past books. I’m sad to see the end of this series, I’ve been reading it and it’s short stories for a couple of years. Well done Armand.

I loved the little twist at the end. What a satisfying conclusion to an awesome series. This book was more emotionally charged than some of the others as we lost some great characters. I highly recommend this book, series and more of Rosamilia's books as he definitely has a way with words and knows how to tell an amazing tale.

Gripping series slightly let down by the ending.

I was enthralled by this series. It became rather far fetched even for a zombie series but was interesting and fun. It built and built to a promised epic finale.

Which is why the actual finale was such a letdown. The biggest threat of the story was taken care of with one sentence!

Recommended with caveat.

Exciting build up to the final scene of this brilliant series of books but the ending was anticlimatic.
