A single mom receives a miracle at Christmas in the form of a handsome, wealthy man. She has challenges and he is perfect for her and her daughter. This is a short, fast story with little drama. A sweet Christmas romance. I receive a free copy of this book but this is my own review.

MIRACLE ON AISLE TWO is the first book I've read by Beth Carter but won't be the last. Madison's troubles show that Christmas isn't always sparkly and happy, but good things can happen--even during a teary moment at the customer service counter. If you're looking for a sweet, quick read, grab this one. Miracle on Aisle Two would be perfect for an escape during the holidays (or any time of year).

Uncaged Review: In this short and sweet holiday story, Madison is a single mom, and fired from her job just two weeks before Christmas, and heading to Target to see how much of her daughter’s presents she can salvage that she has on layaway. But miracles can happen, and when Adam overhears Madison breaking down at the customer service counter – he steps in to help.

The story is sweet, with a lot of emotions in a very short amount of space, but Ms. Carter does a wonderful job with the book and it’s the perfect story to kick off the season. Reviewed by Cyrene

This was my second book I’ve read by Beth Carter & I must say that I’m thoroughly impressed. This was such a delightful story about a single mom losing her job just before Christmas & then the magic began the moment she went to Target to Pay on her daughters Xmas toy layaway! In steps Adam ( aka Santa ) & he saves the day literally for our Heroine! While reading this, you can feel the heart and emotion that Beth poured into this ! Beautiful single mom accidentally meets her Prince Charming who saves Christmas! All the little frugal comments about where she shopped & how she rationed and saved were genuinely felt in this book . Beth can also really convey great imagery within her stories! The outdoor snow scenes for fun & touring Adams plush & swanky hotel was just like being there enjoying the same wine as they did as he escorted her through . In the end we get the sweetest HEA that totally reflects the title & cover of this enjoyable story!

So much to like here...a devoted single mother determined to create the perfect Christmas for her adorable daughter, an empathetic (and drop-dead gorgeous) architect, and the miracle that brings these characters together. My advice to get into the holiday spirit: Set aside a few hours, brew your favorite hot beverage, and escape into this delightful novella.

I volunteered to review this book without any promises about the review (the rating or the posting).

I’m a huge fan of clean family orientated stories. When I found Miracle on Aisle Two I knew I had to read it. Before even opening the book I was ready for a sweet read.

The following is my personal opinion and thoughts about many aspects of this book and its author.
COVER: ✯✯✯✯✯ - The cover is exactly what I would’ve chosen for this book. Everything about it has a meaning or reference to the story. Bravo!
PLOT: ✯✯✯✯✯ - I loved the idea behind this book. It was a little far-fetched, however, most books are like that. But, miracles do happen.
WRITING STYLE: ✯✯✯✯ - Miss Carter’s writing style has an easy flow and is far from generic and doesn’t overuse any words. However, I did find it very simplistic and I personally prefer descriptive writing.
CHARACTERS: ✯✯✯✯ - While I found Madison and Betsy so easy to relate to, I unfortunately found Adam a little flat. I think this may have been due to the fact that while the book was written in 3rd party POV, it was mainly told from Madison’s direction. We never get a full realisation of who Adam is. At least in my opinion.
OVERALL FLOW: ✯✯✯✯✯ - Everything flowed with a sense of ease and relaxed attitude. There was never any angst that took you out of the moment. I felt like I was floating on air watching the scenarios take place. The flow was perfect in every way.

Madison is “laid off” less than a month prior to Xmas. Being a single mother with financial difficulties her little girl’s presents (on layaway) are in jeopardy. Thanks to the kindness of a stranger, the presents are rescued. This one miracle leads to another. Madison finds a man to love who seems too good to be true. I won’t ruin the book by explaining more.

This was a clean and relaxing read. Very little angst, but there was a little twist I honestly didn’t see coming. It was surprising, but didn’t cause any change in the easy of this story. I believe that everyone should read and enjoy the miracle.

Under no circumstances was I approached by the author to read or review this book. I offered without any agreement or promise for any compensation. I am voluntarily giving my opinion about this book. My only affiliation with the author is that I am a fan and want to support by reading and posting this review of my own free will.

Madison Periwinkle struggles to make ends meet being a single mom to 5 year old Betsy. She has just lost her job when her boss's ex-wife won his dental practice in their divorce and promptly closed it.

When she doesn't have enough money to keep her daughter's Christmas presents on lay-away she is rescued by a stranger who pays off her balance.

Adam Donovan is an architect and is deeply affected by Madison. Will he fall for the single mom and when he discovers a secret link will it break them apart?

This was a wonderful book with some Christmas cheer and happiness through all of the dark times.

As a single mom I completely understood how Madison struggled with being able to put together the perfect Christmas for Betsy. I was so mad that she lost her job and that Dr.Fenton's ex-wife had no care about how her decisions affected other people.

Adam was a great guy who cared a lot and I liked how he helped Madison out and in turn found someone he really cared about. I didn't think his secret was enough for Madison to split with him as it was something he could not control at all!

Good read.

Miracle on Aisle Two is a sweet, romantic Christmas novella that will just melt your heart in time for Christmas! Madison just found out her job is done two weeks before Christmas. Being a single mom, she’s especially worried about making Christmas special for her daughter. Will Madison find her faith in Santa and love again before Christmas Day?

This book was just so sweet and I really started to fall for Madison and Adam’s romance! Madison is such a hard worker and caring mother, but I loved watching her open back up again to trusting someone else and finding that true love. Adam was almost too good to be true, I loved his caring nature and his generosity, and I also enjoyed how open he was with Madison’s daughter! They made a really great team and by the end of the book, you couldn’t help but cheer for their happy ending! There’s just enough drama in this book to help keep you engaged, but honestly, I was so happy with reading about Madison and Adam! This is the perfect book to snuggle up with and love the sweet romance that unfolds in these pages!

🎁Sweet as pecan pie but the 💕 romance seems rushed

🎄💕 While I enjoyed this holiday story of affection blooming following an unexpected act of kindness from a stranger, I felt it was a bit too short. Hero architect Adam powers into going for an ever after so quickly it's almost a bit creepy. He's confidently talking future almost before they even have a present (gifts for under the Christmas tree notwithstanding). Little Betsy keeps the story focused on the wonder and joy of the season, right down to snowflakes collected on the tongue and snow angels: she's a little 👼 Angel herself, apart from a small blip in the holiday aisle at the local department store. Her cash-strapped mom has a real treasure there (and the prospect of surrounding herself with all things pink for the foreseeable future!😊).

I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.

Madison, an employee for a dental office, was looking forward to her office Christmas party. The last thing she expected was to hear her boss close up the business for good and right before the holidays.

What would she do now? How will she pay her bills? How will she support her daughter? And what would become of her Christmas?

For some time, Madison concerns herself over the great jeopardy of her daughter’s toys. In fact, she quibbles over the utter lack of all these material things. It just wouldn’t be Christmas without them. At first, I thought the drama over this was a bit exaggerated. Yes, I understand that money was tight, but there was no need to overreact. I think Madison needed to breathe, get a grip, and just figure something out.

Story was simple. Madison’s struggle for money, especially during the holiday time, was endearing and relatable. Although the story didn’t really grab me as much as I wanted, it’s still a decent read with a Christmas message.

A quicky, easy, Christmas read. This one was full of emotion.

Madison starts out getting a really him deal at Christmas time. Although she feels completely overwhelmed by life, she finds her Christmas miracle.

It shows how cynical life can make us sometimes. This was a happy story. Madison's daughter Betsy was a cutie. Adam was sweet, kind, and generous. They all got along so well. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. The thing that was going to ruin the holiday. But it didn't happen like that. There was a moment that was resolved quickly.

The one thing I didn't like was Madison's reaction to Adam's news. You can't blame a person for other people's behaviour.

This ended up being an instalove story with an HEA. Easy to read in one sitting.

I voluntarily read and reviewed this book received from Hidden Gems

I found this book discounted on Amazon; this is my honest review.
-The fact that Madison was poor was driven into our head left and right. First I want to say that if you're a dental hygienist, you're not THAT poor. There's self-pity all through the book and it was getting really, really old. "This is all I could afford". "Adam might not want your old shoes on his nice shirt" - such an awful thing to say to your child. She's fast to tear up and ungrateful "too bad I don't have a fireplace".
-Adam on the other hand says where he comes from once and that's it. Now he can afford more and spreads happiness whenever he can, up until the very end of the story. He's fun to be with, he's a gentleman, he doesn't care which side of the track you sleep in.
-Good job on the editing.

This was a cute little story.
This is about Madison, an already struggling single mother, who loses her job, two weeks shy of Christmas. She’s stressed and worried about how she’s going to be able to finish laying off the Christmas gifts for her five year old daughter. While she’s trying to explain to the layaway clerk, tearfully, about her situation, a kind stranger offers to pay for it for her. Madison is grateful, and agrees to have lunch with him as a thank you.
I really enjoyed this little story. It was sweet and heartwarming. As a mother, I can relate to the mother in this story. This story does seem a little rushed, and could have had more detail, but overall it was a good read.

Heartwarming holiday sweetness
Miracle On Aisle Two by Beth Carter is a lovely, super sweet holiday love story. Madison needs a miracle and she finds one in Adam, who comes through for her, Betsy and many others - a surprise Santa indeed!
I enjoyed the steady development of the relationship between Adam and Madison in addition to the adorable Betsy. This novella is sufficiently detailed, with a variety of ups and downs of new relationships and warm fuzzies of the holidays. Best of all, the end is holiday-worthy and truly heartwarming promising a HEA for all.
I read an ARC of this book from Hidden Gems and voluntarily share my review.

Short and sweet, this clean read may restore your faith in happily ever after endings.
Finding herself strapped for cash, Madison Periwinkle also finds herself out of a job.
Christmas is only days away and she is determined her precocious daughter will not be disappointed this year.
While attempting to pay down her lay-away debt, Madison catches the eye of hard working Adam Donovan. Is he Santa in disguise or just Prince Charming?
Madison is not one of those mothers out to catch a man but for some reason she feels safe around Adam. And then he disappears.
Was this a mistake or will her faith be restored?
A quick yet beautiful book.

Put on some Christmas music, get yourself a cup of your favorite hot beverage and curl up and read a sweet Chrismas story that will definitely put you in the Christmas mood. The love between single mom Madison and her 6-year-old daughter Betsy is so real. Just before Christmas Madison loses her job and doesn't know how she is going to pay for her daughter's gifts besides all of her other bills. While at Target trying to put some money down on layaway for Betsy she meets Adam who just might change her life. I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This quick little holiday novella is so sweet and cute and just plain adorable. It shows us that even when everything looks its bleakest, there’s always hope for something good, for something better. Through the actions of Adam and Madison, this story also shows us the truth behind the old adage about it being better to give than receive. It may not have been a long book, but it’s packed full of Christmas magic.

The story is uplifting and hopeful as these two unlikely people unite to form a loving family unit. It is chock full of heart and hearth.
