Life has many ways of testing someone’s sanity with either nothing happening at all or everything happening at once. Every test in life can leave you either feeling bitter or better.
As a child, El lived in different foster homes, trying to survive mental and physical abuse. It almost took her life while she fought to live, and as always, someone was there to save her. By the age of thirteen, she was adopted, and that’s when she met her best friend, Yara.
Being the black sheep of her family, Yara decided that she wanted more in her life instead of constantly disappointing her parents. Traveling was what El and Yara did to clear their mind from the world. During one of their trips, they stumbled upon men that would change their lives forever.
With Seven being kicked out at the age of seventeen by his father, he fought to survive in the streets. The streets are grimy to those who weren’t raised in them, and Seven was learning that the hard way until he met his right-hand man, Tone.
Tone was a loner all his life, and Seven was just who he needed to break out of his shell. Several years later, after they rose to the top of the game, Seven and Tone received devastating news that rocked both of their business and personal life to the core. Someone was threatening their empire and caused them to escape the madness on an island, right into the arms of Yara and El.
Ever had a brief chance meeting with some that left you wondering “what if”? Seven and El realized that it’s hard to cure loneliness when deceit and lies are their only medicine. Everyone wants happiness, but at what price?

Naw son
Why you had to do me like that. Yo I swear I was captivated from beginning to end. I am amazed. Yo this rollercoaster ride called seven ans el has left me dizzyl. I was hating seven so much but then you redeemed him. I have been in tears laughing at the damn fool he literally had me in stitches. This is forever a character I will remember. And El with her confused behind all im a say is she definitely about that hand and feet lige and I just loved it.

Yassss lawd!!
This is for the author.... OMG!!!! Gulfren you are soooo out of line for leaving me hanging like this!!! This story really had me fooled fanfuckintastic twist on this story!!! I most definitely recommend this book y'all I refuse to give any info on the storyline it had me just like that I want it to have you the same way!!! Get and read you will not be disappointed!!!

You can’t change a Man!!!
Seven was very selfish but at the same time he was brutally honest about his actions towards El, but in the end his willingness to change was commendable. Now Yara I couldn’t believe she played her friend like that, it seems like everyone had an agenda. Tone is Married hmmm, I can’t wait to find out how this all unfolds.........

Good Read
Held my attention initially from the beginning, but along the way it kinda scattered. Lost me some, but it picked back up. It was full of drama with twist and turns. I liked Seven and El's crazy relationship. Yara, totally surprised me...some so called friend. After that ending, I can't wait to see how it all unfolds.

GOOD BOOK!!!
This is my first time reading a book by this author but it won't be my last...I really enjoyed reading this book. It was good. I liked Seven and Ariel together even though their relationship started out crazy. I can't wait to find out about all the drama that's coming in part 2...I would recommend this as a good book to read...

Slow start
I gave the book 4 stars because in the beginning I couldn’t get in to the story. As I read on I began to like it more. I really can’t see how El held on for so long but I’m glad she did.

Page turner
This book was everything I finished it in 1 day. The author sure knows how to bring out the emotions i was a wreck. And then leaves us with a cliffhanger. I Definitely want to know more about the characters and what happens next. Great drama for a bookclub
