The Sincerely Yours Series starts off with a bang! Life has been good to Monai, but that’s before her ex-boyfriend, Demetrious, makes an attempt to creep back into her life and shake up things between her and the man she now loves. Demetrious is envious of their relationship, and before all is said and done, he’s adamant about destroying it. Monai cracks the door for him to do just that, yet she has no idea the destruction he causes will lead to a tragedy she may not be able to recover from. But in this life, everything isn’t always what it appears to be. She is forced to create a new life for herself, as well as for the love of her life, Nate, who for whatever reason, forgives Monai for her heart-breaking indiscretions. Nate is what many women consider a damn-good man, but when Demetrious may be set free for a crime he committed, ugliness rears its head. Someone has to pay the ultimate price for the damage that tore their worlds apart, and when the dust settles and the chips fall where they may, everyone will be left . . . stunned.

I struggled giving a 4 but I can't deny that the book kept me engaged and wanting to know what happened next even if I rolled my eyes while reading a bulk of the book lol. If I had a clue to what kind of book I was reading other than containing drama and a love story of sorts I might not have picked it up. So kudos to Ms. Hampton for keeping my interest for a genre or subgenre that I wouldn't normally pick up. I'm not revealing the genre because it wasn't revealed to me before I set out to read it lol.
I loved this book, Brenda has done it again, Wow the twist in this story I didn’t see coming, I felt sorry for Nate he was such a good guy, and didn’t deserve the fate he was dealt, Monai was wrong for what she did. Demetrius was no good from the start, I knew his out come would Not be nice, You Reap What You Sow!! I Loved The Ending, yaaaay for Black Love.
Very well written, the story line kept me wanting more, Excellent Job Brenda Hampton.
I'm like still in shock....asking myself...wth did I just read!!!
I can always count on my girl Brenda Hampton for a page turner....but this one here..... I didn't expect nor want to open my eyes to what she just did to my emotions....
I will have to re-read this book with open eyes because I didn't "see" anything during my first read.... I was only "feeling" the book...
OMG....Brenda...I'm on my way to your inbox now! #ICANT
I was ok with this concept but it was a little too far fetched for me. I have my beliefs on this matter and they are so different. Overall I felt it was interesting enough, just not one of my favorite reads. 3.5 stars.
Very interesting story line with a quite shocking ending that I did not suspect. Wow what goes around will come back around eventually.Treat people how you want to be treated. No one wants to be mistreated. you will Reap what you Sow.Good book
