A native New Yorker, Chris Keniston was on her way to Australia when she fell in love with North Texas. Little did she know the balmy seventy-degree October days would turn into fry-an-egg-on-the-sidewalk heat in August!

Twenty years later, she started scribbling short stories about her favorite TV shows, giving them lives more to her liking - and the elusive happy ending. Not long after, a dear friend dragged her to a local writers’ meeting. After winning multiple writing contests and making the finals in the Romance Writers of America’s prestigious Golden Heart contest, she now spends her days, and nights, writing contemporary romantic fiction with lots of emotion, plenty of surprises, and, of course, the happily ever after.

Chris lives in suburban Dallas with her husband, two human children, and two canine children. Though she loves her puppies equally, she admits being especially attached to her German Shepherd rescue named Gunny. After all, even dogs deserve a happily ever after.

Family, friendship and a match made in heaven lie in story for Farraday County. From the background to the main event. Jamison finally gets his chance to shine. Abbie is the woman everybody notices, but not many people truly know. This is her story. Keniston digs deep into her basket of goodies to deliver an intoxicating blend of lightly heavy romance. To find your dreams you have to open your heart to all the possibilities. With love, devotion and a helping hand in the end it all comes right. Have never met a Farraday I haven't liked.

And the awesomeness keeps coming with Jamison, the tenth book in Farraday Country! Each book in the series has its own feel and its own pace; Jamison just slides along easily wrapping the reader up in Farraday warmth, Jamison’s dream and the growing relationship between Jamie and Abby. Chris Keniston talent for creating wonderful multi-dimensional characters is as evident here as it has been in each of the previous books. While reading the earlier books would help place characters, I don’t think a new reader would have any problem enjoying this book to the fullest. Anyone who has read any of the earlier books is sure to love the second book featuring one of the Farraday cousins. Once again, the town pushes in to support the family with a surprising addition of one who has not always been a fan of anyone or anything. We get delightful hints about that person as well as some interesting bits about a couple of our favorites. Loved it!
I requested and received an advanced reader copy of this book because I could not wait to get my hands on it. As soon as I finished reading it, I dashed to my computer to share it with the world, or at least my little corner of it.

Jamison is the next book in the Farraday series by Chris Keniston. The series focuses on a family who all live near each other in Texas and always seem to have luck finding love after finding a stray dog. I love how the family sticks together, helping each other out!

Jamison Farraday is finally able to open the Irish pub he has been dreaming about and planning for. He has found the property, made the necessary business partners and decisions, only to have it all fall apart at the last minute. Luckily, despite Jamison not wanting his family’s help, they help him recover his dream without any other partners. A few some issues show up. He has managed to buy the building - that is full of stuff. He has managed to make friends with the local cafe owner, Abbie and her cook - only to be present when he was badly hurt. So Jamison offers to help cook for Abbie while his pub is being built. This is just the prelude to Jamison’s world changing and leaving him flipping burgers and planning a cook off and rallying hometown support.

Jamison and Abbie - oh yea…. Sigh. And yes - there is the ghost dogs that still are key elements. There is the family farm and Aunt Eileen who manages everything with a deft hand. What a nice romance and a heartwarming story of a town helping their own and standing up for what is right. Jamison is the tenth book in the series called Farraday Country. Chris Keniston writes a interesting story full of families and love. Jamison and Abbie are great together. Jamison by Chris Keniston is a good read.

Jamison: Farraday Country Book 10 is by Chris Keniston. This book carries on in the great tradition of the Farraday books. It is well-written and realistic. It stresses the importance of family and shows that true love is possible.
Jamison Farraday had finally made his decision. He was going to put an Irish Pub in the small town of Tuckers Bluff, Texas. He had already talked to investors and was waiting for the plans. He knew the pub would take a little business away from Abbie’s Diner but it would not affect breakfast or lunch and they would not be offering the same dishes. The town of Tucker’s Bluff could support two restaurants for dinner plus his dancing area would bring in folks from outside town. When he got the plans, they were for Hemingway’s International Grill! The investors wanted to go with them instead of his Pub idea. Jamison was furious. Luckily there was a clause in the paperwork that allowed him to pull out at any time and for the building’s owner to pull out of the deal. So they did and the Farraday family pulled together to fund Jamison’s pub. Now if he could only make it work.
There is lots of tension in the book as Jamison steps in to help Abbie out at her Diner when her cook injures his foot. Can they keep Hemingway’s out of Tucker’s Bluff? Are they able to get a license to sell wine and beer? Is there enough loyalty to the Farradays in town?

Jamison, Farraday Country Book 10

Chris Keniston

Jamison Farraday wants to start a real old family style Irish Pub. In Tuckers Bluff, where family is not just kin. But the path to this dream is not an easy one. The Town Council, a big commercial chain restaurant, and various and sundry others throw big obstacles that make Jamison really put sweat and tears into the project. Trying to get around and over these obstacles makes for a very entertaining story. Add in a squirming puppy who shows up…then POOF! Ghost-like disappears…well you know you’re in Farraday Country!

Abbie, who runs Abbie’s Café, just can’t seem to get ahead. Now with the threat of the Irish Pub, what would happen to her quaint little café? Her cook fell and now his ankle looks like a balloon. Jamison steps in to help, well because he feels responsible. Being around the gorgeous, handsome, gentleman begins to rub off on the pretty cafe owner. The attraction is there. But should she really go after the man who may be taking her customers away? Jamison keeps telling her that both the café and the pub can co-exist peacefully. Can she really desire to help put the opposition? Well you just need to get a copy and read it yourself!

Oh, and who is stranger that has Aunt Eileen muttering to herself? Come on Chris write faster!!!!!

I as given an ARC to read but the Review is my own and freely given!

Jamison Farriday has his eye on an old building to open an Irish pub in Tucker’s Bluff where his cousins, aunt, and uncle live. The backers who were in on the pub decided to go with a California company with fu fu food and drinks. Jamison was against it, so his family went in with him and bought the building without the other backers.

Unfortunately, Frank who is the cook at Abbie’s Silver Spurs Cafe, was at Jamison’s warehouse when a puppy came in and made Frank fall and gave him a bad sprain. He had to stay off his leg, so Jamison volunteered to cook at the cafe to help Abbie out. This gave Jamison and Abbie time to get to know each other.

This was such a sweet story. I love the Farradays. They are so good about helping and supporting each other. Their aunt is so much fun to read about along with her friends! I can’t wait until the next book as it looks like we may find more out about Aunt Eileen. I strongly encourage you to read the book. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book.

I can not get enough of this series. Chris Keniston is a wizard at writing this generational family saga about the Farradays. I am so in love with this incredible group of God fearing, respectful, family oriented ranchers. I want to live in this town, eat at the diner, work with and be friends with the entire Farraday clan.

Book #10 has Jamie struggling to get things approved with the city for his pub when a small accident that he feels responsible for has him pitching in as cook at Abbie's diner. Between that and late nights spent with Abbie's help cleaning out his new building the two are suddenly seeing each other with new eyes, and both seem to like what they are seeing.

When a grey puppy repeatedly crosses their path fate seems to push the two together again and again, but when several dogs and puppies cause a serious accident at Jamie's big event the two can no longer keep their true emotions in.

I received an ARC and freely offer this review.

Jamison is the tenth book in the Farraday County series, each book focuses on one of the Farraday’s and their love interest. Jamison is one of the Farraday cousins and he is ready to be back around family for good. He had made the plan and bought the old feed store and making it a Pub. But that is going to be a challenge as this had been and still is a dry county. And if the council doesn’t change their minds it will stay dry.
Abby is the sweet dinner owner we have seen throughout the series working hard at keeping everyone happy. But in this book she might get a chance at happiness herself.
This series keeps getting better and better as the family grows in the series. The way they stick together and the town is their to have their backs as well. This is the kind of town that you’d love to live in.

I love the Farraday series by Chris Keniston. Her new one, Jamison, is just as good as the first book in the series, Adam. Jamison wants to set up an Irish pub in his home town, but problems arise over a liquor license. The cook at the small café in town gets hurt and Jamie ends up taking Frank’s place as cook working with Abbie, the owner. True love takes some twists and turns involving a mysterious puppy and a town cook off. I love how the author involves all the loveable characters from previous books – the Sisters, Aunt Eileen, the cousins and siblings. After I finished reading the book, I was left with a strong desire for Irish stew, a Pink Squirrel, and the next book. What an ending!!

I adored this book! The Farraday's,
& the town Tuckers Bluff, at it's best.
It a heartwarming, funny, touching,
& entertaining story.
Jamie decides to open an Irish Pub in
town. It has been a dry county, for many
generations. Abbie is not happy about
the competition, of another restaurant
opening up. When unforseen accident occurs, Jamie steps up to help Abbie.
Jamie receives news about the Pubs investors he not happy about.
All the Farraday's come together to help.
Jamie & Abbie, have been spending
a lot of time together, at her restaurant,
& the Pubs loft. They start to see each in
a new light. Their feelings grow for one another. I enjoyed this so much, I could
not put it down.
A MUST READ FOR EVERYONE!!!

I knew I would love this book, the latest in the Farraday County series! I love the huge family, the small town and the way Chris has them all involved in every one of her books in the series. I received the advanced copy today and couldn't put it down till I finished it. I completely recommend this book, I totally recommend the whole series, you won't be disappointed. Start with Adam if you haven't read any of them and work your way through the alphabet with the siblings and cousins of the family. I love the dogs part in each story.
I can't wait for the next one... 'Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world...' !!

Once again the author has had me hooked. I started this book and just could not out it down until it was finished. The Farraday family are all involved in some way or other as Jamie and Abbie meander their way to finding love. Of course the dogs and pups play a vital role. Frank's injury also means Jamie feels responsible and takes on the role of chef in Abbie's establishment. The town council of Tuckers Bluff need convincing too and aunt Eileen HSS a truck or two up her sleeve. It's a fun read, it's heartwarming and once you start you may not want to put it down. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to all.

There was something about this one that really got to me. A big part of it was Abbie. For much of the series she has been around, in the background, ready to lend a hand to help. So when I realized this time around Abbie was going to get her own HEA I was really happy.

The way that Jamison and Abbie got to know each other was perfect. By spending all day working around each other they really got to know each other. Then later when they were going through all the stuff in the new pub location and working to get things set up for the town taste off. But the best was the ending, both of them deserved it!

The Farradays of Tucker’s Bluff is my absolute favorite series! The unfolding of Jamison’s return to Tucker’s Bluff, the plans for the pub, and the involvement of the matchmaking dogs was so enjoyable! Abbie was so due for her Prince Charming! I love the appearances of the already met family members and town folk! I thought the possibility that Mabel Berkner might be the local moonshiner was a priceless sidebar! And the final, epilogue chapter - I teared up! Knew there was a HEA coming, but once again beautifully stated.

Chris Keniston wrote a fantastic story for this next addition to the series! Jamison's character is relatable and fun. The story was moved along at a good pace while keeping me involved the entire time. Loved who he was paired up with and how the dogs were brought into the mix. It was very entertaining seeing this whole family interact with each other as well as with the town! This is one of my favorites in this series so far! Definitely a book worth reading!

OMG, this series gets better with each book!! Some would say 10 books in a series is too many! However, I disagree because Chris Keniston has a way of writing that draws you in, while keeping the stories fresh so you don't get bored! I loved Jamison so much and I think it's my favorite story, so far!!

I feel like with each book that I'm catching up with old friends and I love that in a book!!

I look forward to reading the next Chris Keniston story!!

I absolutely loved this book. Ms. Keniston continues the Farradays with one of the cousins. Jamie wants to open a pub but it won’t be easy. One of the residents does not want liquor in Tucker’s Bluff.
One thing Jamie doesn’t expect is Abbie who works at the diner. He ends up helping her and sparks start to fly.

Abbie isn’t sure about Jamie. If he opens his pub it might just take business away from the diner.
But something about him draws her to him.

See what happens.

Who knew opening an Irish pub would lead to true love?

Another wonderful book about the Farraday's falling in love unexpectedly. Jamison Farraday is trying to open genuine Irish pub in Tucker's Bluff. The cook at the local cafe is injured when a spirited puppy knocks him off a ladder. The former Marine is sidelined with his injury for several days. Follow the sweet story of Jamie and Abby's romance in another of Chris Keniston's books about the Farraday family.

Loved Jamison and Abbie as a couple. Thought it was odd how they hadn't "noticed" each other until now. Always love the puppies!!!! Sweet romance with a great storyline that pulls not only the family together but the whole town. Looking forward to Aunt Eileen's book. Hoping Sean Farraday gets his own book too.

Jamison is set in opening an Irish pub in town, but the plans are taken from him. His family is ready to rally and they need the rest of the town behind them. Cafe owner, Abbie, is among those concerned at what a new food serving establishment would do to her business. Spending time with Jamison may open her eyes to more than business. Good clean story

Really enjoying the family stories of finding the one for them. This one was surprising in not really figuring out how old Annie was I was thrown a bit on being matched until I realized I mistook her age. Well done in having a storyline and events that make it interesting. Good job keeping it clean while expressing interest.

This is such a sweet book and series revolving around a large warm family, a small Texas town, and matchmaking dogs. In this book, Jamie is planning on opening an Irish pub in town. Abby is concerned on how this will impact her cafe. When Frank, her cook, gets hurt at Jaime's place, Jaime steps in to cook at Abby's cafe. It's the start of a sweet friendship and romance. Meanwhile, a large restaurant group is challenging Jamie for the only liquor license in town. I received a copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntarily given review. It's refreshing to read such a sweet book. I really enjoyed reading this book and the series.

The entertaining series continues with Jamie and Abbie’s story. As always, all the Farraday’s play roles in making this a really nice, feel-good story. Looking to Eileen’s story next.
