This is part memoir part lecture part essay part interview. A good insight into a poet I knew little of, with plenty of avenues to head down exploring poetry and poets. It is over long so the stories become repetitive. That is a shame because what is read is wonderful. A good editing would have seen to a much more rounded view I think.
