True Ghost Stories: Hauntings at Sea: Real Haunted Ships, Boats, Oceans and Beaches

Rate this book
Are you interested in real ghost stories? How about chilling tales involving haunted ships? By haunted ships, I don’t mean ghost ships wandering abandoned seas (as disturbing as that may be), but something much more ships haunted by ghosts, some friendly and some, well, deadly.

Within these pages you will read the fascinating true stories of haunted ships, including ships such

Discover the true stories about ghosts who tear the sheets of the beds of unsuspecting guests on a famous luxury liner, ghastly crew members tragically, and possibly maliciously, killed whose faces appear in waves beside the ship, and a lifeboat rowed by a literal skeleton crew.

Learn about horrific accidents, rumored curses, and even exorcisms of seafaring vessels. Read about beautiful ghosts dressed to dance in one ship’s former ballroom, officers in their dress whites still hard at work, wet footprints left behind by ghosts enjoying a swimming pool no longer present, and mischievous ghosts just wanting to have some fun at the expense of the living. Find out why you shouldn’t take a modern cruise ship for granted for it might be haunted, and discover some ghosts are just trying to be helpful and comforting in their own, sometimes twisted, ways.

You'll also find true stories of haunted beaches across the globe,

Find out about the types of ghosts that choose to haunt beaches, including aggressive sailors, frightening mermaid-like creatures, and spirits whose presence can be felt even more powerfully than if they were physically present.

Once you finished this book of true ghost stories involving ships and beaches, you might find yourself afraid to go near the water…again.

Some stories I wish would have been expanded upon but overall I really enjoyed this little collection.

A few of these struck a chord more than the other ones. I won't spoil it for you, but one in particular sent chills up my spine.

Some of these places I wouldn't mind visiting. Would I see anything? Part of me wants to.

Would recommend 👌

Scary

I have always been scared of boats or ships it is nice to know I'm not alone. Reading and the movie of the unsinkable Molly Brown makes me sad for her and the tintanitic. I toured her house there in Denver and admit the lady was haunted herself sincerely christinedunne Harlingen Texas.

Quite interesting good tales.

Interesting if unremarkable book. Some good tales of maritime hauntings and haunted beaches, whilst not too scary the tales have atmospheric moments.

Hauntings at Sea

This was another entry of the author's hauntings series, this one relating tales of haunted ships and beaches. While enjoyable, many of the tales are too short and some are related as if it were you standing there instead of what took place. I had been looking forward to this one, but was a bit disappointed. I would've liked to have learned more. The best tale was the German U-Boat haunting because it has more information than most of the other stories.

Excellent spooky read

I love ghost stories and also love ships, so this book was a brilliant find. It's not a long book but it's a pleasure to sit back and read. Very informative about history and facts and just a very if not chilling book to read. I look forward to reading the other ones.

As someone fascinated with history and the paranormal, this book was extremely satisfying to read.

The stories felt genuine, and I didn't worry they were only made up tales. If you are someone who enjoys spooky stories and the mysteries of the sea, you will like this book. I gave it four stars as I wish the stories were longer.

Chilling!

This reminds me that land is not the only areas that hold memory, There is something so haunting about water 💦, old, ancient and full many remnants buried. I enjoyed reading this installment full of chills and spookiness!

A haunting and spooky read. Some of the stories can put a shiver down your spine. I always enjoyed watching Ghost Adventures when I was growing up and this book corresponds perfectly with that.

Seafaring good stories

The ship's and beaches in these stories are truly haunting places, not by the ghosts. The stories are very interesting to read. A delightful book.
