Have we ever needed caped crusaders more than today?
Thirteen wildly talented authors join forces to bring you never-before published tales of Superheroes doing what they do—saving the world.
Live vicariously through the Supers of today in the all original series Superheroes and Vile Villains.
Defy the Guild with the lovable, but arrogant Baron Steel, discover what it would be like if a super-powered man played baseball in Will Swardstrom's Pastime, experience a man out of time, in both senses of the word in Chris Kallias' Out of Time, and so much more.
More stories than you could shake a radioactive cat at for less than the price of one!
This is the third in a series of collected short stories by various authors. The collections alternate between short stories about superheroes and supervillains. The odd number books are superheroes and the even number books are the vile villains. Mnay of the authors say they were influenced by comic books while growing up. But these aren't like the mainstream comics that you might be familiar reading. These are more "realistic" takes on what it would mean to have superpowered beings in the world.
We are again looking at superheroes in this collection. But this time some of the stories seem to be getting away from the original premise. Stories that aren't so much superheroes stories as other genres like fantasy. There are also some glitches sneaking into the collection. Things like blank author notes. (Some author notes are repeats from earlier volumes. While this isn't a mistake, it seems lazy.) There are also stories appearing that are alright but seem to be more teaser for the superhero series that the author is promoting. 3.25 stars
kindle unlimited, not sure if just have read too much today or just what, but these stories were just okay, some confusing, some worse.

Some of the stories are great, and I've looked up the authors to check out some of their other work. Some of them, however, are pretty much garbage. More good ones than bad ones, so not a bad collection overall.
Meaning there's wonder in the after actions of a super hero's "save"battle" crime stoppage "accident prevention," ECT"! These stories show the aftermath of whats going on later or how it changed something! All are top of the stack reads!!!
