Delightful Anthology
What a delightful collection of sweet Christmas romances containing action, courting and recipes. I enjoyed all the stories and recommend the book.
I particularly enjoyed the Sarah J. McNeal story, "A Christmas Visitor." How long must a girl be expected to wait for the man she loves to return--to write, anything? Matilda is one unhappy woman in love, and Sarah did a wonderful job writing her character. The character of the man who finally showed up after three years, Sterling Alexander Thoroughgood, is also well-written, and he is so likable, I felt ready to forgive him his massive error in judgment. Sarah painted with words a sweet scene of their Christmas celebration, along with describing a unique gift Sterling hoped would soften Matilda's heart and change her mind. I kept guessing at the contents of the gift as she worked to open it. In the end, what she received changed everything for her. Great ending.

Sweet Texas Christmas!
I thoroughly enjoyed each story in this box set of four sweet novellas, perfect for this busy time of year. Each storyline was well crafted to entertain me, from the beginning page to the very end. Most importantly, I loved the characters and was happy they found their HEA.
I discovered three new, (to me) authors to follow and a favorite that I enjoyed catching up with.
I recommend, each one, worth the time I spent reading. JudyE

Sweet Texas Christmas is a fun, light, easy to read set of Christmas happily-ever-after short stories that just make you smile.
I adored Santa's Secret -- such fun to see Audra and Grady dance around each other and finally figure out they're meant to be.
Kidnapping Kalli. Haha! Loved it and how these two met and fell in love. Adventure abounds and sweetness made my heart smile. Shiloh and Kalli's story gave me the excitement and the sweetness I love to read.
Miss Miller's Molasses Cookies: cute story, lighthearted, not alot of depth. The "drama" keeping James and Josie apart kinda seemed to be missing something and didn't make me really fall/like either of them that much.
A Christmas Visitor - Another cute story! Matilda was almost too stubborn and prideful for her own good, and Sterling for a moment (or two, or three) made me so mad! But then I kept going and when I fully learned what he did, it made sense and I forgave him quickly. haha! This is a second chance love story.
The recipes at the end are a sweet (haha!) touch and funny enough, we have a treasured family cookie recipe I made earlier today that is almost exactly like one of the recipes in the book. Someone's family has great taste! :)
