Marik takes her along because he senses she's a natural healer after he begins teaching her to heal with meds and learned skill. Marik, the third brother in the surviving ruling house of Revant, is happy on Revant Two. He's a gifted natural healer, and is teaching Jenny, an Old Earth refugee, to use her natural healing gift as well. When his brother Talon and Jessica, his mate, return from Old Earth requesting medical help, they both decide to go. The revolution begun on Old Earth is spreading through the galaxy, the Federation is helpless, and their mission of mercy is a drop in the bucket, but as healers they must try to help. Jenny has an ulterior motive - find her long lost fiancee Ben. Mari has his hidden agenda - give Jenny full access to her powers. They both feel, yet try to deny, the pull between them. In the grand tradition of Hemingway and Pasternak, their growing love plays out against the bitter conflicts, the suffering, and the betrayals of the revolution, and survival wars with sexual desire as the subject most often in their thoughts. Hot romance, bittersweet war scenarios, and their barely-squeaked-out HEA make this riveting romance a stand out. I'm voluntarily reviewing an ARC of this novel, and I totally recommend it.

Marik and Jenny

Marik is the third brother in the series. He has fought in wars but at heart, he is a healer. He is someone who is a natural healer and a touch healer. A natural healer inherently knows who to heal using nature while a touch healer can heal by touching.
Jenny is one of the women that was on the original slave ship that the Revants wrecked. She learned about healing using plants from her mother but his the talent on Old Earth because she was from below. One Revants Two she tries out different jobs so she can learn. She is asked to go to the med clinic to help Marik. She doesn't want to because she feels attraction toward him. She had a fiance named Ben on Earth, so her feelings are messed up and she feels guilty.
When Talon and Jessica come to ask healers to go to Earth to help. Jenny and Marik are the two who go.
Marik does something to help Jenny to heal people better, but Jenny doesn't remember. Earth is a mess!
Read to find out what Marik did, if she finds Ben and what can be done to help Earth since the Federation has done nothing.
I like sci-fi romance books and this one is engaging and has plenty of adventure along with the love story.

This is a fast paced read by Celeste Raye which is the third book in the series. It concentrates on Marik and Jenny who is a human he finds as he knows that she has great healing powers that are, as yet, untapped, but he is going to protect and support her to develop these skills. Whilst they are both attracted to one another Jenny is looking for her fiancée who has gone missing after the conflict on Earth. Celeste's style of writing is very easy to read and she draws you into the storyline straight away. I enjoyed the pace of the story and it was interesting to see how their, at first, attraction turns to full blown hot , sizzling chemistry by the end. I received an arc of this book and voluntarily leave my honest review of it here.
DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED.

Great read

This is the third book in the series, and a wonderful addition. The world building is wonderful is this futuristic, post-apocalyptic alien romance. You’ve got action, romance, sexy aliens.... doesn’t get much better than that.

I do have one major complaint: there’s one brother left and I have to wait for the next book! I will definitely read the next book in the series (when available) and you definitely read for by this author.

I received a free copy of this story in exchange for an honest review.

First let me say that I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book, but it in no way influenced my feedback. I always leave an honest review.

OK, on to the review. This is the 3rdnd book in this 4 book series. I have not yet read book 1, but I will get to it. :)
This story is gr8 & well written. Marik rescues Jenny from a slaver ship and it turns out they're both healers. Emotions & feelings ignite between them. Everything about this story pleased me. I do recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up

Lots of emotions involved with reading this story, despair, hate, hope, relief and love. Marik and Jenny are two healers who are devastated when they see what is left of Old Earth. Neither feels they can confess their love of each other in case the other doesn’t feel the same. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the next one.

I loved this book, it has humour and adventure in the book, the lead guy Marik sometimes he is a bit slow if i can put it this way when it comes to Jenny and how she feels about him.
Jenny is a hard headed lead lady who wants one thing but still clings to the old.
This is a good book and i recommend it has to be read.

Marik

So far I have enjoyed both books in this series. They have been exciting and intriguing. The ladies have been strong willed and willing to learn how to stay alive. Even though they didn't start out that way, they learned in a hurry. This is a good series and should be on your TBR list and added to your library. You won't be disappointed.

Marick is a healer. Jenny is from Earth 2 the Below. She has escaped the war and is on Revant 2 trying to start over. She has knowledge of healing plants so she will work with Marik at the hospital.
Then Talon needs healers for Earth 2. It turns into a nightmare on Earth 2 because of the war. Loved it.

A great book, say to read and get lost in. The author is really developing her writing and coming into her own. I have really gotten into the series and cannot wait to read the next book

People don't Charge

The story was great and I believe if ever there was a Disaster that this story is how people would act and behave. Well done as it shows how human beings and their reactions to a invasion sent to help. Look forward to the next story of this series.

The book was fantastic: an updated, X-rated The Rediscovery of Man. The two sex scenes were QUITE graphic, reminding me of what I am missing in my widowhood.

Marik and Jenny portray another side of the rebellion they face in this series. As healers, the atrocities they encounter hits on a different level. Jenny finds out she's even more than she thought and Marik finds himself in a difficult situation in showing her this. If you like sci-fi you will love this!
