A theft. They think it's me. I don't care what any of them think—except for my new boss. Big, strong and handsome…and totally out of an iota's league.

Iota wolf shifter Emma Singer is desperate to keep her new job. Needing the money for her mother, she was ready to take the first thing that came along and was thrilled to be hired instead at Dr. Gabriel Light's store. Then a pricey high-tech phone is stolen—and it looks like Emma's the thief.

Emma decides to investigate herself to clear her name and is shocked when Dr. Light steps out of the night to help her. As she spends time together with this big, brilliant man, she begins to long for things an iota can't have. If he wanted her too, he's show it, right?

Wizard prince Gabriel Light has big trouble. His friend's phone prototype has been stolen, bad enough. But a chance touch of his new employee lights a bonfire of need in him. Problem? Witch + shifter = stupidly huge taboo. If the Witches’ Council finds out, they’ll have his and Emma's heads. Literally.

He should run as far away from the sweet temptation that is Emma as he can. But when the mysterious thief returns to target Emma, only a wizard prince can truly protect her…

I write steamy paranormal romances and wickedly fun romantic adventures, stories that crackle with action and love. Challenging, smart alpha men—and women not afraid of a challenge. Oh, do the sparks fly when he meets THE woman guaranteed to infuriate and inflame him most.

In real life I'm a USA Today bestselling author, a spouse and mother, a flutist, a computer geek, and a binge-TV-watcher of The Flash, Elementary, NCIS, and Wynonna Earp.

Mary Hughes again made me smile and enjoy reading a story. The Pull of the Moon series has been fun and interesting with fascinating characters and a storyline that is both serious and fun.

Emma was insecure and always trying to prove herself. This job at Choice Buy is perfect for her. But, there is a chance that Gabriel Light won't want her an an employee. But, one look at him, speaking with him and seeing his way of doing business makes up her mind that she will do whatever it takes to keep this job … even if it means proving to everyone that she is not a thief. To her surprise, she doesn't have to convince the hunky Gabriel Light. She's not really sure what is going on with him but she knows, the more she is around him, the more interesting he is and the more she wants him. Even if it's just one time.

With one look at Emma Singer, Gabriel knows that there is something different and special about her. She is bright, funny, charming, gets his sense of humor and totally off limits. She may be beautiful and sexy but, is she worth losing his head over her? He is starting to think that she is. He knows she's not the thief but is surprised when she insists on helping him catch the thief. He has to hide his magic from her but how does he keep his secret and prove her innocent? And, how does he keep his libido in check when she is so near?

Hmmm, Mary Hughes left me hanging! I'm not used to that with this amazing author. But, it is only making me look forward to what is going to happen with Emma and Gabriel in the future. And, it would not be a Mary Hughes novel without me looking into all the characters and just what is trying to be conveyed. It was a little hard this time to see the whole message but I thing I know where she is going with Emma. Mary Hughes showed us that trust is earned and respect is given freely by those you trust. Here was a woman that was at the lowest rung on the totem pole … not trusted, not liked, always fighting for everything only to be trusted by a man that barely knew her but had faith in her. I was not surprised by the way this story flowed, the intrigue that was intertwined with the humor or how interesting the characters were. Classic Mary Hughes that always has me anticipating her next release.

Hunt Mates by Mary Hughes is a very good read that's packed with charm and humor. A wonderful story about the attraction between iota wolf, Emma and wizard prince, Gabriel. Storyline is packed with suspense, denied attraction and laugh out loud moments. Very eager to see what happens in the next book. A terrific shifter and wizard romance.

This was an enjoyable mystery that also found the boss and one his employee's trying to deal with their attraction to each other. I still haven't read a lot of witch and/or shifter books so I'm still learning the rules that the different characters have to live by which added to the interactions between Gabriel and Emma. Would recommend reading this book.

Good read.

Paranormal. Uf. Wolf shifter heroine. Worlock male interest. For some reason I thought this was a standalone. Nope. It's part of a series. It was definitely interesting.

Funny, sexy, but way too short. However, this is the middle of a series of short books, so I assume the romance will be continued.
