Sasha reconnects with her old lover Cordell, after many years. At first things seem perfect and they both fall happily in love. When they take their relationship further and get serious, Sasha notices how his family is always demanding things from him. With so many of Cordell’s family in his business, Sasha begins to feel she isn’t number one in his life anymore and can’t deal with. Cordell gets in trouble and he will find out who is there when he needs them the most. Is it Sasha or his family? Deja is Sasha’s good friend. She’s been with her man, Kenny, since high school. Their relationship is great but after Kenny’s mom dies, he feels obligated to take care of his married sister Gina. At first Deja is able to ignore Gina’s nagging but when she takes things too far and Kenny gets in trouble for his sister, Deja puts her foot down. Will Kenny choose his sister or the mother of his daughter? Through all the drama and messiness, Sasha and Deja have each other to lean on. Will their relationships work with jealous and meddling family in it? Or will it all fall apart?

Very good book and I can definitely relate to both Sasha and Deja. Gina is a piece of work and Kenny is so focused on being there for her so much that it's ruining his home and Gina's home. I can't wait to dig into part 2 to see if Cordell gets his act together-I sure hope he do! I hope Kenny is okay too! Good book! Realistic writing style -written with relatable situations and circumstances!

Great read!!!
Ok so this was a good ready but I did not like the way it ended. Its funny how some men will f*uck over their girl for their family only to realize that the girl is the one who actually have their backs. I guess Cordell and Kenny learned that the hard way😕😕. This book touched on real life situation and I really like that!! Good job❤

Decent Read
I can see how Deja and Sasha was tired of dealing with the men in their lives. Sasha was tired of Cordell running to his family aid when not one of them stood beside him in his time of need. I see why Deja was getting sick of Kenny. Kenny and his sister relationship seemed disturbing. Deja was tired of always being placed on the backburner.

F*ck Your Family
Overall a good read. There were noticable grammatical errors with names but it wasn't hard to figure out and didn't take away from the story. Dena has every right to feel the way she does regarding Gina. What is Cordell's family holding over him that has him so blinded by them? Cash was too good to be true.

So relatable
This most definitely has to be a true experience from the author or someone she knows. That dang gina...smdh. i hope everything works out for both couples. Cliff hanger has me on edge!

good read
good read hate how Kenny let Gina play him hr was a mess. Cordell was just stupid just couldn't get right. Deja is going to be devastated by Kenny. Sasha need to leave both men alone an find her someone.

Nothing about it was ordinary
You really have to think about all the things a relationship suffers when it comes to outside forces. This was the first story of this topic I ever read and it has me thinking about my in-law’s deeply and with the side eye lol
